I called it. Darkseid already mopped the floor with Thanos when it came to raw power (I wasn’t aware of his true form, though). But, I didn’t expect cameos by Deadpool. That was a welcome surprise. That animation upgrade to Deadpool, though. I like it.
I liked how Darkseid decided to kill Thanos after showing him Deadpool was kissing death. That is the kind of fucked up things Darkseid is capable of doing. Thanos actually has some tiny bit of moral compass. But Darkseid is just evil and cruel. He prefers and wishes to enslave and torture all lives in the universe for eternity rather than killing them .
And can we just appreciate the Voice acting for DP!? Takahata101 is a goddamned genius! He voiced both Cell and Nappa in TeamFourStar's DBZA, and Alucard in their Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, amongst other things.

You'd literally have to have actual gods fight Darkseid to even have a chance to win. Like the Old Gods (Greek Pantheon etc), Demon Lords (Trigon), Archangels (Lucifer, Michael), New Gods (Highfather) or Monitors (Nix Uotan). The Superman thing was a bit weird, but I guess string theory can work to his advantage.

Superman created the miracle machine and still knows how to create one. No one else knows how to make it. With the miracle machine superman was able to match the vibrations of darkseid true forms and defeat him temporarily.
Darkseid recently killed Zeus with ease, despite being in a much weaker form. He has killed numerous Gods, including his homeworld's entire Pantheon.
@@Cervando like I said "have a chance" doesn't mean anyone would win. Also remember like Darkseid those Pantheons all have God heads, with varying forms of power allocated to their avatars. One of the only gods to not have a God head is the Presence, who is truly omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. The Archangels are in a similar situation.

To be accurate he lives outside the DC Multiverse, because if he entered any universe he would destroy the entire Multiverse. This is why he works through avatars all the time, as his goal is to conquer the whole Multiverse, not destroy it. The Anti-life equation he seeks would grant him control of every sentient being.
Yeah that's basically what Final Crisis is all about. He won against New Genesis finally but he too was fatally injured and as a last fuck you decided to destroy the entire DC Multiverse.
That's why Darkseid ain't affected by the damn DC Comics reboots.

The Deadpool stuff killed me, lmao. Deadpool is technically Thanos' mortal enemy. Thanos loves Death so he wipes out the universe to earn her love but because Deadpool can't die, Death is intrigued by him and wants Deadpool. So Thanos wants to kill Deadpool to get rid of him, but if he kills him then Deadpool would technically win because he would be dead thus with Death instead of Thanos. So he has to let Deadpool live and try and win over Death with the Stones to appease her while she still lusts after Deadpool.

Considering what he did in the Apocolips War movie I’m not surprised Darkseid would win. He killed nearly every superhero and even when he lost the heroes still needed to perform a Flashpoint event because the world was *still* going to die making the events of the movie (regardless of how amazing it was) ultimately unnecessary and resulted in erasing the events of both of the cinematic universe Teen Titans movies, which were *way* darker than the T.V. show.

Thanos was destined to be humiliated the moment Deadpool appeared.
There's one main difference between Darkseid and Thanos that doomed the latter: DC continues to treat Darkseid with respect as one of their most dangerous villains. Marvel allowed some of the writers to turn Thanos into a joke.
