@@scrapfox3695 Silver wasn't underestimated, most of those fights simply didn't use Archie comic Silver. The main reason they used Xeno Trunks and Archie Silver was because a battle between their main versions would've been a massive stomp.
What's funny about this is that the true ending would probably just be Trunks offering Silver a job as a time patroller instead of them fighting lol
Sadly I imagine Silver would likely break away from the Time Corps when he realises their job is to stablize the timelines and not prevent the atrocities that happen.

If an atrocity is part of the natural timeline, they have to let it happen, which Silver won't stand for.

For the Spawn questions. This happened in the comics from the 90's where crossovers were pretty big, and Spawn was pretty new. Also waaaayyyyyyyy before Silver came up in 06.

If you think that the apparent Sonic and Spawn crossover was absurd, then did you know that there was a story line where Archie Andrews and the rest of Riverdale met up with Frank Castle, i.e. The Punisher himself?! Thinking about it, when you consider Sonic meeting up with Sabrina the Teenage Witch, who is a resident of Riverdale like Archie, that could mean that Super Sonic and Super Mega Man’s Chaos Energy also affected the Marvel Multiverse!

For those curious enough to wonder who the Betrayer was, it was Sally Acorn, the leader of the resistance, and Sonics old flame in some timelines.
She tried to go double agent in robotniks army, but got caught and turned into Metal Sally.
Basically, she got the Ranger Slayer arc.

@@kingcold298I think you read that arc wrong friend. The Super Genesis wave was primed and ready to fire on the entire world. Sally had managed to get into a crawl space and hook up Nicole to the Network was unable to stop the launch, she was however able to direct to where the blast would go…though the ONLY option was to backfire the blast on her location. Thus turning into Metal Sally. Silver went through the entire original Freedom Fighter Roster only to find no real conclusion on who the traitor was. The only REAL freedom Fighter traitor that we see is St. John (the skunk), who only a few issues before turned his back on the kingdom to stand with Ixis Nagus.
When you think about it, isn’t Silver just Trunks’ fursona?

@@atimebiwok9348I'm a bit late in response,but Ultra Instinct was never actually intended to be a form in Toriyama's view. None of his notes,interviews or even the movies he made scripts for mention ANYTHING about Ultra Instinct.
For further evidence,Toriyama states that Goku never needed Ultra Instinct to beat jiren in his own script and instead it was a complete team-effort unlike Toei's anime and Toyotarou's manga.
He DID make a character concept for Ultra Instinct,yet that does not make it canon. Toriyama gets requested to make character concepts all the timezlike with Cooler or DBZ Broly,which as you know are not canon.
While you could make the argument that Toei was inspired by Ultra Sonic for Ultra Instinct,saying so would be speculative as if it was inspired Toriyama would state so in an interview or note. Yet it's not canon in his script

These are 2 of my favorite characters in all of fiction. But seeing them come to blows was weirdly exciting to watch.

i thought Ian flynn said he doesn't buy it because silver had to use the emeralds and time stone so its technically unfair. so if it was base fight trunks would nuke silver from orbit

Maybe they should have addressed that Silver was going to be composited between pre-genesis and post-genesis. Ian Flynn (writer of late Archie Sonic, IDW Sonic, and Sonic Frontiers) reacted to this with a pretty mixed response. He mentioned that Sonic was technically affected by the Super Genesis wave, but if they're compositing both iterations of Silver, then the Key sword means pretty much nothing if he couldn't even hit Silver (assuming that's how it works, I've never seen DBH).

Ehhh, I don't think so. Even game silver will still put up a good fight to xeno trunks. Game Silver will make the fight very difficult for Trunks no matter how you look at it.
Game Super Silver can contend with Solaris and beat him who can be outerversal due to ALMOST/ATTEMPTING to destroy the entire Sonic Cosmology/Multiverse Game Solaris appeared in the Archie Comics as well.
Death battle likes to nerf/downplay every other verse(especially sonic) that's not DC. Game Silver will entertain Trunkd for a little bit and then washes him.

@DarkHeartTheEmo look this Solaris wank is getting way out of hand. I need to clear this up. Solaris is very powerful, but the hedgehogs were more powerful. Each Hedgehog had the capability to defeat Solaris on his own. It was just his omnipresent hax that made him truly a threat. If it was just one Solaris to fight. Super Sonic alone could've ended him. Even in mid fight all the hedgehogs were basically clowning Solaris not seeing him as an actual threat to their super states and scoffed at that he wasn't that much of a challenge and that in their words the fight was "kinda easy". Is Solaris powerful yes, but if it wasn't for his omnipresent hax. Super Sonic alone could've defeated him by himself as evident in the official guides of Sonic 06 it said Super Sonic had the power to defeat Solaris in combat.
@@BayScrilla510 Not in the game, the first form of Solaris is weak to a specific hedgehog, that from have 3 phases, in the frist you have use Sonic and ram into him, after a while, that stop working and you have to use Shadow and the chaos spears, but they also stop working and in that part is when you use Silver, in the second form is free for all but Sonic and Shadow work better than Silver, Silver can fail on his attack but the other 2 not so much, Alone they could defeat him unless they are from the Archie Comics, like I said Silver is good but the one on the Archie Comics is on another new level

DBH is way stronger than that and it was still incredibly close between the two and Xeno Goku is way stronger than a lot of Archie characters. There are a lot of versions of Goku that can hang with Archie Sonic that are way stronger than Main Series Goku.
@Highland Ave no they're not and Xeno db characters don't even make it to Solaris bruh. Solaris will fodderize the whole db xenoverse/db heroes. Solaris was going to wipe out the infinite multiverse/Cosmology of Sonic and Super Sonic took him on and beat him in his own timeline and Solaris is not even the strongest villian in the verse and that was all the way back in 06. Sonic gotten way stronger and it's been stronger enemies since.
Thats the thing about sonic not a lot of people know how op he and his friends are.

bro like u said it a lot to explain sonic lol, but sonic isn't really for kids as they showed some of the dakrk stuff in this video alone. it has dark themes here and there, overall its typically in a dragon ball super type thing not too dark not too light but it goes there sometimes. also they have infinite time lines which means infinite possibilities so technically there are timelines where they met other heroes from other comics and mangas including spawn and maybe dbz even.

it's because the chaos emeralds can travel through different dimensions and universes. spawns rival stole choas emerald to write a new timeline silver defeated spawn rival and his world was back to normal spawn rival only new about it because Dr Eggman told him about it.

And they didn’t even talk about Silvers most powerful form, Hyper Silver. This form channels the power of the Super Chaos Emeralds, meaning it has speed faster than the faster than time Super Sonic, has more power than the Super form which was able to rewrite multiple multiverses, and is overall just stronger than Super Sonic.

Awesome video! I would've made the theory that Silver is the Son of Shadow and Amy canon for his origin story. Then it would even make sense for him to have both of their powers combined. As he does have abiliies similar to both of them. And it would makes for him to have yellow eyes as Shadow's eyes are red and Amy's eyes are green. Cause with the colors of light Red and Green make Yellow.

Death Battle didn't want to make a fight that's easy to predict. They knew Silver would lose against Trunks if they used their original versions. This is why they used their alternate versions since they worked differently, and they were right when they found the surprising results.
