I will be 56 this year. I used to skate when I was a kid, but it's been decades since I did. I am on day 2 of relearning to skate. I'm pretty terrified to be honest! I am starting out in my very small kitchen area, and not able to even get two bubbles in at a time. But even though I'm scared, I really want to do this. I hope a year from now I am able to do even half of what you showed in this video. You have really progressed a lot! My main goal is to just skate. I don't care if I learn any fancy tricks or anything. I just want that feeling of skating again. It's an amazing feeling once you can do it. And I hope I will get there. 🥰

yes! I'm still in the beginning stages. I had a really hard time finding a decent place to skate. So it's been slow going. But I recently found a good place, so I'm back at it! I make videos on another channel I have, but my progress is still slow. So it's not much to see at this point. 😀@@marcelineclaire
I screamed a little bit when I saw the first clip of you skating backwards seamlessly!!! You’re hard work paid off!! You look so good!!
I would watch the beginning part for a whole hour. No joke. That was so cool! Even if you just glide across the screen I would still watch! It's surprisingly, SUPER, relaxing to watch! I loved the video! And... I came from watching the 14 days one. I loved that one too!

This was so helpful. I just bought my first impalas and felt guilty for not investing in some longer lasting skates ( the ones i really wanted after 6 hrs of research are also unavailable) but i couldn’t afford them anyways. This really made me feel better about my decision since i haven’t skates since i was 8 and I’m 36. Im taking this new hobby cuz i can no longer poledance due to medical reasons. Also loved the music ❤ i think i’ll blog my first day don’t know if my disability will worsen tho but i will try

I love this! Great to see your progress and everything you said resonates so well. I'm on the right track! I'm curious to know how frequently and for how long you practiced. I'm doing about 30-60 min daily, focusing on drilling whatever I'm struggling with at the moment.... How did you decide what to practice? So inspiring to see your progress!

Hey! I am looking forward in learning and stumbled into your video. I watched your 2 weeks journey into this video and very amazed that you are very much improved! I love seeing you skate confidently. I have a question though, how often do you practice or use your skate? You improve crazy a lot in a year and i hope to do the same!
Ive wanted to roller skate ever since i was a kid but couldn't because my dad wouldn't let me. So now that im living on my own im going to fullfil my dream and skate. Only problem is i dont have enough money to buy a pair of skates. Ig it just feels like everything is working against me
