I'd say yin is magnetic and yang is electric from an alchemical standpoint, and It pretty much lines up with what you've said as magnetic energy would pull in towards itself while yang (electric) could be used to power a tiny bulb as john chang demonstrated, even so science as a whole doesn't consider it electricity but I think this is a good way to think about it. Hmmmm... Yin Yang need a point of reference. It can be applied to anything. Applied to mathematics, point of refference would be 0, negative numbers would be Yin, and positive numbers would be Yang. I think Yin and Yang applied to energy have to do with polarities of our human energy. Polarities do exist. Hi, as a scientist I favor talking in scientific terms, such as frequency. What frequency is the energy that allows you to stop bullets with your skin, the one that allows you to break a stone or the one that allows Shaolin monks to withstand punching action ? Is it only frequency that differentiates it from the apparently electrical field that allows one to light up a gas discharge lamp, to burn a hole in a sheet of paper or to move small objects from close distance?
