'Your Dinosaurs Are Wrong' is a series that makes paleontology accessible to the general public using familiar (but wrong) dinosaur toys.
I still want a "The Dinosaurs That Weren't" that takes an inacurate dinosaur and speculates how it would have lived if a dinosaur like that did evist.

I'm very amused by how, toward the end of the iguanadon animation over the final credits, the addition of a dewlap and back spines actually make it look more like an iguana. Everything old is new again.

I'm very tempted to send in one of my 'beasts of the mesozoic' raptors because they're so cool but i love them too much
I don't think he keeps the toys unless the sender specifically says so so you can just ask to have the toy back once he's done a video on it! ( If it's velociraptor specifically he's done a video on that one already though )
@@EggsDeinony I thought it was the opposite? He kept the toys unless told that the owner wants them back afterwards. That's what he said in past episodes of the show
We definitely need to get them one, even if I just send it straight from creative-beast.com. The first wave of ceratopsians will be here in a month or so as well. 🙂

They are phenomenal quality and set the standard for detailed dino figures.

The sauropods in Primal were surprisingly accurate, especially their feet which have toeclaws on the hind feet and the single-clawed hooved front feet
Good thing they do not have those elephant like feet that a lot of sauropods gets in pop culture

ACT - Australian Capital Territory
NSW - New South Wales (the state Sydney is in)
NT - Northern Territory (a.k.a. Darwin/Alice Springs area)
SA - South Australia (where Adelaide is located)
TAS - Tasmania (I'm sure most of you know where that is)
VIC - Victoria (the Melbourne state)
WA - Western Australia (the entire western third, not to be confused with Washington)

Rhoetosaurus was 15 meters long with a height of 7 meters and i believe it belongs in the clade gravisauria

Fun fact about that Utahraptor, it was originally supposed to be Baryonyx in the European segment of the WWD episode "Giant Of The Skies", but for some reason they went with Utahraptor instead.
Rhoetosaurus is another Australian dinosaur, this one isn't from the Early-Mid Cretaceous, surprisingly enough. It's from the Mid Jurassic actually, around 170-160 million years ago, which is a rare find in Australia. And the larger Muttaburrasaurus toy looks more like an Iguanodon.
The only rearing sauropod toy I've ever seen is my brother's Diplodocus
Rhoetosaurus got a profile in Orbis Publishing's Dinosaurs! magazines, but that was pretty much the only time I saw it depicted anywhere.
You guys are awesome! One day it would be cool if you sold detailed 3D renders of dinosaurs (like for 3D printers) and then update them as new information comes out.

That deinocheirus figure that was being sold in these little candy eggs at my walmart. They had originally called it a compsognathus, which I don't think is right.
Hey Steve, what's up? I'm a paleoartist and i make felt plushies of dinosaurs and other fossil animals, and i always wanted to send one to you. I'm Brazilian so i think i'd send a Brazilian dino such as Paraphysornis or Santanaraptor to represent my country. Will it bother you if i send mail?

Honestly I'd actually really enjoy a livestream of y'all learning and playing that game! It sounds really entertaining. Very interesting idea for a game and the execution seems top tier. I love the idea of mixing different features and traits and figuring out how that would work/look. Looking forward to seeing what else y'all got mailed and I absolutely can't wait for the next YDAW dino profile episode.
Hey, Rhoetosaurus was a Cetosaurid, so yes, it is more basal.

6:03 that protoceratops reminds me of some pictures of bootleg kaiju toys I’ve seen in articles about dnd’s history. Gary Gygax would use toys like these as mini figures in his games, and some of dnd’s unique monsters are based on them
These 3 definitely look more like monsters than dinosaurs, i could very easily see them being used in a tabletop game

But then the show would have to be called "your dinosaurs are right" because the figures are amazing and accurate.

I recently found an awful and weird toy dinosaur in a toy bag at home. It's in a very outdated pose (standing on its tail) and looks bad overall, I don't even know wich dinosaur it is supposed to be, but it has a few feathers. I was very confused when I found that thing. :D If I find some more interesting stuff I will definetly send it to you ^^
