- The wait is over. After 3 weeks in the paint shop, my E39 is finally ready to be driven again. Marvellous workmanship from the men of PDL Autoworks in Kayu Ara. Prices are above market value, but you get what you pay for. No regrets. Sending my Waja to them next year if budget permits.

Nice!!! So ngam-ngam got 2 EvoMalaysia presenters with freshly painted rides.
Go for ceramic coating asap to even protect the paint job further, the left hand front fender looks darker or just the light reflex at certain angle, I just love a good well done car paint job
I've been advised you need a minimum 3 month period for the paint to settle before doing anything more drastic than a car wash. I've highlighted the fender paint mismatch to the painter, and he has offered to look at it, but I've been a little busy so have yet to take up the offer

Mr Kon, don't be mad, I just want to tell you 3 things.
1. Indeed fabulous paintwork.
2. Your car will be found out resprayed by CarlistBid and your E39 resale value maybe cut further in future.
3. Hope you can introduce more modify options for us as reference in your video such as you can remap the ECU and tune again your car to gain maximum juice from it or install the vehicle safety bar maybe also a viable option too.
For cars as old as E39, getting a respray will up its value, unless its M5 model.

Now is time to go to PREFERRED WHEEL to clean ur interior and is only few hundred bucks. You’ll get the new car feeling again. All your leather seats panel look like new and matte in color.

Kon, once the paint has fully dried, consider having a proper detailing job done. The normal post paint job polish isn’t of the same level of a proper detailing job. I probably won’t follow the hype to coat it though.

didnt you watch the video series? this was painted , sanded-flated orangepeel, painted again , then flated again and polished. Its these kind of colors that dont ''glow up'' under most lighting conditions

Kon, is it just me or does the front passenger side fender have a slightly different shade compared to the front passenger door? Honestly i hope it's just me, and that beemer is such an immaculate ride :)

Did they sand down the old paint? Will u wrap with invisible vinyl to protect your doors from ppl opening door and making dent on ur doors?

It's worth it only if you really like the car and ready to spend some money on repairs.
RM4.5k to make the exterior of the car look like it was still brand new, I think it is money well spent.
