Great video Dave. Soon, I'll be breaking out the Vinyl and Rubber Care (light orange label) as it keeps the door seals soft and supple during the winter months and won't freeze onto the door-shells leading to stuck doors. The Bumper Care has been much nicer to use since AutoGlym changed the formula from green to clear, and it is more durable than some and leaves a nice finish. The star of the range, for me, is the under-rated and absolutely phenomenal big 5 litre tin of Radiant Wax Polish. I never see it ever being reviewed anywhere. It's amazing on alloy wheels, increasing the 'metal-flake' effect behind the clear coat.

Great video. I first used Autoglym Super Resin Polish in 1990 on a Merc 230E I bought that was filthy - I remember I had to wash it twice before I could even start cleaning it properly. It was the first polish I'd used where I could feel the difference in the paint. Fast Glass is great - I use it to clean the screen and plastics on my bike too.

But they simply don’t have the durability, performance, environmental safety or value for money of other products such as Bilt Hamber. Fast Glass would be more forgiving to use in the colder months because it won't evaporate so quickly. It cuts through that dirty film very well. When it's warmer outside, I'll use your usual cost-effective and efficient 'damp towel and buff' method.
Converted to the Polar Series System last year and never looked back. Only problem is only having one (non) Autoglym cannon. Fast Glass is also superb and gives great results on the house windows too!
Nice video and you've convinced me to get the fast-glass product. I have one correction for your video though, in that Autoglym say not to get the Polar Seal on the front windscreen (I think it leads to wiper blade smearing).
Use mostly autoglym products at my work and as a professional detailer their products are extremley good especially that apc i use it as a prewash a wheel cleaner and interior cleaner very effective.

Hi Dave, if you have a ceramic coating do you need to use the polar seal? Or am I just wasting my time and money with this product? Love your videos by the way, you have helped this weekend warrior no end 👍
Great video Dave. Questions about the polar seal: is it ok to be spraying on windows and windscreens? Saw you did in this video but other people/videos say not to? Also, if I used the polar seal and then used some glass cleaner is that just negating the effect of the seal?
Hi Dave - Very interesting as I have a few of those in my garage. Whats your opinion of Diamondbrite products, always get a fancy bag full of their stuff when I change my car over. Also have you ever cleaned a caravan before and if so what products would you recommend as i have mine to clean yet with my new AVA P57 which is fantastic, thankyou.
I note Polar Blast and Polar Wash have warnings for "causes serious eye damage", Polar Seal says "causes serious eye irritation", and they all warn for skin irritation. Not a positive thing to read considering they are used via a pressure washer device that vaporises it which is then easy to breathe in or land on skin. I shall look at other similar products and see if they all say the same, because I don't like the idea of using something that seems to be so able to hurt the user.
My car has GardX on the body work and I use their products, mostly. I use Autoglym's Polar Blast and a=was wondering if I could use the Polar Wash on the car. I love your videos and have watched all of them to date, keep them coming please.
I like the polar range, the cannon is excellent, but it can be quite wasteful. If you don't use all of each fill of the cannon you either pour it away or you have to find something else to pour it into.
Hi Dave great video as always! Need some help/advice I've just bought a 7 year old car that is in great condition but I'm struggling getting what seems to be an almost cloudy film off the windscreen....I've tried all the usual cleaning products for glass but nothing is even making a dent on it can you offer any tips please 🙏
It could be either smog from the interior if someone has been vaping, or still off gassing if there is a lot of vinyl on the dash. Try using glass cleaners in cooler temperatures and out of direct sunlight first of all. After that copy the method in my glass cleaning video and it will sort it
@@epicautomotivedetailingI've cleaned the glass about 3 times inside and out even used a medium cut compound on a cloth on a small area inside and out to see if that helps and it's still the same...can only see it in sunlight hard to explain but it's like a haze...it's a model S and the windscreen has some sort of sun reflecting thing built-in so I'm wondering if it's to do with that? Thanks for the reply 👍
As soon as you got to Polar Series, I went "dear god". These 3 I did not rate at all, bought when they were new products in Halfords, and suffered through the snow foam and wash and ended up giving the polar seal away to a neighbour. Snow foam didn't do enough to even start to break down traffic film next to a citrus, the wash wasn't strong enough to again break down the film and clean the car, and the wax just was not long lasting enough, and I didn't like the water behaviour, or the finish. The foam cannon was OK, but no where near the MCCJ pro 2 AG advanced Wheel cleaner is comparable with BH wheel cleaner (and handy to have a large quantity on hand), AG SRP is a detailing staple of mine, and fast glass is just a great all rounder, exterior and interior, so they have some great products, but not all their products are great.
Got any tips for rag tops? I’ve been struggling a bit with getting all the polar blast snow foam out. I have a limited water supply (have to carry a 100L water tub to my car every time). I go through over half a tub just trying to get all the soap out of the rag top lol. Does it matter to be 100% (OCD-level) thorough with removing all the product?
good bit of kit autoglym. Easy to use for someone who struggles to drum up the motivation to do a clean as its all just there laid out easy. One question though the polar seal says not to get it on the windows, but you very much got it on the windows there. Is it glass safe or did you wipe it off screen?
All foam sealants whether it's from autoglym or any manufacturer will advise against it because of the risk of wiper juddering and driver safety. For example if you sprayed it on the windscreen and left it to dry (which shouldn't be done btw) you'd end up with a baked on sealant obstructing the drivers view which ultimately could be dangerous. If you immediately rinse it off as follows and dry the car immediately you won't have any problems. And also the fast glass is there to remove it. I've had zero issues with it on the windscreen and the same goes for infinity was express sealant, yum foam + and Ava seal and shine.
I’ve been away and only now got around to this video which I like. Your nan’s car looks fantastic, I like the look of the sealant. That said, I have a question unrelated to the products which is, do you think the car sealant along with other products car salespeople sell when buying a new car is worth it? Specifically, a friend of mine has ordered a new car and he’s been persuaded to spend £699 on what the dealer calls “Gen 3 Glasscost”. It claims to be professionally applied with a 5 year guarantee and protects against damage caused by bird lime, road grime, acid rain and traffic film. It also mentions it protects alloy wheels from harmful break dust. Have you heard of this product or do you any experience of it?
'Professionally applied' would be dealer valet on a time limit. I always decline even ceramic coating at no extra charge when offered as no way will the vehicle be prepared properly for coating. The work involved, including full decontamination, clay bar, paint chip repair, compound/polishing, degrease, needs a pro detailer (or learn to do it yourself). Even apparently high end dealers are not going to pay for that. They are in business to sell cars, and if you are persuaded to overpay for any quick sealant or coating that is a bonus for them. I could clean a car and apply a ceramic coating in 2 hours. Unfortunately, without the aforementioned steps a waste of time and coating.
@@MartinBennett-rs6thrasher Thanks for the feedback as I’m also planning to change my car and was considering it. So I understand you, it is not that’s it’s not good, it’s just not done to a high standard for the money they charge! How much would a pro detailer charge for such a job? Keep in mind this is a brand new car so I wouldn’t expect it to have any paint chips. Overall what you are saying reminds me of when I take my car for a service and they claim to provide a free car wash as part of the service and all they do is call in a mobile valet firm that moves the dirt around. I now tell them not to bother.
@@mrneutral5081You are getting the idea. Most brand new cars leave the factory with no protection, spending time around shipyard/ railway/ industrial environments, quickly attracting contamination and minor scratches, so can still require a fair amount of preparation. This surprises some people. Some luxury cars do have a clear wrap similar to some glass screen products. Shame all cars don't have that. Many coatings can only be applied by accredited detailers. Try to find a local one who can talk through the process with you, and properly advise you regarding future maintenance. Depending on the level of coating and preparation required it can easily be between £1200-£2500. Painted wheels are definitely worth ceramic coating as well, especially when new.
Another very good informative video David. Hats of to Autoglym they know how to produce good quality products. NOW....... you've had a test run on Hollies nans car with Autoglym products. When's it my turn only your mother is still banging on about cleaning our car seats.😂 Give me strength 😁. Dad 👍🍺
Looks great, top job. One question, how much would you estimate the cost per wash (retail prices) would be for Joe Bloggs (i.e. me :-) ) using these products?
@@epicautomotivedetailingthat really would make a great video. Yum Wheel foam would need to be incorporated as one of the most cost effective wheel cleaners out there.
Hi Dave any chance you could review dragons blood wheel cleaner and tar-dah tar remover by pro-kleen really good products 6 liters of dragons blood under £30 5+1 liter sprayer included including free delivery
Great products but not the cheapest. I swear by snow foam as it helps to clean plus softens grit etc so safer pre contact wash. Polar range extremely good in my view. Quick to use on those chilly days. Magma super product but won’t tackle sap so resort to a lubricated clay bar or other bespoke cleaner.
Dave what’s your opinion on the fast glass compared to your preferred way with the old chami leather? I’ve used the fast glass for a while and while I do love it the smell is definatly a strong one to say the least 😂 but I do like the finish it leaves behind, I’m soon to try your method though!
My method is king in my opinion but it's always handy having glass cleaners as backup for removing stickers on the windscreen or heavily contaminated glass from vape fog
This is a recommendation that all companies will always have to put on the bottle to protect themselves against any comeback for things like wipers juddering but the truth is it will have very little negative affect on the windscreen. If you get dilutions wrong and use too much product it will cause "very mild" juddering. Other than that it really won't have any impact
Super presentation of the Autoglym retail range of products. (There is a professional range which is worth exploring sometime too.) I have a lot of Autoglym products, and I feel that they do a good and comprehensive job. My days of trying out alternative manufacturers’ products are probably over. Thanks for covering so many individual products, and for the start-to-finish demo that linked them all together.
AG and turtle wax often do very good products at good prices but quite possibly get outdone by Meguairs and chemical guys - but that said I find Autofinesse products to be very good too
After watching this I’m really annoyed because I purchased the snow foam system and the bottle had no measurements on it. I even wrote to AG suggesting they should offer multiple bottles and caps with measurements enabling an easier process. Never heard anything back.
Excellent video,i love Autoglym products always gives me good results.A word of warning though as i have discovered Polar seal is fab stuff but not when the tempreture is going below zero as in winter time, last year i experienced this and ended up the following morning after cleaning the car day the before with my windscreen wipers in a 1 inch layer of ice and the door seals as well took ages to get it melting due to its beading properties it all collects at the bottom,so i don't advise using polar seal all over the car in winter, just my takes on this.
I've already responded to this comment so many times and I understand what the bottle says however if it's used properly eg. Rinsed immediately you don't get that problem. It's on there to protect the newbies who may let it dwell or dry
Hi could you help me thanks I am starting a new mobile valeting business in Spain only doing 2 cars a day looking for a water tank 100 litres do you think that’s enough thanks for your time as you will be busy
Hello, it's difficult because of your climate being warm most of the time meaning you need to get through more water so maybe a bigger tank would be better
It's not smeared at all though that's the thing. Provided it rinsed off immediately and thoroughly it will be ok. I've used it on my Audi last week too and same results, We had terrible weather last week it was fine 👌 honestly it's when people use it in direct sunlight it could become an issue if left on the glass
@@epicautomotivedetailing I completely stopped using the glass cleaner after I watched your water method, as the cleaner was making it smear when it rained. Last time I used the seal, idk if it made the windscreen really dry but the wiper was struggling to flow smoothly, kept hopping.

The only problem is the triggers in my opinion
Dad 👍🍺
Cheers Dad, promise soon. I got Alfa I need to start working on next week 😬
I know David. No hurry, I'll pop over when it works for us both. 🤫
Looks great, top job. One question, how much would you estimate the cost per wash (retail prices) would be for Joe Bloggs (i.e. me :-) ) using these products?
Great question one I could figure out for another video.
What pressure washer are you using in this video? Thanks.

Lol 😂, sadly not. They just next branded shoes. Don't unsub 😅
Need to try autobright
On my radar
Dave what’s your opinion on the fast glass compared to your preferred way with the old chami leather? I’ve used the fast glass for a while and while I do love it the smell is definatly a strong one to say the least 😂 but I do like the finish it leaves behind, I’m soon to try your method though!
My method is king in my opinion but it's always handy having glass cleaners as backup for removing stickers on the windscreen or heavily contaminated glass from vape fog
@@epicautomotivedetailing ahhh yes very good point!
Dave, Polar Seal is not meant to be applied directly to windscreen.
Wipers will take it off quickly enough anyway
@@jcoul1sc There's a reason Autoglym say not to apply to windscreen
@@86XFA yes and the wipers will remove it easily
What is better autoglym all purpose cleaner or infinity wax incinerator
One is a dedicated wheel cleaner, one is an all purpose cleaner.
I use the polar cannon And the msj one
Excellent video,i love Autoglym products always gives me good results.A word of warning though as i have discovered Polar seal is fab stuff but not when the tempreture is going below zero as in winter time, last year i experienced this and ended up the following morning after cleaning the car day the before with my windscreen wipers in a 1 inch layer of ice and the door seals as well took ages to get it melting due to its beading properties it all collects at the bottom,so i don't advise using polar seal all over the car in winter, just my takes on this.
Thank you, to be honest that applies to every car cleaning product in the winter after winter, sealants actually help prevent ice forming 👌
Not supposed to use on windscreens. Says on bottle I believe.
Polar seal smells amazing
Autoglym make good products 👌
Nothing wrong with the stuff, plus always in Halfords
Be mindful not to use the Polar Seal on the windscreen. It can cause wiper judder😉
All sealants including glaco can cause juddering
Never had any problems with glaco causing juddering, I must admit. @@epicautomotivedetailing
Great video! Seems a bit like a paid promotion, but good to know AGs products.
Though - Nan needs new tires. Damn they're rotted. 😬
Thanks, yeah that's why I clicked the paid promotion button when I uploaded it 🙏
@@epicautomotivedetailing Sorry, must've missed that. That's on me!
Polar seal should be avoided on the windscreen at all cost!!!
I believe it does say on the product instructions
I've already responded to this comment so many times and I understand what the bottle says however if it's used properly eg. Rinsed immediately you don't get that problem. It's on there to protect the newbies who may let it dwell or dry
@@epicautomotivedetailingoh, wasn't aware of that. Was planning on avoiding the windows.

Hi thanks do you recommend any that’s on Amazon thanks
Autoglym all day long, even use it on the house windows too,
Foam sealers block foams cannons
Clean your bottle, fill with water and run it through. Voila, cleared foam cannon 👌🏼
Never used anything else been using autoglym for over 40 years on all my cars motorcycle nothing comes close
Auto glym all the way
I've used the fast glass before I and for myself I wouldn't recommend it I simply don't like it
It depends on the environment when you apply. Many glass cleaners can be a nightmare if it's sunny or hot 👌
I find that fast glass is the best product ever for cleaning glass and leaves no smears at all, whether used in sun or shade.
The seal & glass cleaner will make the windscreen smear like fuck when it rains, tell your nan to be careful 👍
Was this a sponsored video? Didn't see a single negative about any of products I don't think
Jeez I literally put "paid promotion" so yes it was a sponsored video... This wasn't a review either. It was a product feature
@@epicautomotivedetailing I didn't see that so apologies my mistake
Bilt hamber the end.
