I like Standard mode more since it allows video image enhancement which will make videos look cleaner and more detailed especially on TH-cam. Plus there's Auto creator mode for apps like Netflix so everything still looks as the creator intended.
I find the image enhancement tends to show artificats more in videos since it's sharpening everything, and also can see the image enhancement trying to sharpen the vid while I'm watching it which can look kinda bad. I'm sure some content can look better with it on but for the most part, having it off gives the cleanest video quality and less artifacting.
☆☆☆☆ Never owned Xperia phones before , going by positive reviews I would like to give it a try by ordering Xperia 1 IV which is currently on the pipelines. Inclusion of following will persuades me to switch from Samsung to SONY, ☆ integration/incorporation of SD slot expandable memory, ☆Headphone Jack, to edit or insertion of sound tracks into video also using proper headphones instead of gimmicky bluetooth ones. ☆Sony Apps and 70-105mm telephoto. 🔥 I hope SONY incorporates Variable apature & a Bigger sensor ( closer to 1 inch) Or a set of faster lenses to help in low light situations, these would certainly blow all other competitions out of water and hopefully Sony would takes the Crown in smart phones.
I'd say a 7. It's gets me through a day of use but that's it. Which is honestly fine. It's no v60,. But it falls right in line with the s21 ultra from the same usage patterns for me.
@@SpardasTechReviews How heavy do you game? I see quite abit of games on your phone(MCOC, personal favourite). So is that a 7 with heavy , moderate or light gaming?
It's a 7 with gaming. And mcoc once you turn all the settings up in the game enhancer is by far the best performing on any phone I've played. If you need more longevity with gaming hs power control is your best friend.
if you make jpeg + raw photos and you check them on the pc you see a lot quality difference? i saw sometimes that jpegs are more sharp in the pro modes than the raw. seems to a bit dissappointment of sony raw photo capturing. dont know you checked upon that? i didnt yet at least.
Plus also keep in mind that when Sony brings a new phone out they do it in small batches so it may be sold out for a long ass time. Hence why I'm just now getting to the 1 III which is more easy to get now
@@SpardasTechReviews Thanks Buddy. I love the idea of 4k 120Hz for Netflix and Gaming. Be a huge improvement from my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Hopefully they upgrade to 5000-5500mah battery next model.
I feel the brightness is good enough. It's not the brightest screen by any means but from what I've heard from people that had the 1 ii and went to the 1 III it's definitely an improvement.
1 is a podcast app 1 is Sony's stock player for my local files 1 is for TH-cam music since I still use it because it has all my music and a other is apple music because I use that for hifi streaming
It gets hot. Doesn't overheat. That would lead to a snapdragon 810 level debacle. Plus not all phones with the 888 handle it the same. It's not like the new apple chips where no matter which iPhone I mess with it gets hot. For example. The ultra just let's the phone get hot to the point I'd say it overheats. The OnePlus 9 tends to stay tame. Whereas the 1 III can get hot, but unless I'm gaming heavily, or recording a bunch of video back to back it's not nearly as bad as the ultra was where I'd have to just put the phone down.
i wish it was a bit more user friendly with its software though. the pro apps could have for example toggle buttons and more explanation. for the rest i missed it that with the basic mode with hdr on video recording that you could not make photos at the same moment. also while making a video that you can not switch between lenses also not selfie camera. it would be very nice. for the rest the selfie camera is a bit lacking in my opinion. to counter that sony could (or i can myself when i found the right material) make a small like mirror kinda thing on the back so making selfies. or selfies with a nice background with the good lenses a bit less easy.
I've had the Xperia 1 mark ii for about a year and a half. And I've absolutely loved it. It's been a brilliant phone

Pls how can I use 2 Sims on Xperia 1iii
Should I buy Xperia 1 mark 3?
Best advice is NOT to upgrade to Android 12. It looks like ass on Sony UI and they ruined some features.
Does your network jump all over the place!
No
What phone did you use to film this video?
It looks terrible given the amount of fringing and "sticky pixels"
If I'm to guess probably the OnePlus 9 but I really don't know.
How would you rate the battery performance? For day of usage for example.
I'd say a 7. It's gets me through a day of use but that's it. Which is honestly fine. It's no v60,. But it falls right in line with the s21 ultra from the same usage patterns for me.

@@SpardasTechReviews thanks for the info 👌🏽👌🏽
i have this phone and my one of my complaints is that it overheats a lot
Well any phone with a snapdragon 888 is gonna do that.
Heating ≠ overheating

The difference I see between raw and jpegs are never really with sharpness it's more with the reproduction of color and exposure.
jpgs have sharping applied. raw doesn't.
What the name of the case you using
Caseology vault
Should I get this phone or hold out until next years mk4?
I'd say wait to see what the official specs are. If they're enough if an upgrade over the mk3 for you go with the mk4
