Spoiler: Funnily enough, it actually wasn't obvious when I first played the game. It happens so late in the game, that basically the whole game had already been spoiled, so I thought there was no way that that would be the spoiler warning point. I thought that the hall exiting the baths was supposed to be the white hallway.
Since this is a permanent thing that you can't redo, I'll tell you that you missed it. If you tried to exit the shrine of Diana before shooting that wasp nest, you would have had a conversation with Desius where he basically explains that he's betraying you, he locked the door, and if you give him the golden bow he'll let you out. He's lying. The only way out is the way you took through the floor.
@@zalaweyker8007 No, I think it does, you just need to get a regular bow from the assassin again. I swear I saw someone do it, or come close to doing it. I suppose I could be wrong though
In the skyrim mod version of the palace, you read a journal which ends in BEHIND YOU. And i remember getting absolute chills and turning around to find a lich king just floating behind me. Scared the hell out of me
Interesting that it didn't give you the horror content warning for the golden bow quest. I presume it's because you have hints turned off. The golden bow quest is entirely optional because of this. Everything you can solve due to completing this quest (such as figuring out the treatment for rheumatism) has another solution somewhere else in the city.
Don't worry too much about the "white hallway" when you reach it there will be no doubt in your mind that you've reached it

I mean, technically you can redo it, you just have to redo the Naevia stuff too
@@peterlewis2178 pretty sure the option doesn't exist once you have the golden bow

I haven't been a consistent Ryan watcher like this since Valheim and aLttP! We're so back, babyyy 🥳
What a wild turn this game takes right here! Thanks for another great installment :D
Hope you feel better soon Ryan!! I'm really enjoying this series so far!
POOP STICK!!! YESSSSS!! Like a butt spatula but better, because it's for communal use! 😮
Fortune smile on you, brother!
Fun fact: aspirin is derived from willow bark!
your the first person ive watched play this game who skips the dialogue with Desius and goes straight to shooting the bee hive

i’m glad you didn’t miss this like i did. i’m a certified desius hater so i wasn’t going along with any of his plans 🤣
I love Duli!
Omg that flower… maybe it was because I played with a controller, but it took me an ABSURD amount of time to land on that island 💀
What a great level. I wonder if you could gild the water moss at the feet of the statues, trapping them. That would be clever design
You can
You can. It’s the intended solution.
