We camped at expo from Thursday until Monday and then hit Washington Natl Forest. Beautiful area up there. Enjoyed the video as always. Thanks for sharing.

Y’all’s adventures are great. We went to the expo on Fri. We were done by two. So we decided to jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway to head south towards Fla. Would have been great to have met you guys. Looks like fat bottom girl is still doing great. Sure miss our Jeep and our own adventures. Till next time!!

What a great video you always knock it out of the park with them. Where about in Virginia off the park way is that trail you found that look like a fun one. How could I find some trails like this in North Carolina?

@@CoddiwompleOverland Saturday morning I drove straight up after getting off the night shift. Waited until they let us in a bit after 08:00. Got to meet Mr & Mrs TrailRecon. Stayed till about noon. So disappointed I didn’t run into you guys.
Jenn and I would be very interested in going along on some trips/adventures with you all. Normally we’re solo but interested in adventures/ exploration with other like minded families. 2020 very capable TRD off-road. Have hit the North Carolina Cape Lookout National Seashore, LBL, and even Moab based on your videos. Returned from Moab last weekend. Anyway, would enjoy meeting y’all. We’re in Louisville.
@@CoddiwompleOverland well if no evidence of a railroad it must have been a WPA works. It obviously took a lot of labor and $$ to build but that what they did in the 1930's. enjoy your videos!

My Class C motorhome has been on some trails like that but the tunnel would have been a problem :(

The sliders are from White Knuckle off-road. They've taken everything I've thrown at them and have held up well.

Thank you! It was Forest service road 1881 close to White Oak Flats. You can find roads like this by using the MVUM layer in the GaiaGPS app.

What source for content music do you recommend? I tried one popular one on trial but it was too modern for the most part.
We pull from all different music, we don't use just 1. We did a few free trials till we found a few we liked best.

Oldham county family next door. 19 & 21 Wranglers and got back in Aug from a 3 week trek out west. So much to see that we’ll be returning.

Who built the tunnel? Was it an old rail road or perhaps a WPA project in the 1930's?
I'm not sure. It went underneath the Blue Ridge Parkway.
