Jen, You’re a certified HomeFry - I’ve seen you sporting the pin. You’ll never be hated. I’ll love you from here to the moon and back. I love it when someone can risk being overtaken with the emotion within a beautifully written, arranged and performed song. It’s not nerdy or corny. It’s human. I’ve enjoyed many reactions with you, now. And I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you (he said with a head dominant voice, on an Ab4 note - well, Ab3, I guess.) ❤❤, Ed Dunn
And, their newest…”LISTEN TO THE MUSIC”….. a cover from the Doobie Brothers, circa 1972….was a big hit then…&, the guys made it even Better…of course….&, Adam was Stellar….& Austin’s lead was Perfect❤️‼️❤️. It’s a Feel Good song to make your day 🙃❤️‼️
As a drummer I am always amazed at how good Adam Rupp is but especially when he does his brush work as that just sounds too good. He is able to get every single nuance of the instruments and you have to keep reminding yourself it is not being played :D Edit: Just in case no-one else mentions this the young girl in th3 video is also the mother at the end passing on the teddy to her son
Even with a female guest, opening act Maggie Baugh, Austin sings the highest notes. Home Free is always generous to their opening acts. Texas Hill and Jeffrey East opened for them in past years.
What a beautiful song. Home Free did a great rendition. This one gets me in the feels. Nice to be introduced to another country talent in Maggie Baugh. She has a really nice voice & enjoy her playing the violin/fiddle. The guys are great about sharing the spotlight with other artists. Dolly Parton originally recorded & performed this song with Kris Kristofferson in the 2012 movie "Joyful Noise". The following year, she re-recorded the tune with Willie Nelson.
Just like Home Free, I never get tired of listening to their music, nor do I get tired of listening to your reactions! Listen to the music is another song they covered recently..A very feel good tune..I hope you have a great day!!😊
I had seriously considered going to Tim’s website to pay for him to do this song for me in memory of my daughter who passed away in 2018 at the age of 32. I sang this song for her daily (and nightly). And now they came out with this… it just brings me to tears. Love you to the moon and back my Angel, Always.
To me, Jen, there's only one thing better than listening to Home Free - and that's to watch and listen to you react to them. There is no doubt you are a huge fan (a mega Home Fry), with the amazing technical ability to quickly hear the individual elements of their music that the rest of us hear initially beautifully combined, and then you dissect them into discussion pieces that gives us all a new way to listen to and appreciate their incredible music. Please don't ever apologize for geeking out the way you do - it's inciteful, it's so fun to watch you react, and it's a gift to all of us. I listen to a lot of reactors - you are one of few that I'm subscribed to, and look forward to watching every time. Thank you for who you are and what you do. Love, hugs, and respect to you. 💗🤗✨ PS. And I'm holding out for that day when Home Free and Jennifer Glatzhofer record something together. 💗
As you've found out that's Miss Maggie Baugh she's a great young upcoming singer and Home Free invited her to join them on tour with them and I highly recommend checking out her channel. As always great reaction.
i was hoping you would get to this song, you did a perfect job. you always point out little things i miss. was such a warm song. for a change of pace they dropped a new one ( listen to the music) .Auston killed it Adam Rupp is insane. you might want to get a seat belt to keep you in your chair. so much in the back. love your reactions please keep it up,cant wait for the next one.
For the last three years I really haven't listened to any other group. Just Home Free and their guests like today with Maggie. They are wholesome and humble and flat out can sing. What privilege it is to listen to them routinely make my day. Maggie will tour with one of the best groups to travel and hope she enjoys the ride with the finest group of men who can flat out sing..........
This is really beautiful and sweet!! Home Free and Maggi Baugh what a great combination. Really so wonderful. What I find so beautiful is when you have your headphones on, you recognize all the great voices separately, even though they sing in such awesome harmony. Really beautiful lead, but also the background vocal which gives it such a feel-good feeling. Each voice gives a certain value to the song. The vocal percussion is so good, not to mention the violin playing. Everything is perfect. The video reminds me of my oldest child/daughter. She also had a stuffed animal from birth. Now she's 33 and she still has that stuffed animal. Those memories brought me a tear when I heard this song. How time flies when I look at my four children. All four grown up. My loves whom I love so much. From here to the moon and back!
Home Free does it again... I love when they have others featured with them as it expands their sound and always makes for a great performance. Loved you analysis as usual... Great Job Jen!
Such a sweet and tender song! Tim's tone is so gentle it feels like a vocal hug. Maggie shines in both her vocals and her violin skills. Austin drops in from the heavens with his clear vocals that just make a person melt. Then Rob, Adam, and Chance just fill in all the gooey fillings in the background. The storyline was perfect. Home Free can pull emotions out of us in every video. That's their super power! Great reaction and breakdown! ❤
Miss Jen this just so beautiful & loving.....it is what I needed the day this dropped. I was in such a bad mood, and this changed everything.....loved your analytics as usual
Thanks for the liking of my Dolly/Home Free collaboration comment on Home Free's original video in the middle of your reaction! That was fun. I always enjoy your reactions.
Great reaction! I am not gonna lie... I love Maggie's voice and what she brought to this song. And I absolutely loved what Austin did after the bridge. This song is one of my new favorites. It's just so lovely. Tha k you for your reaction.
Great reaction as usual. The song makes me miss the younger years of my grown daughters. I still love them and their kids from here to the moon and back. I agree with those who have encouraged you to soon do “Listen to the Music.”
I wish I still had babies to sing this to. It would make a wonderful lullaby. I sang, "No one's Gonna Harm You" to my grands and great grands. Great breakdown, as always, Jen.
Now I know who Maggie is. A beautiful rendition😎. Just ordered my Home Free tickets for a September 25th performance IN MY HOME TOWN!! She will be performing with the boys. Thank you Jennifer.
You are a nut. You not only give interesting information, you are entertaining at the same time. This is an absolutely beautiful version of this song. The guys never disappoint. Maggie adds something special but I would love to hear them do this with Dolly. Can't wait for your next one!
What a wonderful song. Tim's voice is so beautiful and Maggie sounds wonderful too. The harmonies are once again phenomenal. Love these guys. Great reaction as always!
They did a fantastic job with this version of this song. This is a song written by Dolly Parton for a movie called Joyful Noise. You should look up her version. Maggie Baugh is going to be going on tour with Home Free soon. I always enjoy listening to your analysis, thank you.
I LOVE when the guys sing the "do do do" bell-type tones in the background 🔔 I've never been able to see HF in concert but my hubby surprised me with tickets to see all 6 of them in September. I am SO excited❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
I loved this song in the movie “Joyful Noise” when Dolly Parton sang it with Kris Kristofferson. Home Free has again come out with a great arrangement and video. Miss Baugh is a really nice addition to the song. Thank you so much for your reaction!
What a wonderful cover of this song. Home Free + Maggie Baugh did such an awesome job. Great job breaking this one down Jen, including explaining all of them "A floors." I always wondered what note that one was, particularly. 😆 Such a relaxing, feel good song. Looking forward to the next one, as usual!
Such a beautiful song!!! I didn’t see the version with Dolly & Kris Kristofferson-will definitely have to watch the movie. I think the only thing that could have come close to making this any better would be for #JenikaMarion to play the violin, & for Rob or Adam’s wives to be in the video with their kids! You know, sort of keep it all in the “Home Free Family”? Either way, another incredible job by our #HomeFreeGuys, as well as by #MaggieBaugh! Well done, & a beautiful message. @JenniferGlatzhofer Great reaction as well. Btw, you have a beautiful voice yourself!!! Have you considered 1. Contacting #_theAustinBrown and/or #TimFoust and doing a Zoom interview with them & posting it? They’ve done sometimes hour+ long interviews with some other reactors, & would probably do one with you! 2. It would be so cool if you could do a song & video with our guys!!! They often do videos with others, & often do their separate parts in their individual cities/homes where they live, in their personal in-home studios, or on green screen, then their producer, Darren Rust, puts the parts together! You should consider it! We’d love it! Welcome to the Home Free Family! 🫶🏻 #HomeFryForLife
You will notice every song that home Free sings the clarity of the words and the meaning behind them is so fully expressed and understandable every cover that they take, you fully understand what the original artist was trying to say even more than that original artist they just have almost a supernatural ability to allow you to hear the words for the first time and with that get the actual meaning of the song laser focused into your brain it's amazing
Oh my goodness, I always learned so much from your channel as you break down how artists achieve certain effects or chords that are being pulled together etc. I love it and thank you! Today I was surprised that at 8:25-ish in the video you focused on the chord progression upward and yet my ear tuned into the progression down to the deep low notes that were sung and held for a few seconds. I found myself rewinding just to hear it again. I feel this is a compliment to you, of sorts, as I’ve started recognizing more parts of what I’m hearing in songs instead of just hearing the sums 😊
You did a super job, Jenn! Always interesting for the music lover in me to get a lesson about the subtle things that make my favorite group shine. The word that I kept waiting for you to use but didn’t was LULLABY. That’s what this song was to me. Love this one! ❤️🙂
Absolutely love it Jenn! :) Especially when you get "caught-up" in HF ... And we love to see it -- and understand. You do point things out that are easily missed -- only because they are so good. Appreciate ya girl. Be Safe
This is such a chill beautiful song.. I still have my stuffed tiger from when I was a kid, Toni the tiger from a Sambo restaurant lol. Maggie Baugh, the featured artist is incredible, not only with her singing but her violin playing too.
Awesome nerdy reaction Jennifer! This is what we came for (another song reference for you) 😁 So do we need to decree that forever more an A "floor" is an A flat 4? 😆 I wasn't concentrating as well as I usually do, the cute little girl was distracting me. And then she grew up and had a son and passed on the teddy! Hmm ... the jacket ... how do we get that jacket for Jennifer? 😊
On some real talk, you DEFINITELY need to check out Maggie’s channel! I’ve been friends with her for six years and she is so unbelievably talented and sweet! Maggie Baugh is well on her way to becoming the next Carrie Underwood.
Being as musically untalented as I am, I don't know how much is actually getting through to me (beyond I like it). Your joy at hearing it is unmistakable however. You literally light up the room.
That was a beautiful song! I didn't really pay much attention when you said "floor" because I just figured you were making up your own words again. :) Always enjoyable to watch your reactions, analysis and your covers.
Such a sweet song. Maggie has a real pretty voice. Loved the video, the moon and the violin. Austin sang higher than Maggie didn’t he?! It’s a sweet, sweet song by Dolly Parton. Home Free did it beautifully. Great reaction Jen!😍
you need to check out just how good Maggie is with a fiddle search Maggie Baugh Charlie Daniels The Devil went down to Georgia - she was so young and held her own with the Master. Someone should give her a golden fiddle
Morissette‘s ‚power‘ first take from recording session from July 20th is really fun to watch ! Her vocal performance is awesome as usual and it is extremely entertaining to see her husband Dave Lamar in the background shaking his head in disbelief several times while Mori seems to be very satisfied with herself and is having a lot of fun. @
Home Free blends well with Maggie, who presented a very Dolly like sound... Based on the snipets that you sang while explaining, I would love to hear you cover this song, also.
Jennifer!!! Where have you been, I was worried about you?😆 I loved when they introduced Maggie during the vocals as she sang with the group, but when she started playing the fiddle she was alone on the dock giving homage to the fact that Home Free is still an A Capella group. Home Free has come out with a new cover from the Doobie Brothers called "Listen to the Music." Do not drink any coffee before this one, as it is a pure pick-me-up. Jenn, have you thought about having a page that purchases you a coffee. I am not in a financial position to join Patreon pages, but I would love to buy you a coffee or three... If that's ok with Jacob. 😂
Please check out Maggie’s solo stuff! She’s incredibly talented! “Drinking to the Broken Hearts”, “Think About Me”, and her new single “Seein’ Somebody”
We subscribe to your channel because we want to hear you break down what we are hearing. Stop, rewind, explain as much and as often as you like. More may even be better. Not all of us have headphones and not all of us have the musical background and training that you do. I just know it's called music, but not what I've actually been hearing. So thank you for an excellent explanation. I like the nuances that you catch.
Hey Jen, I actually pick this song to react, please react to: Listen to the Music by Home Free, because to me, absolutely best song for them even the mouth fill percussion by Adam Rupp sounds accurate drum set and the blend ( Bassline) by Tim Foust is absolutely best Bassline that I ever heard also the killer harmony from the background.
And ofcourse"Listen To The Music"!
Jen,

We subscribe to your channel because we want to hear you break down what we are hearing. Stop, rewind, explain as much and as often as you like. More may even be better. Not all of us have headphones and not all of us have the musical background and training that you do. I just know it's called music, but not what I've actually been hearing. So thank you for an excellent explanation. I like the nuances that you catch.
Maggie is gonna tour with the guys later this year*
Hey Jen, I actually pick this song to react, please react to: Listen to the Music by Home Free, because to me, absolutely best song for them even the mouth fill percussion by Adam Rupp sounds accurate drum set and the blend ( Bassline) by Tim Foust is absolutely best Bassline that I ever heard also the killer harmony from the background.
