    Dr. Lynn Kuo, you are also fantastic at this musical computer editing as well! But, I have Windows PC, NOT Apple Computer, therefore,
    is there any way you can do the same "How To: MULTI-SCREEN Music video," both same person playing Violin and playing piano accompaniment at once, on a Windows PC Laptop version, please? Because... I really don't know this and want to try, as there are almost none available on youtube help videos... Is there any way, Dr. Lynn Kuo... Please? Thank you so much...

      @@violynnkuo Lynn, So I followed your instructions and got the video on 3 - 4 screens. But unfortunately my audio is not quite in sync -by a few frames. The vocal audio comes in before the video section showing the singer!.. I can't seem to sync this -do I need to start all over?

      @@janshapiro7068 Hmm, I searched for a comment a viewer had once left about correcting a discrepancy between audio and video but I can’t seem to find it. 😞.
      Perhaps Google “how to correct audio and video getting out of alignment in iMovie”. I know there’s a TH-cam tutorial about it somewhere because a viewer used it once!

    Thanks for your videos to introduce me to iMovie so I can post my guitar learning progress to TH-cam.

    Thank you SO much for this video Lynn, it was so helpful! I always wondered if you could even do split screen in iMovie and I've been wanting to make this kind of video for a long time. I'm definitely going to use these tips :) Btw I love the violin, I've played with a violinist for a long time, it's so much fun! Keep up the good work 🙂

    When your editing the av and or audio are you just trimming it to get it synced? Also the distortion on the audio is that because it isnt recorded seoeratly and mixed befire hand? Im not critusizing just want to make sure i understand.....good video quite useful cheers

    • @violynnkuo
      @violynnkuo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You might have to adjust the positioning of your audio track in addition to trimming the audio (assuming you recorded audio and video in separate devices).
      And yes, I didn’t do any mixing beforehand. Please adjust your audio as you see fit. 🙂
      Thanks for watching!

    Thank you so much. I'm doing my first ever split screen video on IMovie, and you walked me through it. The only thing I haven't quite got is the micro adjustments with timing the two videos; couldn't quite catch how you did that, but I'll look again.

    The digi piano sounds off for some reason..oh it must be the tone you chose. It's a bit fiddly getting it to sync. The app should allow cropping whilst on full screen. Anything to make the process less time consuming. Please note, your voice goes quieter at times as you're talking yourself though it, making it harder to hear. I just want to be able to do everything on one device, that is, my phone.

    • @violynnkuo
      @violynnkuo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. You can certainly record the footage on your phone but to do a split screen, iMovie will have to be used on a computer.
