I have ordered the Enyaq 85X, however this car would have suited me fine, Skoda in my view are pushing forwards faster than the competitors, well done Skoda
I’ve had my Enyaq Sportline 85X for two months now and love it. This Elroq would have done though. I’m single and 65, so I don’t really need such a big car, but I wanted space inside. Perhaps, when I change in 3 years, I’ll have an Elroq. Or perhaps whatever the enyaq has become by then.
Great first look, Matthias. The Elroq looks very nice, with many nice features. However, the trunk is too small for us, so we'll keep our Enyaq :-) But as a second , more city friendly car, it could be a hit (if you need it ) . Good job and looking forward to seeing more Elroq (and Enyaq) videos from you
I have an Enyaq Coupe 85 with software version 5.2 (according to the app 5.0), hope I get 5.4 soon because the speed warning annoys me as the sign recognition is often wrong. You have the best video about the Elroq, none of the other reviews I saw mentioned what is new in the software and what they fixed like the scratchy gloss black, or didn't fix like the reflection in the windscreen.
I have a '21 Enyaq 80 with 21" wheels, heat pump and a good spec in predictable silver. I ordered as soon as the books opened in November '20 and the wait until July '21 was painful! Still a great car, holds it's own among the competition today. Enjoy!
Very nice - but we still have a big bright screen right in the driver's peripheral vision at night - The first thing I do on long night journeys is turn it right down or even cover it... turning it off is very irritating when all the controls are on the screen instead of on real buttons but I prefer not to have my night vision ruined for the narrow fast lanes we have here.
I like the front and the interior. I don't like the black plastic parts below the doors and around the wheels as well as the backside bumper. I hope that the Sportline version will have these in colour. I currently own a Karoq with also all the black plastic. Don't want it again. Thanks for showing us the Elroq! 💪
Had to choose two cars out of three and decided not picking sport line but you can see a blue sport line in other videos of the ELROQ. Unfortunately you will find the same plastic parts on the SportLine
@@electrifiedspeicher I found it indeed and unfortunately it is. That's too bad as I don't like the plastic parts....the Karoq also has the Sportline and there it is not like that. Not sure why Skoda did not make the difference here. I'll check it out in real life somewhere this year. Let's see.
Do you know when the optional tech deck lighting strip will be available to order for any Elroq-models? I love the 1st edition car because it has all the optional features come delivery, however only missing is Intelligent Parking Assist and Self Parking Training & a desired sunroof. 🙂
Hi. Nice presentation of the elroq. What I also would like to hear is the comparison between Enyaq and Elroq. Listen to your video, it sounds like it is only a matter of size. But Enyaq is a higher segment isn't it? I would like to hear more about this. Thank you
As soon as possible I will do such a comparison. Was not possible because they only showed the ELROQ in the studio to me so I could not place my ENYAQ beside the ELROQ ;)
Especially now, when the famed winged arrow basically celebrates 100th birthday. The shot through chicken (also known as the half of the wings) was first penned by manager in Pilsen, Tomáš Maglič, in 1923, first used 1925, systematically used since 1926. Laurin and Klement was bought by Škoda in 1925, Nazism and communism divided them again, they didn't reunite. VW's Škoda and the biggest Škoda companies in Pilsen agreed to share the logo and around 2009, the Pilsner folks suggested they no longer needed it. Under the PPF ownership, this promise was turned into a joke because the trams, trolley buses from Škoda Transportation have the logo everywhere you look! So it seems we are going in the exact opposite direction than agreed, the Pilsner companies will depend on the logo more than the VW's subsidiary.
I would not say that the ELROQ is more noisy in the interior than my own ENYAQ. Maybe it was due to the wet test track that it sound louder. I would say ENYAQ and ELROQ don't have much differences here
My wife wants a smaller car. Why only 150mm shorter than the Enyaq? I think in the uk prices from £30,000 is too high. The Chinese are coming with very interesting EV’s at far better pricing.
Face design and light signature is boring. Looks like many other new cars with split headlights. You commented on the turning circle. Isen the turning angle and wheel base the same as Enyaq? But you are used to an awd Enyaq with a bigger turning circle. Ise6nt that why you noticed it?
So, basically we are looking at a downsized Enyaq. Similar design, same platform, identical interior, same (basically problematic) software. Nothing really new. The same width is an issue in my opinion. Spacious inside, but problematic in tight parking spaces. People looking for a compact car might be put off because of that. The Elroq will attract a new buyer category though as long as it stays competitive, now other good EV’s are introduced at similar pricing levels.
Great video, I really like the Elroq, I think it will be the car to beat in that segment. I have a '21 Enyaq 80 which I still love!

You won’t be disappointed..it’s magnificent in every way … I have mine from Feb 24…
It appears to be a leader in the segment 👍

Wow, I like the looks way more than I thought I would. First time a "futuristic" SUV EV design is actually quite good.
Thank you. I am looking forward to hearing about this comparison along with Elroq vs Cupra Born and Kia EV3

Really like the front end and the new Skoda badging. Still waiting for my 85x Sportline with MAXX pack, mid November apparently 🤞🏻

Nice car. Big fan of your videos 👍🏻. Locking forward to se it in real live, and the pricing i DK
Me too. Recording it in a studio and driving on a test track does not live up to the real world experience

As of now Skoda did not provided that information so I cannot tell you. Sorry :(

Boot space is 100 liters more than a golf. Not small
The front of the Elroque looks like a Hyundai Kona...some weird choices were made at Skodas design department.
Do you have sneak peek? How does the 2025 Skoda Enyaq look? Similar to Elton?
Es sieht aus wie eine Mischung aus Enyaq 2021, Elton John und Enron.
In the interior, did they fix the tiny cup holders? Can they fit a standard bike bottle now?
Still the same as in the ENYAQ so you won't fit a bike bottle in there :/
Great review, what is your day job, understand if you don't want to share
I'm a product manager and business architect who worked for several industries like automotive, banking, energy and software
i light the gloss console in my enyaq vrs , makes it look
classy .........................
nice looking car though ...........
Skoda should be proud of their heritage and logo. It is a poor choice to skip the logo.

It seems that Elroq is noisier than Enyaq. How would you compare overall comfort and noise level particularly?

@@electrifiedspeicherI would agree. I drove it the day before when it was dry and it definitely was the same noise level as the Enyaq.
Do they say anything about when SW v5.4 will come to 2024 Enyaq's (e.g. 85)? I hate that freaking button at every start.
Simply because I do not know when this will come to the ENYAQ...only thing I heard about is that it should
@@electrifiedspeicher Thanks Matthias!
Any camper mode in the newest sw?
No camp mode in SW 5.4
i thought Enyaq is a little to big and boring car so i wait for smaller and Elroq i consider to buy compare with EV3 i think RWD is more fun

That might be as I have only few experience with a RWD ENYAQ
@@electrifiedspeicher According to specs the Elroq 85 has a 30cm smaller turning circle than Enyaq 85. So just a little better.
Its too expensive. The 1ST edition cost the same as the Enyaq 85 Premium..

Why is the video only showing upper half of the car…bad job
Sorry to see they kept that totally ridiculous center console... it is completely useless !
the back is sooooo boring
Why is it in English?
You can watch it in German on my German channel "Speicher elektrisiert"
Did the presenter run a marathon, he sounds out of breath.
No, the presenter had caught a flu and a bad night with less sleep when he reached the studio to do the recording at 0630 in the morning
