This story has always been so upsetting due to the fact that 4 women and girls were slaughtered and dumped into the woods as if they didn’t matter. I hope that the forth child is eventually identified but as you said, her mother was probably a victim of Rasmussen as well. What a POS monster her was.

Thanks to advancement in familial DNA they can hopefully get everyone their identities back. They have been getting Doe's their names finally over the last couple of years.

@@yahnservices1978 how am i evil for telling you to stfu for wanting to start some dumb gender war in a comment section regarding murder victims. if you want to start one you should probably come with facts. men are more likely to get murdered yes, but 1. who is the perpetrator in almost each case where a man/men were killed, 2. women are killed more often for not only revenge but also sexual pleasure. it is the ultimate form of dehumanization, to both kill a human and get pleasure out of it. which is what i think this comment is referring to when they say ‘slaughtered and dumped into the woods as if they didn’t matter.’ statistically, women are just more likely to be brutally murdered by a sadist looking for “fun”. men are more likely to be murdered by someone looking for vengenance/revenge i.e. gang activity. in this individual case i believe the killer was mainly looking to “hide” the fact that he had a girlfriend with three children, however it is quite obvious that this man did get a ‘kick’ out of killing them & getting worldwide attention for his crime

Terry Rasmussen was a monster!!! To kill women and innocent children, dismember them, then throw them away, is beyond comprehension. He must have been a terrifying person with a personality that would have been remembered. I hope the unidentified little girl and her mother are named in the future. What a terrible story this is..thank you for telling it with your usual respect and grace.

I find it heartbreaking when no one is looking for the victims. Some people have terrible families. Some are just assumed to have reached their destination and lost touch. I have looked at the John and Jane Doe lists where they put identifiable clothing and details. There are so many. And when it’s children you just wonder how no one can be looking. Why aren’t systems in place to check? But it’s just not practical financially.

The last I heard is that her ancestory led to a certain area. I sincerly hope that one day, her, and er mother will be reunited, and buried together.

Also I’m curious, what are some interesting things you find that shouldn’t be in the woods? I found something really disturbing one time. About a week after a man chased me thru the woods as a child we found his “freaky porno tent” & it’s been added to the list of things in my life that I can’t un-see.

Then a few weeks later we were hiking to the reservoir to go fishing & found a tent. Inside this tent was HUNDREDS of pages from really graphic porn, they’d been stuck to the inside of the walls of the tent. They’d had their eyes scratched out & really vulgar shit written on them. I only saw it for a second & I was just a little girl but it’s been burned into my memory.

Thank you for the hard videos. I support your work. But it's hard to click like. It seems so bad to like such content. So, it's not the real subject but your hard work to expose and educate us about evil.

There is a lake out in Nevada, quite close to Vagas, where the water level has dropped significantly over the recent years. As the water is now so low, they've found a few people in barrels from the 1970's & the theory is that these are Mob hits. They think there might be a lot more out there. They've found another set of bones too but think they might be from someone who just drowned in the lake. 😮

Lots of background on Banner or Jensen or Rasmussen or whatever name he went by during 1980 thru to his death in prison in the 2000's.

This has been a horrific and heartbreaking case for so so long. It seems like every couple of years something else comes up or info changes. I remember when they thought it was just the 2. And then unbelievably they found 2 more. Children! This was carried out by the most evil monster/s. My heart goes out to any family and I pray God has them all under his loving care. Thank you DC. Be safe out there yourself!🙏💔🕊️👼👼🏼👼🏽

One of the scariest things about this guy is that there doesn’t ever seem to be any motive for the killings. He was just done with them and wanted to move on.

Rasmussen was not only a monster but he was a coward. Taking the life of anyone is a truly terrible thing. He chose the most vulnerable who never had a chance against him. Many thanks to Rebekah Heath who's valuable investigation gave back the names of all but one of the victims. I hope the other little girl gets hers back too. Thank you for the video. These victims have been remembered not forgotten.

Oooookay. I'm assuming some people would wonder why 'Gordon Jenson' would plead guilty. So, I'll give you the run down. (Also I'm only 15, so I decided to leave out exact dates since I don't have the memory to remember all of them.)
'Jenson" was pulled over for driving a stolen car. When they took him in for trial he was charged with child abandonment, driving with a stolen car, and child molestation (of Lisa unfortunately, this was found out by the family that adopted Lisa after she was abandoned). He would be put on trial and tried for all three. But he pleaded guilty only to the child abandonment. Therefore, he was put into jail for 3 years for the charge. After one and a half years, Jenson was released on parole. Almost instantly after he was released, he fled the area and became a fugitive. Now, why did he WANT to be in jail before he ran away? Him being in jail made the police unable to search deeper into his past. If he was not imprisoned, they would soon find out that he was actually responsible for the Bear Brook murders.
ALSO, you might be wondering "why could the police not just search every little detail of the home after he killed Jun?"
This is because they were only given a "missing person" warrant. Meaning they were only able to search places in his and Jun's home that could hide a body. Meaning they couldn't search things like drawers, because if they did that then they would be violating his amendment rights. Therefore, the evidence would be unusable and make the investigators look untrustworthy.
I'm so sorry for the poor victims. Jun, the four bodies, and Lisa. I hope the sorry bastard gets a stern little chat from God. For he has sinned...

They should upload Jane's DNA to GedMatch. They would be able to get DNA relative hits and construct a family tree. With her ancestry profile, Jane's mom was probably northern Mexican or Peruvian. Both regions have Asian, Native American, and Black admixture along with Spanish.

I have a feeling he used the little girl Jane Doe as a way to make the mother feel comfortable around him. He most likely abducted her based on what he did to that other girl (leaving her at the park after taking her).
