I am physically with them in the duck/goose pens so I can supervise their behavior and redirect or correct any undesirable behavior. When the adults are calm and ignore the birds then the young dogs tend to follow their lead. However young dogs get bored so I need to supervise them in case they start putting their nose into the bird's business.
