Great video explanation again , like the analogy we are always learning and new ideas. The day we say we know everything we may as well hang the lead on the coat hook. Thank you Charlie
Enjoyable as always. Love the deer running through the background 3:43 - 4:35
Thank You! Well spotted
Thought I was the only one that spotted it 😂
Thank you Charlie. I’ve used your videos as a basis for teaching our ‘new to us’ 1.5y old rescue, Sable. GSD x lab. Had her for coming up to 3 weeks. She’s come on leaps and bounds in that time.
Although currently having an artic vortex, -32C, the last few days has been indoor games. Soon be warmer and back out at it.
For those reading this comment and maybe new to the channel, I’d highly recommend watching the rest of the videos on here.
Have a great one, matey
Steve Mac.
The timing of these videos couldn’t be any better, we have a puppy coming to us mid February and hoping she’ll make a great gun dog. It’s so refreshing not only seeing the finished perfect results - thankyou.
The one thing I love about your videos is you keep the good the bad and the ugly in! well done!
Thank You!
Beautiful dog and a great video. Thank you.
Thank you!
You didn't show the part where you get the dog in with the ball. One minute she's sat out there being naughty, the next she's with you holding the ball. Where's the important middle part?
Great video! Love the fence trick. My knows heel but always pulls in front. She doesn’t want to walk behind me. Any tips?
love the videos, but was getting distracted by the deer in the background 😀
Hello been watching your vids for a bit now and appreciate them much I have used some of your techniques for our own dog and they have been so helpful. Hearing you mention that a dog needs a "job"...well our dog is our home pet and ofc we do stuff with him but on that note what types of "dog jobs" would you consider helpful to keep a dog busy. We are just a regular family nvr thought about "jobs" for dogs. Any information about this would be appreciated. Thank you. our dog is a aussie purebred 7 months it wasn't intentional to get this type of dog but we love him and he is a great pup so any suggestions would be helpful. We have had the pup for about 3 and 1/2 months he's a good pup.
Thanks for the video I have learned a lot from this one as I am a Labrador man of 78 and I have 3 one 11 1/2 one 4 1/2 and a puppy 11months old and he is the hardest one. Can you give me some tips on how to stop him sniffing the ground, he is a dog and still has his working parts a good mate of mine has told me not to have him done as it would spoil a well breed dog and he been a picking up dog man for 60 plus years , my other 2 dogs I trained myself and are good picking up dogs any help I would be grateful thank you.
Could you make a video on what to feed.
Could you possibly do a video on dummy laucher training
What about with working cocker that is very over excited on casual walk
I have a 15 month old chocolate lab, I take him to the local park for retrieving training, I use a 5 metre long line and he retrieves well without any correction on short retrieves. If I leave the long lead on him loose he will retrieve very well from much longer distances, but as soon as I remove the long lead he will retrieve to within 3 or 4 yards of me and then go on a run about. I can do a memory retrieve with him the length of a football pitch and providing he has the long lead attached he will do a perfect retrieve, take off the long lead and it’s run about time again. Any suggestions please?
At the moment all his fun is probably when he’s off lead. Retrain him on very short retrieves off the lead, then just extend them more and more.
Thank you for the reply, will do what you suggest.👍
how to train a 8months old lab puppy
What a waist of a good dog, such a shame.
A waste?
Great video 😍 learning lots
