    Mr Needs you are a true gent for posting this.
    I've got a few to service in a few weeks and I was going to read up on the MI's as I've never done a compact service before.
    This has armed me fully and taken away any doubt.
    Thank you once again.

    Nice one Geoff
    It would be great to see a video of a replacement heat exchanger on a compact as I've got one to replace the week after next 😊

    Nice one fella, just booked on the worcester combi fault finding course which includes the compact as more of them are coming through now, neg fan pressure been ok to date so no strip down but only a matter of time. i have to say not as bad as i feared after watching this, when you first take the case off it is a daunting site as it realy is COMPACT!!!!. thanks again keep em coming.

    Thanks for sharing. They aren't the easiest boiler to access. The last LPG one I did the air/gas valve flappy bit of rubber was shot to bits so I replace that to now.

    Great video I've also been lucky enough not to do a full strip down on them yet but only a matter of time looks fairly handy compared to greenstar them baffles can be a pig to get out, wondering do you order a service kit for this model and all seals etc in it or all individually great video man fair play 👍

Just spoken to WB. they actually said that gaskets don't normally require replacing?? I'll always go on the side of caution. Excellent video. Now that kebab heat excahnger👌😂

    Do you need to fit the front cover before using the flue gas analyser? Or is that the compartment ?

    If the heat cell gets to blocked can you use bicarbonate like you did on the blocked CDI vid you have done.

    Hi great video. The tool in the end where you are checking for leaks, is that just sniffing for gas? Cheers

    • @geoffreyneedstraining5856
      @geoffreyneedstraining5856  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lee Edwards yes it a gas sniffer

    • @danielpartyka995
      @danielpartyka995 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a mirror or run my hand around the joints as I have previously used a gas sniffer and found they will pick traces of gas around seals on alot of boilers even new ones.

    • @theunknown3506
      @theunknown3506 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lee it's a gas sniffer yes, as far as I am aware it detects more than just natural gas. So it can be used to check for leaking fumes in this instance.
      I believe the one being used in this video is an Anton gas detector.

    sadly to many engineers putting FGA in and calling that a service for £30... hard to compete offering a proper service as when you say "new burner seals" or the price of a full service.. your just a RIP OFF as the last guy serviced it for £30

  • @davejones4740

    How much for a service on this boiler.

    Do you need to replace flue seal or is it just good practice
