What was wrong with turning it to open and then turning it off when you got the pressure you needed? Seems a lot simpler

where do you get the spanners and are they the same. I only ever see one for sale and not as a pair ?

I have the same boiler but no key, no blue tap and no external filling links I can find anywhere?

Hoping you can help me. Moved into a new place with a WB boiler and Comfort RF II thermostat. I can make the heating come on by toggling the heat control button between ON/OFF/AUTO but can't program it because the right hand menu button doesnt work and this is the button that gets you into the settings menu. I bought a 2nd hand identical thermostat with the intention to pair it to the boiler and then be able to set up programs. In all the videos I've seen they instruct you to unpair the boiler first and then unpair the thermostat and then press the override button on the boiler for a number of seconds and then start the pairing process on the thermostat. If successfully paired, the thermostat should display a 1. But only 0 is showing on mine (meaning not paired). And now because I had to hold down the override button on the boiler, it's now unpaired from its original thermostat, leaving me with neither thermostat paired to the boiler, and I can't even re-pair the old broken thermostat because the right hand menu button doesn't work. Have you any advice on how to pair the new thermostat please?

Great Video . Think worcester just recommend running water through it . Don't remember mentioning any tools to brush it with ?

good vid , boiler is tripping out,at intermittant times ,, condensate trap has been discoloured brownish ,,,also it trips out less often with condensate trap removed ..do u think this is cross leaking

hi a plumber cleaned the kebab style heat exchanger ion my 30 CDi the other day just by using the tool to scrape away losen and remove the deposits. the boiler is working way more efficiently now but I can here a cracklig like sounds un my radiators.is that likely to be caused by lose scale deposits or is it more likely to be air in my system which needs to be bled out? if its scale will my magnaclean catch and collect any debrid over time ?

In my case the condensation water's U shape pipe inside the boiler was full of dead wasps. It was nothing to do with the electrodes or the gas pressure. I cleaned the jam in it and now it is OK again. Bosch condens2300i W boiler.

Just tried this, but as soon as I open the air vent up top (drain valve open) water just keeps coming out... Its not sucking the chemical in... Any suggestions?

thanks, very useful. replaces one on my let property today after calling few local engineers who stated that they would not touch it as it is an old boiler and they could run into a lot of difficulties. However, you can still replace the DV without taking the electronic penal off, There is is still plenty of room.

My compact si goes straight to 3.3d menu option which is minimum output… no option for 3.1a - any idea why? Thanks
