Re: Electrifying Tracks, track layers will do over 1km of track when just upgrading the track (from memory), But the neat thing when upgrading is if the next segment is also marked for upgrade they will roll from one job to the next job. Maybe consider with 4 trains free, allowing them to do all the small and large continuous sections at the same time. As there are no forks in the upgrade plans they will, or SHOULD in the case of WRSR upgrade all the tracks very quickly. I tend to upgrade the main lines, then allow them to go back and upgrade all side lines along with drag over the whole section to grab any tiny bits that might of been missed on the first pass.
Great progress! Re electrification - looks like you almost have the electrification done from one direction to the aggregate unloader (or what it might be?) on the not yet electrified section. You could probably start with electrifying the tracks on the other end on that, and have that both as the initial electric route and also as a detour when electrifying the adjacent main tracks. Re water pumps: The reason the capacity isn't shown is that it varies depending on the height difference, at least between source and destination, possibly also the pump. Not 100% sure what heights the game simulates for the wells and whatnot, but IIRC the big water tower is 50m high, and the small water tower is 30m high. I almost always use the big pumps as the price difference is so low, I would also had used a big pipe from the treatment plant to the water tower. Sure, you don't need that for only feeding one water substation, but having a big pipe is required to run the treatment plant at full capacity, unless you add more water towers or more pipes/pumps to the existing one.
Charlie... Here's my idea... you can make MUCH longer trains for coal... Just put them on a separate track system.. You could even have elevated rails to differentiate between them for an aesthetic look :D 23:00 you forgot to cancel the pipe destruction!!! "a new police station to handle crime at the nuclear power plant so the cops don't have to do it" ....... Ummm.. Charlie?? LOL 55:50 "I don't need another well, I'll just use two small wells" LOL you're having a great day Charlie! ROFL .. in the end.. I prefer the 1 hour long, rather 2 half hour... it's less work on you.. and you're a family man so... #Time4theKids
You can always do what Australia did with its iron train and have one 4.5mi (7.3km) long carrying 82,000 metric tons in 682 cars. Or maybe that would be overkill?
There are no "disadvantages" of switching out of Realistic. Realistic is the ultimate in difficulty experience. Switching out of it allows you to use your funds to instantly buy resources, or build structures, without needing to source the vehicles, materials, and workers yourself to do it. That comes with a significant increase in speed/productivity.... but it removes the "glory" of the challenge
@@CharliePryor Thats true. The only reason i started watching your WRSR series was because it felt different that other series. Like city skylines and WRSR: normal mode, gave nothing new to me and felt boring, but your challenge and voice actually brought me into this series for which i had been a part of since June 2023.
Thou i am not recommending, just suggesting but when you start the Western Town, can you switch to normal mode? The glory and pride of building in Realistic mode was great but somethimes we need to keep the glory aside and look for the future.
I don't remember having any issues with loading the save, but there were various complications in the transition to 1.0 - which the dev helped me with directly. Use their support stuff on their website. They are good people, and help everyone
I think you should get off realistic mode, it’s fun to see the game evolve over time but at the end of day the people want to see you play the game to your satisfaction. The game is classic, but the operating system are not update.
It's crazy how far this series has gone! A glorious republic indeed!
I am always loving this series! Keep up the great work :D

I have an intimate knowledge of how upgrading tracks works from hours of having them do it so far. :)
Great progress!

You need that crazy man explaining pic to go with this.
10 min For the coal problem you could consider starting up an additional coal mine with processing
hey charlie after the nuclear power plant is completed and working well stop the realistic mode and play normal mode
Might be a good idea to build a third rail along stretches you want to electrify? Use it as a bypass, any why not have some extra capacity in future?

Why 26C? Its hella hot!
Only under 8C heating begins (by soviet order)
I have a question.
Can you tell what are the main advantages and disadvantages of switching from Realistic to Normal mode for game experience?

🎉
You can use conveyer engine to transfer coal to steel
Or
Boats
Did you see that distance?

would moving the electric locomotive to the newest distribution office work since all the tracks out there are electric?
It would yes! As long as all of the places that office is connected to is electric, yup.
Very quick question but how did you get to keep your save after the 1.0 Release I lost mine. Love the content keep up the good work

@@CharliePryor Alr thx for the help Keep up the amazing content

Another industry down, I believe this JUST needs Aluminum into plane production right?
I aluminum is the last resource I’m not collecting/producing, but as far as industries go, trains aren’t being made yet, and tourism of course
