i like how it sorta organicly builds on its own round your choices. like you place the initial building locations but homes and farms happen organicly around them
Finished it twice already. Good looking but it need a lot more work still. I personally like idea of "ages" but they should be three times longer at least (+ ability to switch it of completelly and progress when you choose to). Walls should be also build where i choose, not with some sliders who doesnt work as they should anyway. Yeah and performance should be solved too, with +10k citizens frame rate starting to going down quickly. Music ok-ish, sounds too.
When you said it's like civilization, I was hoping that there is a world map with other civilizations, where you can build other cities and trade between them.
All PC city builders are crap, becouse none of them dosen't know what that is,or what we want. And i bet, that none of them, has ever played Sim City,or Cities Skylines. But to me,the biggest insoult is,that they have never builded slavic city building game. And by watching this roman grecko crap makes me upset and insoulted, becouse greeks and romans has learned culture from slavs, and stole everything from slavs. And their was no "ancient greece" before 1890,when it was invented by german history falsificators,on Berlin Congress. And before "greece" has become greece,it was serbian territory. And for end i will add, that slavs lives in europe for last 10700 years, and that slavs has created Vinća civilization in 5508BC,and slavic aryan calendar since 5508BC.And when you realise that their is nothing made about oldest civilization on earth, then you realise, that this people aren't in gaming business, but in history falsification business. And if you could know more about real slavic history, yours hart could stop ticking from shocking realisation, what real history is.
@@Jasmin.M-hz5ty This sounds like Pan-Slavic propaganda. Greeks and Romans have no historical connection to the Slavs, and the claim that Slavs are the oldest people on earth is not only untrue but utterly bizarre. Historically, Slavic societies have often been seen as agrarian and relatively passive, especially in comparison to the more dominant civilizations like the Greeks and Romans. In fact, the English word 'slave' is derived from 'Slav,' a reference to the Slavic people who were sold into slavery during medieval times. While I have nothing against Slavs, it's important to recognize that you are overestimating their role in world history. Greek and Roman civilizations have had a far greater and more enduring impact. Furthermore, with games like Manor Lords already representing the medieval Slavic world, it's unclear what more Slavic culture could bring to the genre of city-builders.
@@octaviantimisoreanu5810 It's not panslavic propaganda,it's the truth, you just don't know the real history. And why i wouldn't play city builder in slavic style?I mean,if they can make city builder where you can build grekoroman architecture then why not slavic? After all, slavs lives in europe since neolithic, and did created Vinća civilization in 5508BC,so what is not to like.?
@@Jasmin.M-hz5ty The Slavic people are not typically seen as historically influential, unlike like the Greeks or Romans. Additionally, the Vinca culture is not connected to the Slavs. By attributing the Vinca civilization to the Slavs, you're misrepresenting a distinct culture, likely based on some misinformation or nationalist propaganda found online. In truth, the Vinca culture has no relation to Slavic history. I encourage you to reconsider this viewpoint and avoid perpetuating misleading narratives.
after playing FF this games looks fully automated. It looks like it has lots of stuff but it’s an illusion. For example in FF if you build a farm you need to get livestock. If you gather resources you need to allocate villagers. I don’t see any of that here everything just auto-grows and if you need more of something just plop it down and rinse and repeat. Thanks for the showcase though it’s nice to compare and contrast.
Life is struggle, without struggle we won't change. Starvation forced us to consume animals and conflict forces us to develop better defences etc. We are a very lazy race, if we don't need to change, we won't simple as that. Look at the tribes in the Amazon for example, we prevent outside contact and they operate much as they have for millenia... Sad, and I agree with your sentiment, but it is very unrealistic.
Ya know... many Tubers call this game "unique" but none articulate what's umique about it. As far as I can tell, it's an RTS without a mechanism to Zerg rush, I guess that's unique in a "why?" way.

I know it’s in alpha but literally none of the mechanics outside resource gathering - trade, politics, religion, factions - feel well thought out or functional. You can play the game without paying attention to any of these really. Where is the challenge? I’m disappointed in the actual gameplay. Also the soundtrack is totally off. Why not have atmospheric music matching each time period?
I agree. i finished the game three times. And i feel like i am just racing to build wonders and cultural buildings. The narrative events seem lacking and doesn't have any long term repercussions.
