Singapore is a safe country, suitable for families and children's education, with developed and convenient aviation.
Singaporeans all live and work in Singapore, make money, and take their children to travel around the world during school holidays.

Great video. Different people have different expectations of Singapore and that's normal. SG can't satisfy everybody and that's normal too. Just enjoy yourself wherever you are. As a Singaporean, I'm absolutely happy and contented to stay in SG forever, especially during this tumultuous times.

Hi Daryl, u said Sg is boring but how activities would u want? Other than the skyscrapers, tourist spots & shopping malls, there r plenty of outdoor lives to explore. U can (1) canoe in mangrove swamps, or down Kallang River, or East Coast / Changi area, (2) Migratory birds enclave at Sungei Buloh, (3) Our many parks, (4) Ride bicycle around the entire island using our park connectors, (4) Explore our nature reserves & water catchment area, (5) Fishing at coastlines & our reservoir designated areas, (5) water ski or other water sports. (6) Family & kids friendly outdoes & indoors activities, etc. (7) We have great museums, art galleries & live theatres. Try these when u visit Sg again.

My piece of advice for you mate , first get a job and after which get a work visa and starts making some quid then you will see the benefits and upside of Singapore . You can’t compare 3rd world countries like Thailand or Malaysia with Singapore it’s not even the same league. Besides cheap accommodation and food what business opportunities in r activities you have in Thailand and Malaysia?
If you compare Singapore with UK , Swiss , Germany , Italy or France even Netherlands , Singapore is much more value for money. Anyway it’s a personal preference but for me Singapore will be my no 1 choice .

The stresses of living in the west (eg London knife crimes, cars stolen from outside your house, IPhone snatching in tourist areas, etc), rush hour traffic/jams/tube congestion, very expensive tube/metro/overground rail prices, high fuel, winter heating prices, rental prices, generally cost of living. BUT thankfully lots of beautiful London parks, lovely areas/towns to explore (eg side streets, off main touristy areas, Camden market/others, Greenwich, free museums/art galleries, being close to Europe exploring Paris, etc. After living for decades in a beautiful city offering so much makes it difficult to compare with another much smaller unless in retirement one prefers the safety, security, friendliness, much cheaper cost of living, warm climate.

Agree that Singapore is pretty small and you can't do much here after awhile but the government has compensated this with the strongest passport in the world so I am kinda ok with it. We could literally go anywhere, anytime we want. It is really no much difference to bigger countries where you need to take domestic flights to other states. Also, we are lucky that our currency is stronger than surrounding countries so people here really enjoyed travelling frequently to neighbouring countries. Even if you don't want to fly, you could also literally drive to Malaysia, you could take a ferry to Indonesia, tons of people go to these places during weekends.

I agree with everything you say about Singapore. I've visited a few times in the couple of years my brother lived there. He was working for a property developer as a favour whilst trying to set up his own business, but because he wasn't earning big bucks, he ended up not being able to afford the place and moved to KL. One of his friends is still living in Singapore working for a big bank. It's funny how you say you couldn't live there because you'd be bored, this guy and his wife agree that there is actually nothing to do other than shopping, eating out and going to the park & gym, but they said they like it that way & enjoy living a safe and peaceful life (whilst counting their $ 😉).

Boring people tend to get easily bored especially when they don’t find things within their narrow range of interests/expectations. They are typically not inclined to explore their environment or challenge preconceptions with an open mind because they are not interested/curious/motivated enough to do so. Then, like kids, they complain about being bored because they didn’t find anything interesting (to them) to do. Are you bored, or boring?😂

True, but because the normies are just taking it lying down, it will come to a country near you soon. It's a global project. You either accumulate enough assets to buy your way out of the leash or keep running from country to country to those that are slower at implementing it which isn't practical nor a way to build a life.

Singapore is an island with 6+ million people. Its government had the foresight to know that if everyone is driving cars, the traffic congestion would hinder everyone's freedom of mobility, and the tax revenue required to maintain the infrastructure would bankrupt the country. There's no conspiracy; it's just the reality of transportation anywhere in the world.

U want to identify what’s the meaning of police state … so what if it’s a police state ? My 3 teenage girls could walk around the park in the middle of the night without getting assault not even from mosquitoes . I could leave my wallet , laptop or even my latest iPhone on the table and walk around the restaurant ordering my food and when I get back mins later they are still intact . I personally witnessed an office lady placed her Hermes Birkin bag on the table and comes back with her food and drinks 20mins later & her expensive bag is still intact!
Unless you have the intention to do something naughty or commit a crime in that country then Singapore is a state you should not even think about going .
