Would love a video on the difference between causing pigmentation like PIH or pigmentation coming to the surface. As a Melasma sufferer, it's really difficult to differentiate whether or not products are helping or hurting my condition.
I have this procedure now for 3rd time...trust me this the only product that really improved my skin in just a week.and gives me lots of compliments with my friends and even in our local sephora here..but it is so expensive...can i ask where to buy the cosmelan md version...thanks..
Oh Wow Susan, I just did my 2nd TCA 13 Peel on my décolleté and day 3, and already my skin is crinkled and super dry. I am pretty sure that Iam going to get a good peel from this 2nd one. I did 3 layers in hopes it will diminish all the sun damage on my chest. I’m super excited. Iam using Platnuim Skincare Fade Bright as well as the Luminosity this go round and can see a huge difference as into the progress of my skin getting ready to peel. I’m sure I have some melasma on my face, and getting ready to do my 2nd peel on face and neck. Super excited to see and get great results. Thank you for sharing using the Cosmelan MD peel with us. I did this treatment twice at home during the pandemic, and once again after a year, and it yielded amazing results. However, I found that the treatment was quite expensive, with a surplus of product left over. I am curious to know if the same treatment is more affordable at a clinic.
I am doing the same treatment right now. Im on my third day. I am not loving it. I have kids and we are in summer I'd probably had to wait until fall to do it. I'll see how that goes. My dermatologist recommended not to use any other products but the cosmelan moisturizer for the first 3 days. Then the rest of the creams for the entire month. I dont know, hopefully it works. 🤞🏿 I am struggling with dark spots though.
I have a question. Sometimes when you’re peeling from a sunburn and you moisturize it stops the peeling and you end up very patchy. With this, when you start peeling and you moisturize, will it stop the peeling or will it continue to peel because it comes from deeper?

I just remember that in some skincare reaction videos you comment about celebrities mixing skincare products, specifically moisturizer.
It’s hard to follow bc you didn’t follow the instructions properly the last time you did this and for this one. So the process and outcome isn’t accurate. Idk, I can’t trust it now bc I don’t really see the proper process and result.
I thought the purpose of chemical peels is to keep your face dry as possible to reach maximum benefit of the peeling off your face?? Is what my aesthetician said… is that wrong?
Wouldn't this strong peel, after your laser treatment make skin very sensitive and more susceptible to pih. Also weren't you supposed to use just hydroquinone after pico sure? Thanks for sharing your journey
In theory you’re right, but we spaced this out with enough time between. Dr. Desai really felt like this was the treatment I needed to do, and I’m really glad I finally listened.
I’m gonna say it! I did this treatment about 2.5 months ago and it is by far the best result I have had for my melasma.

Looking good and please keep us posted. I stopped using an LED mask and made my melasma worse.
Not sure if using hydroquinone after a peel is a good idea. Scary.

I got mine in clinic. It’s really pricey unfortunately.
You can only get it from an authorized reseller (often a clinic/derm).

It’s pricey. Can be about $1000 to $1500 a pop, but yes, it works on all hyperpigmentation.

It does dilute it but it’s a little strong anyway so it’s sort of like diluting or sandwiching with tret. Just trying to make it tolerable.
