I love this doctor. She went straight to the root cause and provided with so much help. Other sources I can’t stand them talking too much of what people with problems do not want to “know”. They need an immediate help and not lectures 😳 Thank you Sr Jenny ❤. You are amazing 🤗
How do you used them, can I use 2 or 3 serums one night? Or each night only one acid serum ? Can I use acids in the morning befor vitamin C, can I use acid serums before retinol pm? love the video but another one explaining what things can you combine or the order to use them would be perfect
Thank you Dr. Jenny. I really appreciate you doing this video. I’m turning 50 and have a lot of hyperpigmentation and dark spot. I’m learning how to help address my concerns.
Being a male with Melasma can be hard to understand what wil work for me. Good to know the science behind the treatment, and what to use when . My wife and I have pigmentation from different reasons, Cerave Retinol really worked for her ache spots. However melasma is sticky , needs more strategic approach. I will share my results after 3-4 weeks. Thanks again.
Thank you dr. Jenny. I’m your new subscriber and thank you for your education about melasma, I know it takes a lot of time to cure and patience to control them it is stressful and frustrating.
I appreciate all your recommendations❤, but I would like to know the sequence of the most popular. How many of these do I put on at at one time and which ones……I’m such a beginner… hyper pigmentation is my problem and acne is no problem at all
❤’d this video. It really helped me understand the different ingredients, how they work and for what type of skin certain ingredients are best and more. I learned so much. Thank you! 😊
For several years I have used Timeless Vit C , moisturizer with niacinamide , tinted spf 50, and 0.1 % tret. I've also used up a tube of Topicals Faded which has a lot of the actives mentioned in the video. Yet there has been little change in sunspots on my cheeks and melasma mustache.
I also have melasma mustache and tried diff products to get rid or lighten them but still there taking a toll of my self confidence. I just cover it with a foundation..😔😔
Hi Dr.Liu, Thank you for the wonderful products. Thank you for your review of the skincare video with Susan too! I want to ask about The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%. Would this be a good product to use as a vitamin c in the morning routine?
can u do a video about razor bumps and how to help prevent them/soothe, along with hyperpigmentation? - especially in the bikini area 😅 I send my mom all your videos btw, thank you for the free information 💗
Thank you! I have it around my mouth and it's very annoying! However, I wonder which one I should use because you said that they irritated our skin? Thank you again for the information. Very useful
I have melasma worse than hyperpigmentation. I have done lasers Fraxels and all laser stuff have made my melama worsen. Too many products can’t put them all on cuz it clogs my pores
Hi thanks for your informative tutorial. Please do a video that will touch more on melasma. Can glutathione/vitamin c either oral or topical help to clear it combined?
Thank for this video. There are so many good products out there, that I didn't know what to use. I have had hypothyroidism for 11 years, take antidepressants and don't use sunscreen (my bad).I have the whole package 😅
Hydroquione is still available OTC. Porcelana products, for example, have 2% hydroquione and they’re less than $10. I looked online and there are all kinds of brands out there for sale
Thanks very much I have learned a lot about the products you have mentioned and the fact that I am suffering from serous hyperpigmentation can't go out without wearing makeup. Though am a little confused don't know which to pick and how many different combinations I should buy, how to layer them?

Hi Dr. Liu! I actually live in Minnesota - Mankato but grew up in Minneapolis! Maybe I will meet you one day! But what I wanted to ask is my dermatologist at Mankato Clinic suggested a cream that had to be formulated in Arizona - a compounding pharmacy and it was, I think, retinol, fluocinonide, niacinamide and hydroquinone.. She also suggested a glycolic peel. Both are very expensive. Are there alternatives to this, or does this sound right?

She was very patience and used it for 9-12 months and only able to see a very visible results after 9 or 12 months of usage. Her story was an extremely encouraging one so may be you should try to use this Eucerin anti pigment dual serum with thiamidol for longer period to see of it works for you. Yep, as of all, no more products are allowed OTC with Hydroquinone. It may just take time for stores to sell out or have them pulled.

Dr Liu, is it better to use mineral spf if you have melasma? I read that it’s better for that but I much prefer chemical.
Nope not necessarily. Just find one you like, works well for your skin, and doesn’t cause irritation! My faves are actually chemical spfs too

Is arbutin is safe if I use it over the year?
Like i see many studies that don't use arbutin more than 3 months ...
No one ever shares how to use anything, they just throw out products
Probably because there are differences in different products. There should be instructions in every product.
