Thank you. I genuinely don't hate, fear or dread the aging process the way so many are conditioned to. I feel the opposite, that people get more beautiful with age especially because we learn how to properly look after and respect ourselves. Cheesy but sincere view.
@@gothamista Not cheesy; there are legions of us out here embracing our body’s natural process but still wanting to look and feel healthy and lovely. We follow content creators with the passion and skills to help us learn to care for our skin (and bodies) but so often the messaging is indirectly or overtly about fighting impending loathsomeness rather than to nurture ourselves. Thank you again 🥰
I nearly fell off my chair when Renee shared her age! You look amazing girl😍I am in my early fifties, haven't used injectables either (thou not opposed) am planning on starting retinols after the summer, so this is perfect timing
Thanks for sharing your Gold-Standard! I'd love a Silver-Standard (beauty store and/or online mid-range) and even Bronze-Standard (beauty/drug store and/or lower-range) recommendations. I'm trying to find a mid-range copper peptide and have tried The Ordinary and am currently trying MaeLove.
I was wondering if you recommend the Peach and Lily copper peptide serum? It's going to be on sale at ulta soon and I would love to know your opinion of it!
You're in your mid-50's?! Hello, Gorgeous!! Wow! I'm turning 47 this year. I was not sure if you were older or even slightly younger than myself 🤭🤭😊 Honestly speaking. But that's make sense as to why I love you and your channel so much! Thank you. A huge virtual hug 🤗🫶🫶 You mean so much to me and I've learned so much from you. Thank you!!! 🌾🍶🌸🌸
PS. The skincare works! It's all in the long-term usage. Toners with galactomyces serums with bifida, usage of retinoids (and they don't necessarily have to be so strong - consistency is the key!) and whatever actives that you use regularly to target your specific thing and taking care of the "biome mantle" or the skin barrier WILL pay off. Natural is so much better in the end. And it does it way better than knife and needles. I admire that you never do e any "work". Neither have I. Nature does it better. I trust my DNA. And we can help nature with a little bit of skincare 😉
Hi there! Love your channel. Can you tell me what essence you would use if you didn’t have one of your own. I am looking for a less expensive one, but a good one. I value your opinion more than anyone else in the skincare industry. Much appreciated and look forward to hearing back. Thank you!
I loved your lip balm recommendation years ago, the Innisfree ones with a tint that came in a tube. They were amazing and I was heartbroken when they got discontinued. They now have a new one that comes in a bullet but they're just not the same. Can you give a similar recommendation that has both a beautiful tint (subtle, not garish) and moisturizing abilities please? 🙏
I use 0.02% tret from Agency too. I'm surprised your % isn't significantly higher. One thing I love is that my undereye area perfectly tolerates this tret! Thank God! The eyebrow area does too, but not the mobile eyelids. I'm South Korean and used to deal with milia around my eyes. But since switching to carnivore/keto and then animal-based dietary intake the last 3 years, there's been no more milia at all! In facts, a bunch of body things have cleared up since switching my foods.
Ah you're so lucky your eyes tolerate it. I will work up to that, but when I first tried, it felt and looked like I had a very bad sunburn for a while.
Do you have to pay a monthly subscription fee with Agency? I have no idea how their service works but I’d like some info in order to determine if it’s affordable for me. TIA!🤗🫶🏻
@@courtneyblue15 It's not a monthly subscription. They only charge whenever the product(s) ship, and you're in charge of that timing. It's been great for at least a year; I have no complaints!
Hello! Do you consider copper peptides safe for melasma correct? I have it very mildly on my forehead. I've been wanting to try the one from Theramid/Niche Beauty Lab. Never tried a Copper Peptide before, just peptide serum. For puffiness for me the game changer was bioidentical progesterone. Thank you!
Rene can u recommend anything for thinning hair? Especially thinning hairline 😢 i need something that can help that's not minoxidil. I recently bought the jbeauty kaminoto hair tonic but no idea if it'll work for hair regrowth
It’s such a treat to see a new video today. I’m on the hunt for a really emollient face cream (one that’s easy to get in Canada) for my menopausal skin. I tried a mini version of the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream and it was exactly what I needed. It even helped me tolerate using actives more frequently. I was going to buy the full size but then I found out that the formula had changed and that it didn’t perform or feel the same as the original. So, if anyone knows of a dupe or something else that is really hydrating, moisturizing, rich and soothing without feeling silicone-y or waxy, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
I'm in my mid 50s. When I see people our age, they look much older than they should. They are not aging well ..wrinkles everywhere, gray hair, eye bags, bad teeth. No, I thought she was in her early 30's. My husband is 11 years younger than me, and everyone thinks he's the older one. Now I can't afford whatever stuff she's getting done at the dermatologist's office, but I do everything I can at home. It also helps that she's not overweight. @@Hollywoodbelongstothedevil

you could use them together although, the ordinary copper peptide also contains an effective amount of argireline (although not as much) so you don't really need both

yes, this is a spendy serum. in fact, out of my 2 favorite copper peptide serums (CAIS + the ordinary copper peptides), I feel this one from AoS is similar to the Ordinary's. Not the same of course, but a great option that's less spendy.
