Yes, sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen, and avoiding the sun during high peak. I quit alcohol and smoking cigarettes years ago so glad I did that. Thanks for information and as always, I love 💕 Naturium.
Agree about the sun and sunscreen. However, the body needs vitamin d. The majority of my patients are deficient causing many physical and mental issues. Get up early and get sun exposure for 10-15 minutes from a walk - you will be amazed at how you feel.
There's no data showing that wearing spf inhibits vitamin d production. But I do agree with you that a short walk in morning/late afternoon sun is a nice thing to do.
I live in a very sunny place, and most of my friends have physical and mental issues. None of them wears sunscreen. Sunshine won't solve all your problems.
Thank you for bringing on an expert from the medical field. Which peels and lasers are recommended for south Asian skins? My skin tends to pigment easily after an injury (a scratch, insect bites) thank you in advance
I would love to learn more about laser procedures. I feel like its a huge category that I dont understand well at all if I was going to try to pursue treatment.
Talking about spf, I have different spfs (chemicals, minerals, Americans, Asians and Europeans) and all of them break me out. I don't have acne but whenever I use one of them I have 2-4 pimples the next day and when I stop using them for 2 days, it disappears. However, the Hero cosmetic green one is the ONLY one who does NOT break me out and it's a mineral one which I love since the zinc oxide and my skin work wonderfully together. I just love it so much and I hope they will never stop neither change the formulation of it. Thanks Hero 😊
My advice to self and you .invest in super powders like green tea cacao chia powder add to smoothies start a skin beauty and wellness cabinet in kitchen like with blueberry powder
Enjoyed his recommendations! Would be interested to know which peels are recommended for mature sensitive skin. Also, agree with him about the led mask…it actually seems to be making my pigmentation worse, which is so strange. It was a big splurge financially for me, too!
It's because of the infrared light. Red led should be fine but most of the masks have red light and infrared light. Infrared light produces heat which can worsen melasma and hyperpigmentation
@321morlan4 heat is definitely a trigger for melasma. If you only have hyperpigmentation, it might not be as severe but infrared light goes deeper into the skin and produces heat so it's known to possibly worsen those conditions. Its interesting bc its supposed to be good for inflammation and pain. I actually didn't buy an led mask bc I couldn't really find one without infrared except for small handheld ones which would take forever to use all over the face
@@angiesplaylist23 I also started hormone treatment so that could be a factor as well. Interesting that the infrared goes deeper into the skin. I splurged on the mask that has both infra red and the other. Had no idea it could worsen melasma or I would have saved my money!
‼️🚨🔔🚨‼️SUSAN!! I’ve been trying to find the lipstick color you’re wearing for years!! Please please Please send a link to this product 🙏 🙏 🙏 thank you.
My derm said red light masks weren’t worth the time. I have both omnilux neck and face, Nira, and added an electro wand.never smoked, don’t drink, I have spf, retinol and I think I’m aging okay but turning 54 so it gets harder to maintain elasticity.
Great tips! Currently, I cannot do the sleep one: I have a baby going through the 4th month sleep regression. What I can do is hope and pray for proper sleep soon 😅
Meh nothing new...when you have been into skincare for w long while, you start to get bored with this kind of videos...I miss some really new insights!!
Love his comment about the sugar 😂 “just tell yourself there’s not a lot of data behind it, you’ll be fine” works for me!

SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN ❤.
Exposure to sunshine is great for your skin, mental health and mood, around 15mins a day in the morning is enough. ☀️

Your body still gets plenty of D-vitamin if you wear screen, its a total myth that you don’t

@@gretakallashi4010 of course not.
There are plenty of Vitamine D supplements. I'd rather take a supplement than risk getting skin cancer and premature aging.
I can tell I’ve been watching this channel forever. Not to brag but I knew this stuff 💅
Great tips!! With botox being as common as it has become; doctors need to start making it more affordable
@@G2theS agree!
Exactly 😭😭

I'm in the Bay area and may just pay him a visit for a consult. Thank you both so much.

Try CeraVe am moisturizing sunscreen. I have oily acne prone skin, that's what I'm using right now and it doesn't break me out.

Mine too! I don’t know if it’s the (tiny, but still) heat it produces or what, but my freckles seem to get worse every time I use my LED mask.

@angiesplaylist23 the strange thing is i can go into a sauna and not have the same thing happen though. At least not that i notice.
