Gents that's how you know we have come to the "End of Days" when you need a computer to be able to change your rear brake pads on a Honda! Sad day indeed...
Actually, you don't. It's just a little motor. Just jump it to a battery.
@@ken98056I mean, he's still kinda right. You had to still add a "but this, and that" to your comment lol
Know I'm wondering if it could be done with the car lifted and you put the transmission in neutral without applying the electronic hand brake? 🤔
That’s exactly how I’ve done it on my 17’ Si
Not at all. The piston will still turn back into the caliper....old school style.
Wouldn't be an official Type S build without TJ there 🤙
Congrats. Channel is doing great. Content is super informative and it’s always exciting to see new mods on the DE5/FL5 platforms
You got to be driving this thing to the highest of all heavens to put these brakes on it and involve computers with this setup.... lord have mercy
you guys got me to buy my first acura a 2014 tl absolutely love it will buy another acura in the future for sure
Great content! One of your best videos. Love the closeup shots. Cheers 🍻
I see any Integra type s video and I smashing that like button
Same
Mike I love your project car. The brakes are really nice. Love the background music.
That Blue color is just Ahhhhh 🤤 Goodjob everyone
Great video. Johns' great mechanic and well-spoken. Keep it up the content.
yeah, imma need them big brake kits for stopping a walmart parking lot and work. it will also give me that extra power when i needed it the most on roll race, the only drifting i will ever be doing.
makes me want to save up for a DE5 one day.. great mods and of course great content as always AHC!
Great content as always! 👍
*SATURDAYS ARE FOR THE BOYS*
🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉
I like mines matching RED! 😊
100% the different color calipers would drive me insane.
Sweet kit 👌
This brake sistem is huge man...
Wao great job now im geting my upgrade brakes done for my fk8
Absolute beautiful car buddy love the color
Nice man. Looks good
Looks amazing.
Also you should have compared the pad size.. oem to the afternarket.. since disc size is same difference is i guess is in pad size.. ifpad is the same..caliper difference from 4 to 6 pistons should do much of a difference and if oem is monoblock and these are two piece its a step backword..pad compaund and pad size is most difference
You should have done weight comparison... If u have upped the unsprung weight of the car with the new front rotors
The music is so interesting, man I need a joint 😂
Mike Mike Mike… as if 4 piston brembo wasnt enough, you needed to upgrade the brakes! Haha. Glad you enjoy your car
Keep it up this is great entertainment
I would love to see you out on track one day Mike! Lmk I wouldn’t mind being your instructor 🙌🏻.
Looks amazing! Great job as always. Quick question I just remembered as u torqued town the nuts. What's the correct torque lbs for a 2012 Acura tsx?
some 60-0 tests before and after would be nice.
Massive overkill
She’s perfect 🤩
Question... How come no brake lube on slider pins in the rear and on the end of the pads?
car will be stollenn ♥️♥️♥️
very nice project. Brakes looks great. However, will you guys ever do anything for a Honda Ridgeline? I have a trailsport coming in and was looking for some ideas.
The rotors already look like they got hot.
I have a project mu bbk on my 05 TL, but it was never advertised as being an option, only for the tsx. Something tells me these will go on a TLX as well.
Looking at the thumbnail, it seems someone has found out how to use photoshop😂
Right ✅️ 💯
What can I use to unlock the service brake
Seems like the brake upgrade is faster than the car.😂
Mike can't you do more upgrades for the Rdx Aspec.
You guys selling the brembos now that youre not using it?
When we will have the type t version for the integra?
Is the caliper bracket aluminum?
Can you take those "old" front brakes and adapt them on the rear?
Do you find the p3 pads noisy/dusty?
Genuine parts are the best
That thumbnail is how my M6 brakes look
Are you selling the old ones i like to get them
와우 - 탱크
I heard some reggaeton @15:50 !
Comes with stock brembo but upgrades lol those are good problems to have
he just poured the brake fluid with no funnel, scary territory haha 😅
😍
👍
I would prefer that my calipers match front to back. Rear red ones look cheap.
عالی
Personally im a gtr guy, but seeing all these oem plus builds is kind of satisfying.
Your vehicle..but why not silver calipers all around instead of 2 colors
or you could just upgrade the pads on the factory brake and if you want to get crazy upgrade the caliper… probably damn close to the same results. This stuff is only worth it if you are tracking.
I was recently quoted 68k
Unusual to see the lead pistons larger than the trailing pistons. I’d expect to see uneven pad wear with the new brake set up.
I would have expected to see the calliper link pipe and bleed nipples the other way around so the smallest pistons were at the bottom of the calliper.
the front and rear brake caliper colors don't match.
Next they will drop a super charge v8 hellcat motor….
Can I have your Brembos?
The stock Brembo's look better
Tarox multi-pot brakes are superior brakes. Big pots are worthless. Tarox goes with more smaller pots. This gives more even brake force, better pedal feel, and better heat resistance. Tarox are insane. Sure you might have to fab your own bracket if they don't have one specific to your car. But totally worth it.
Never heard of this brand. So its a first for me. The small/medium/large piston/pot design is weird to me. Makes me think the pads will get uneven pressure when braking. Does each pot have a flow restrictor? To make the 3 pot sizes have equal braking force? Otherwise their size to fluid ratio is going to affect braking force. Im not a fan of uneven pad wear....
Varying piston size is quite common on multi-piston monoblock calipers. I remember reading about sports and supercars using them 25 years ago in car magazines.
@@Patrick94GSR varying size is common, when its symmetrical. These aren't. Id be fine of they were 12 pot where one side goes large medium small small medium large but these dont. They go small medium large in a 6 pot design aka asymmetrical
You are an idiot.
On a FWD car 😂
Nahh.
Integra looks droopy. It’s sloppy looking
Nope I do not like it
the front wheel caliper is silver color and the red caliper in rear that look very wild
i like the red caliper than the new one in the front wheel
