These videos are incredible, I really appreciate you guys showing the whole process and even going to dyno test the car afterward, all in the same video. I feel like we're kinda spoiled with these Type S videos LOL.
Type S looking good, sounding good fellas. We have been having type S coming in for the expansion tank cracking. Good call on the radium tank. Those vossen wheels will be on my aspec soon.
Ty for that individual look in to intake ,open and close box intakes it really puts a . Dot for me when buying an intake now thanks for that. Great vid again.
Hey Mike, I love and appreciate the awesome content you guys produce on the channel. Does your team offer any of these installations for the type S to clients?
I own this car, it's the only thing that comes close to my old e46 m3 in terms of driving soul. Also, it has enough power stock, it does not need mods lol
Only issue I see with that air box design is that it’s going to be much more difficult to get the filter out for cleaning. Looks like it will have to be disassembled to get the filter out for cleaning, which means people may not clean the filter as much as they should.
How much have you spent upgrading everything so far? Just trying to get an idea , so I can do the same/similar to my '24 ITS.if anyone knows any shops in Denver I could partner with to do my upgrades, Id appreciate a reference ! TY in advance
I wonder why TJ's makes 400HP, but Mike's is only sitting at 388. Could it be each of their tunes from Hondata is different? They seem to have very similar parts, the tune is the only thing I could think of that's making the difference. I don't think the IAT would make such a change, but I'm no mechanic, so I could be wrong.
is that coolant tank pressurized? If so, why would they design it in a way that just about guarantees a leak? That engine replacement wouldn't be cheap or worth risking. Glue it together and it'll be fine? NAH. :)
Did you guys install the silicone tube incorrectly on the titanium pipe when putting the new intake in? Watch your video. The short side of that silicone tube isn’t on the titanium part, it’s facing the plastic piece in middle. When you put HVI in you put short side of silicone tube on titanium pipe. It seems like it’s wrong judging from your video. It’s even written TIP on the long side inside the tube.
It is on correctly as both sides of that silicon hose are actually different sizes so they will only fit one way so both sides are snug to the correct size tubing
That’s what I was suggesting about Tjs type s before because those aluminum intakes soak up heat But some other tard commented and said he knows what he’s doing. If u want cooler temps stay away from aluminum
It doesn’t seem that the aluminum piping has any disadvantage to the car since I’m still making over 400hp and also aluminum charge piping is nothing new been using them on all turbo cars for a while never really made a big difference in iat
I want to install an HPS intake on my 2022 MDX Type S, but I've heard that installing a cold air intake on a car can potentially cause issues with the engine, such as triggering the check engine light. I'm curious about how much of this is true.
They are knowledgeable and they pretty much work for the dealership. If the dealership can prove that the cause of fault was a specific mod…sure. But it wouldn’t void the whole car warranty. These guys install and test things very throughly so the chance of issues happening is very low. This is a professional shop.
Yall becoming ambassadors for the type s
Good work
We are honored
Another type S video another time me smashing that like button. I can’t wait to install my prl intake when it comes in.
I appreciate it! You will love your new HVI
These videos are incredible, I really appreciate you guys showing the whole process and even going to dyno test the car afterward, all in the same video. I feel like we're kinda spoiled with these Type S videos LOL.
Thank you for noticing. Take a lot to make these videos but comment like yours, make it all worth it 👍
Man this channel is gold. Glad i found it. Love the workshop noises and watching you install. Thank ypu so much boys
As always, thank you for the knowledge and entertainment you bring.
Well there's no chill music while your working but I love both Type S project cars!
Don’t like the music anyways.
Even better
Its not a music video 😂
ASMR kind of install 😏
I enjoy the straight wrench and echoes of the shop tbh, its theraputic

Right on!!
Ty for that individual look in to intake ,open and close box intakes it really puts a . Dot for me when buying an intake now thanks for that. Great vid again.
Sure thing!
Hey Mike, I love and appreciate the awesome content you guys produce on the channel. Does your team offer any of these installations for the type S to clients?
Yes we do. Shoot us an email: AcuraHondaClassic@gmail.com
It's sick great videos as always love the consistency in your uploads
More to come!
Awesome job guys
Thank you!!
Thankful for these videos Mike. Motivates me to keep working hard to buy more parts for my fl5
You can do it!
It sounds really good 👍
Cheers!!
It so cool your dealership lets you work on your own cars and record my job would never let that happen 😅
I think they have some vested interest in this place. It’s also excellent publicity for the dealership
Right on!!
Sorry but I vote YES to the cool music.
Right on!!
4Pistons makes upgraded camshafts for the K20C1. HondaproJason has them in his FL5 CTR.
Maybe soon :-)
Can’t wait until mine arrives from PRL
You will love it
I used Pherable on my 2019 civic si. It's my favorite tune to date !
Where are you guys located I got a type s in NY? I need a good shop lol. Love the vids keep it going !!
Any issues with the HVI snorkel driving in the rain?
Did I miss the video or is it still to be made?
Would love to see the dyno results with this configuration with a fresh tune.

Silly question but are all the mods in the videos for the Integra “CARB” legal??
I do not believe so
Will either of these void the factory warranty? Love your videos btw!
Yes, with the suspension
Car looks and sound good my only thing i dont like about this car is its front wheel drive and not rear wheel drive or even AWD.
Парни красавцы как всегда , круто 🔥👍
I own this car, it's the only thing that comes close to my old e46 m3 in terms of driving soul.
Also, it has enough power stock, it does not need mods lol
love this car but, 53k is crazy why wouldn't you just get the ct4 blackwing instead?
CT4V Blackwing is a great option however no manual option
Is this car tuned or just those two bolt ons making that power?
Yes, Phearable Stags 2 Tune
Only issue I see with that air box design is that it’s going to be much more difficult to get the filter out for cleaning. Looks like it will have to be disassembled to get the filter out for cleaning, which means people may not clean the filter as much as they should.
Just a few bolts and clamps, the entire box comes off.
Wish you guys would do full bolt ons on a 11th gen Si
Stay tuned, we have one coming very soon
This dyno result supporting mods Dp included? Or just the ones mentioned on the description?
Do you or TJ have the phearable aggressive pops?
How would this intake compare against an eventuri intake? For power and sound??
We have not able to test an Eventuri intake, hopefully soon
Is there for would there be any issues unplugging the ECU for this install after it’s been unlocked ? Also if this tuner or not?
No issue at all. be sure to let the car idle for at least 20 minutes after disconnecting the battery
Thoughts on doing a catch can?
Maybe in the future
I wonder if it's easy to get to the air filter after install it?
Just a few screws and clamps, the intake box will pop right off
Just a question was that the HP and TQ to the wheel ?
what do u think the max Hp a motor can handle can handle, before needing to do internals
I know this is probably a dumb question. But can you guys turn a regular Integra Into this ?
I wonder if the CEL light comes on?
Well done PRL
Hey, Mike! Does PRL offer that High Volume intake for my '23 TLX Type-S??
No
Only stage 1
Unfortunately they do not offer HVI for the TLX-S at this time
Where u get the nice hardware for the intake box?
It comes with the High Volume Intake Kit
@@ahcgarage for real?! Now im even more happy I pre ordered one for my FL5 lol. Looks so good.
Can we get some more tlx type s content?
Stay tuned!
I wish I could get a type s without mark up u guys got any tips
Dallas TX selling below msrp. look around
How much have you spent upgrading everything so far? Just trying to get an idea , so I can do the same/similar to my '24 ITS.if anyone knows any shops in Denver I could partner with to do my upgrades, Id appreciate a reference ! TY in advance
We will going over the total cost once we are done with the build
Wow wow wow!
Cheers!!
Route the intake behind the grill

He's on a custom tune along with E20
@@ahcgarage That explains it. Did Mike run his on regular 91 from the pump?
is there a way to tune the tlx type s 3.0? 2023
Is it stock turbo?
Yes it is
During deceleration why does the engine moves so much?
It meant to do so unless you replace with solid mounts all around
Now you need to upgrade your camera to 4k 60 fps
Hopefully soon :-)
*SATURDAYS ARE FOR THE BOYS!!*
😎🆒️😎
Cheers!!
@@ahcgarage LOVE THIS CHANNEL! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, GUYS!

For the next video maybe a little background music

An upgraded clutch should be next.
Stock clutch can hold up to 450hp.
@@ahcgarage “can hold” , but how much abuse can it take, that’s the question?!
@carloschaqui8234 there's an "abuse" rating on clutches? Maybe don't abuse your clutch
Excelente 👌
a lot more power to the front wheels, how's it handling torque steer? sorry if you spoke on this in the video.
GOOD JOB☆☆☆☆☆
Thank you
Can I have it?
I do not like the way the engine shook at 29:32. Wow, that looked bad.
Rev limiter
I prefer having no music. thank you
So like $600 for 5hp? Not worth it.
14 lb of torque 😊
$460 for noise
Can I get the links for the radium tank and the charge pipes? I can not find them on prl ..
acurahondaclassic.com/collections/2024-integra-type-s
14:39 lmao
i'm glad i ain't the only one who caught that xD
Ha!
That’s what I was suggesting about Tjs type s before because those aluminum intakes soak up heat But some other tard commented and said he knows what he’s doing. If u want cooler temps stay away from aluminum
I agree the stock box on most of these new car's are pretty efficient and work just fine
It doesn’t seem that the aluminum piping has any disadvantage to the car since I’m still making over 400hp and also aluminum charge piping is nothing new been using them on all turbo cars for a while never really made a big difference in iat
Under the car moving air will create a low pressure zone that will draw air out of the air box helping fresh air entering the box by the top.
👍🏻🇺🇸

$1,500 for 50hp
Good deal, impossible to do on an NA car

I hear those integra type s can’t keep up with a limited edition civic type r 😉
You heard wrong
They can’t they just pass them instead 😂
Integra Type S > Civic Type R
All that for a FWD car 😂
Glad that your just realized
Will the dealer cover the warranty if there are issues with the engine after such an upgrade?

If you’re asking, don’t mod your car. If you can’t pay for a new engine then don’t do it.
