And they last for ever I have a 2005 Scion xB that’s has over 230k miles and I haven’t change the timing chain yet only regular maintenance like fuel, air, and oil filters the tires and regular oil change etc! My cousin owns a 2006 Corolla with 350k miles and nothing just regular maintenance 😉

I'm not arguing Landover or jaguar is manufactured in India but they come under TATA and that is an Indian company.
If they branded their cars this way no one would buy them. In fact, Volvo is one of the few companies I know of that puts a national flag in their interior and it is Swedish. They should put Chinese flag if they think they are chinese brand
Had a Volvo S40 as a company car once.

it is true that people mostly don't get to know the things which India does like in this case only we can see the it is written that jaguar is a british company but Tata motors of India had bought it in 2008 only . It's been a long time since then

@@GS7999 what Im refering to is the heritage, Jaguar and Landrover were born in the UK and thats the only reason they are still considered british cars, Lamborghini is owned by a German company but its still considered Italian cause thats where it came from.
When they say Jaguar is a british car they are refering to its heritage not ownership.
I know its a little confusing but thats just how it works in the motoring world, I dont make the rules but even Tata dont declare Jaguar and Landrover as Indian cars. None of this is my opinon I'm stating the facts and how it actually works.

People need to stop confusing the brand with ownership. A foreign company (Say, Tata) might own a brand (Jaguar/ Landrover), but the vehicles are still designed, developed in the UK, it's country of origin, so it's a British car brand owned by an Indian company.

A company has its own separate legal entity hence LAND ROVER AND JAGUAR are still a British brand company.because they both the companies are registered in their own home country.
