Agree that colour analysis should be a “guide”. It’s wild seeing people throw away clothes and makeup and just decide to never wear a specific set of colours?! I actually think it can be a bold choice to go against “your” colours and wear something that makes you look striking instead. Like wear that lilac eyeshadow if you’re olive, you’ll look even more green but that’s kinda cool!

My husband says he can’t look at her either. For me it’s just her lips - but also realize that unfortunately once you start overfilling your lips, they then “deflate” so you are stuck doing this.
As a millennial I got to grow up without the “social media matrix”. Those times in my youth are so precious and nostalgic to me, it was a different world (scary because it wasn’t even long ago, but feels like it was 100 years ago). Many of my female millennials and gen x friends have a similar mindset that you do. This video was SO it. Please keep making stuff like this. We need these voices, especially for Gen z and younger-they have to be so strong at such a young age because of fleeting trends and social pressure that is VERY hard to avoid. Critical thinking and “taking things with a grain of salt” is more crucial now than ever. I love your content, Kait. 🫶🏼
Personally I’ve been appreciative of the thinner brows trend because I am realising it suits my features better. I haven’t even gone really 90’s thin, just a little thinner than I used to go, and I feel it’s a big difference!
Same!! I had thin brows back in the day, then just panicked for like 15 years because skinny brows weren't cool anymore, but I didn't look good with thicker brows - so I was constantly trying to keep them thick but would always pluck them a little too thin because it looked better on my face. So annoying! Within the past year I finally felt confident enough to go back to a skinny, SKINNY brow, and holy crap, they look SO much better. I am never going back, trends be damned.
also idk i’m sorry but why can’t we all just do what we want? and wear what we want? not having that *thing* necessarily be aligned with what *suites* you the best - who’s cares uh
Dark under eye circles are now trendy?? Wow, I’m suddenly the trendiest person around 😅😂 On another note, you do not need to change how you look because of rude comments!! Or any kind of comments. You do you 😊
No, dark circles aren’t trendy. Putting color that isn’t really a dark circle under your eyes if you don’t have dark circles is trendy. There’s a difference. What’s hilarious is that I watched a tutorial for one that actually showed using concealer under the eyes THEN applying product. I was gobsmacked. Most of the time the color people are using for this “trend” isn’t actually the color most people have under their eyes. And it’s only in certain places, not all over like real dark circles.
@@jessicadawson2353 …okay lol. I was mostly joking. I don’t really care if real or fake dark circles are “trendy.” I have them naturally and I probably always will. I conceal them the best I can because that’s what makes me feel most confident!
I am soooooo glad that as I’ve aged(my current age is 53), I give less & less sh#ts about what others think. Trends for makeup, clothing etc, I rarely pay attention to them. I pretty much wear a full face of makeup 5 days a week, weekends too if I’m going out. I wear bold wild color combos on my eyes and glitter etc.... it’s art-for the face. If you don’t like the way I look, look somewhere else! I do my makeup for me, not others lolzzzzz 😂
lol same! I work in non profit PR, so I do have a special (boring) routine for events or when I may need to do media, as my artsy eyes do not translate to video well. but 90% of the time, I’m just at the office or doing informal outreach visits, and I love decorating myself! It’s funny, I do a fully “done” eye, then the rest of my face is meant to look as natural as possible. I like a k beauty face with a western eye look lol. Mmmm I did olive & emerald yesterday, what shall today be?
@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory ohhhhhhh green is my favorite color, it sounds fabulous! Imma Taurus we are an earth sign that loves blues greens and earthy browns 💋👏🏻❤️
A true sign of self confidence and assured ness is doing things that make you happy and knowing it won’t be accepted by everyone ❤❤ I do also fear that teens obsession with looking good disallows them to realize that looking good is probably the least interesting thing
The androgyny thats bleached brows bring to the table is so fascinating because are such a defining feature. I hadn’t thought about the fact that brows could factor into gender expression but i absolutely agree that they could!!
I absolutely love your “photo time capsule” and I completely agree with you on these points!!! Makeup and beauty are about creativity and self-expression, and we should celebrate that. It’s beautiful that we have this particular outlet. And yes, we are damaging kids by not allowing them to have “messy” phases.
Also - people like you, influencers who say, “I’m making this beauty choice because I want to and I don’t care what others say,” is the kind of role model we need for young people.
As someone who lived through the late 90s and 2000s there are so many people from that era that regret plucking their eyebrows, I recommend using a mini shaver and keeping eyebrow plucking to a minimum
WAIT WAIT WAIT THE PICTURE OF YOU WITH THE BLUE SCARF AND THE BANGS???? Kait I literally had to go back and just STARE at it omg that is such a beautiful picture of you, first of all, but it’s just such a cool and like,, editorial image in general. I love it so much thank you for sharing that one :))
Am I the only one that grew up fat and just accepted being ugly and now all of these trends don't affect me at all?? I feel really sorry for everyone hyperfixating on all of those things, I'd wish we were nicer to each other ❤❤
I didn't grow up fat but, I didn't care that other people thought I was ugly so there was always that. I like some trends but I don't CARE to follow them and that's the part that bewilders me! How people will change immediately because something is a new trend and not think twice if it suits them or if they even like it! I'm 30 and some my age or even older try to follow trends that younger people like and I just think that by this age they should be more certain of what THEY like and not be like "I put on a lip gloss because apparently matte lips are out!" like damn, wear what you like, try out trends that seem fun and aim to be comfortable and happy with your appearance, people. You're nice to feel sorry for them, I feel like I'm getting frustrated by the people in my life who are like this 😅
yeah same, I can't even follow those trends cause everything looks bad on me 😂 I can't wear much makeup or I'll look like a clown, great, I don't waste my time trying to do heavy makeup. I also lack skills, so instead of contouring, I had to accept my fat face and big nose 😅 I'll hide my naked eyes behind glasses, put on some neutral lipstick and I'm ready for work 😅
I grew up thin as a rake and small, so no clothes fit me, even xs was too big. So I peaced out of fashion, and makeup doesn't interest me and never has
I grew up thin and being told I was ugly by my peers, but I always liked looking at trends, some of it was cute, liked wearing what I thought was cute whether it was trendy or not.
Controversial opinion but choose your brows depending on facial features. Kate Moss suits thin brows as really delicate bone structure. Softer facial features or larger nose etc suit softer, thicker brows
Kait this was very informative and you surely did as usual a great amount of work here. Kait you are one of a kind and I see great things in your future as a TH-camr as you are very unique with your content. I really appreciate you and all of your hard work, you go girl!
Also really glad I grew up before the age of social media. And as someone who’s not on TikTok, I appreciate you making this conversation interesting and digestible for me. Yay for Thumper! Also, I think one of the things I’ve appreciated about watching certain actresses age, is they haven’t appeared to get work done. They are more striking to me because of it. I know Maggie Smith was a tremendous talent in general, but I also liked watching her in her later roles because she felt real overall.
15:10 I would LOVE a whole video about pretty privilege. Ik there are a ton already, but ur takes r always so respectful and well thought out so I would love to hear u talk about that
Same! Funny when she was talking about looking back at photos and being able to tell exactly what time it was in I’m like I can’t relate cause for the most part my hair and makeup hasn’t changed much at all (for makeup it may have changed a little but for the most part not noticeable in photos).
@@melissajeannekand here's me who experimented a lot, it's so funny looking back 😅 only red lipstick, smokey eyes, colorful eyebrows, no makeup, glitter and rhinestones lol you name it ✨
Another problem with color analysis is that everyone is suddenly an expert on it and sell their "services" which can be misleading and end up mistyping their clients, this because of the seasonal approach itself that uses a romantized language instead of actual color theory, this results on people believing what they're been told instead of being critical of what they actually see when wearing certain colors, they even talk about colors like "us this a Bright spring or a cool winter blue" thinking they can ONLY wear the one that's specific of their subseason, like... Girl, both share the exact same characteristics of being blue and bright, it won't necessarily make such a difference 😅
I’m a big fan of the colour season systems but not as a really strict thing! I love the idea of a trend that actually does focus more on what works best for you specifically as opposed to what’s trendy. But I look at the whole idea as more of a spectrum of best colours to not so best colours! Not that only certain colours are ok for me and the rest are off limits.
Seriously!!!!? As an artist with neutral-warmish skin, I wish people would just take a few selfies in different lighting conditions and then use the color picker from Instagram to create different skin lighting "pallettes" and then put that color next to some Pinterest pins . They would save so much money.
"Color Me Beautiful" right? I cannot believe it's here again - I first had my colors done by a friend who was about to devote her life to this overrated concept as one of the first consultants. It was in the 1970s and it hasn't changed a bit. Go your own way -- you spend this video talking about individualism and not listening to social media critics-- and Color Me Beautiful is yet another "do this don't do that.." Time to find your own self respect and sense of self- and not relying on the trends in videos. Your real self is what's there when the phone is off and so is your make up.
I just shave my brows if I want to change them, they grow back superfast of course but I like that, I like to change them whenever I feel like it and they just grow back.
People feel so terrible about themselves for no reason. It's so discouraging to me as someone in the beauty industry, it makes me wonder if i am capitalizing on people's insecurities. Too many people ask if I can fix their microscopic "flaws". For me, beauty is fun, exciting, and good for my health and I wish other people got to experience that without the additional baggage.
I had "pillow face" because I was on steroids for a couple years to fight an autoimmune issue. I assumed the celebs who looked "puffy" were just aging or on a medication that causes swelling. Silly me. I don't automatically think 'filler" or "botox" when I see someone's face change a little as they get older. Weight loss/weight gain can change your appearance. So can illness.
@@StateofKaitMy rheumatologist talked to me about what she termed “moon face” to describe my round, fuller face due to almost a year of steroid epidurals. She didn’t refer to it as pillow face.
the under-eye trend reminds me of when I hated my tan skin because I thought that's what made me ugly as a child but then girls were getting tans as teens and noted they loved my skin. I just learned this undereye trend so maybe I should love my hereditary undereyes I always hated and embrace it lol.
Yes embrace them!!!! To be fair my under eyes aren’t super dark but I’ve loved letting them show instead of hiding them with concealer for a few years! It used to be an insecurity but now I really appreciate them 🥰 Many generations of people have found beauty in your features ❤️
I LOVE the more natural looking eyebrows. Not so much thick or thin. Just nicely groomed natural looking brows. Tortured anything is never great. I believe nostalgia is a trap. I can’t go back and be the person I was in the past. I can’t be my younger self, I want to be the best version of myself now.
I would argue that people look more similar than before, because of the rise of plastic surgery and the discouragement of people doing their makeup different from the flavor of the month
as someone who's done art their whole life, colour analysis rubs me the wrong way because it's so simplified. I get that colour theory can be hard but it's not a monumental task to learn. if you can sit around and learn colour analysis, you can do the same with colour theory.
I am not on TickTock and I have to say, I have never been happier. I have never heard of some of these trends and I am thankful for that. 🙂 Really appreciate the intelligent commentary.
Dude, facial symmetry is just eugenics, like let’s talk about which ethnicities are best based on nose shape, this isn’t new, not calling it what it is is dangerous
The lighthearted ending with thumper immediately put a smile on my face after such serious topics that make me question humanity and I thank you immensely for that 🥰
I think you could do a thinner brow without plucking, all you need to do is comb them horizontally and maybe use a razor to make the ends a litte sltraighter, that’s all I do 💁🏻
I hadn't considered that, thanks! I only pluck little stray hairs so I'm terrified of touching my brows, but I'd really like a little more shape to them.
I was going to say that, too. You can just brush the bottom part of the brow up, and the top part down, to get them into a thinner shape without losing any hairs. I did this in the early 2000s instead of plucking them super thin, thank God, because they never recovered from the relatively restrained plucking I did do. (Which we were all warned not to do by mothers who obliterated their own brows in the 70s)
As a 52 year old woman I have lived through so many beauty trends. I can look at a photo & know immediately when it was taken based on my hair & makeup. It’s your personal time capsule, embrace it. Also, your eyebrows are beautiful.
22:27 that’s so weird cause every time I see that Timothee Chalamet guy, I always think about how he looks like he belong in some much older era, something before the 1900s
I think that people are right to warn that overplucking eyebrows are permanent, because a person could regret that decision in the future- I definitely recommend putting concealer onto eyebrows and drawing thin eyebrows on top first, so they can test drive the look first
The photo you shared of your teased out hair really got me. Fantastic. RE: undereye circles - mine are both hereditary bags and circles, and when I try to "hide" them, the worse I look in any makeup, so I've quit. Lastly, I'd hate for all of us to look the same through every era, because it would be a damn shame if we didn't keep the memories, as you said. (I wore a crap-ton of copper and red eyeshadow with heavy eyeliner and mascara and glossy red lips in '04-'06 because I had *just* enough money to buy some MAC cosmetics. It was an interesting time, to say the least!)
I would be super conscious about the way that filter creates the thin brow, because if your brow hair don't actually grow in the directions that the filter suggests or aren't quite as full as the filter make it seem, you're going to end up with a very different look if you try to recreate it, and once it's done, you're stuck with it for a long, long time. At minimum, if you're gonna thin your brow, I would see a professional beautician, at least to create the shape you want with you, with clear instructions on how to maintain it for the future.
OMG, I’m 51 and I’m so happy I grew up without the internet. Never had Twitter, don’t have TikTok. I have my little FB page for family and friends. LinkedIn & Instagram, which I’m never on, they’re just an app on my phone. I love watching an assortment with different views on any given subject. Also I love to read actual books. I have permanent books in my collection but also getting them from a public library.
Your brows are gorgeous now. I, too, was told by my mother to never touch mine but in my 20s, I caved into an aesthetician pressuring me once and allowed her to do some plucking and my mom noticed immediately. Now I’m 43 and I’m so glad I [mostly] heeded her advice! 😂
I do agree with your color analysis. I do also sometimes ignore mine - because ART 🎨👩🏻🎤 You can wear your “least best shades” away from your face. Intense Navy, Black, and brights are not right for me. I can get away wearing those colors just as pants & coordinating my top & jewelry with shades that better suit me. I’ll wear black yoga pants with a top suited to my color scheme; I’m a soft summer.
Anyone who hates on your brows is just jealous. I overplucked mine when I was younger and they never fully came back. I'd kill to have bigger brows like you do 😩
color analysis has helped a lot when it comes to makeup, because I exclusively wear black, navy blue and dark plum for most of a decade now (funny enough, I’m a dark winter) so improving my closet wasn’t really a priority I’ve always felt weird with lipstick or trendy blushes. It was after color analysis that I realized that “ah, okay, so I wasn’t crazy! my MLBB lipstick is in fact deep plum” 😅 in fact, whenever there’s a launch I’m interested I just ignore it if it exclusively has bright+warm shades and it’s great!
This is this first video of yours that I have seen. I just want to say that you are such a breath of fresh air compared to all the toxic gas produced by social media. So often people get so caught up with staying on trend that they don't actually stop to think or reflect. We don't all have to be the same and our uniqueness is what makes us beautiful 💕
As someone with naturally thin brows with dermatitis I am LOVING that thin brows are becoming trendy again but in a more modern way. Trying to fake the thick, defined brow look with my seborrheic dermatitis flared up was an absolute nightmare. Like you said I’m really glad that there seems to be more room for different trends and styles in different places. In the past there definitely was more pressure to conform to certain trends.
I don't pluck my eyes as pencil thin as I did in the 00s, but I've always preferred them on the thinner side than what's been trendy in the last 10-12 years. Thinner brows just look better in me.
The brows, I was in college in 99-2003, and I went with the thin brows. They did grow back some, but never to what they were. Then I developed hoshimotos, and as is typical with hypothyroidism, my brows have thinned again. I had powder brow tattooing done over the summer and I LOVE it. But, I wasn’t happy with how thin and uneven my brows were. Thin brows look great on a lot of people. Do I regret it…I don’t know. But isn’t that part of the fun looking back on trends!
Every single time I see someone saying not to touch your brows, it's accompanied with a cautionary tale about theirs not growing back because of consistent damage over time to the follicles. Thank goodness I was too lazy to keep this up. Looked great on me, but I'm grateful to have my full brow still. If you want to pluck your brows and also stick it to us millennials, bless your heart.
For what it is worth re: color analysis… everyone’s skin has certain OVERtones that might determine their foundation color, but for personal color analysis everyone has a certain UNDERtone. So since they told you that you are a spring - you are generally warm/neutral warm…but yes your overtone can be considered “cool” by makeup industry standards. think of a woman of color, like someone from India - the surface tones of her skin are noticeably tanner and probably look visibly warmer, but many women of color have cool undertones. I hope that makes a sliver of sense. I do personal color analysis and I am also a spring. I love to wear warm colors, but yes when it comes to makeup I have a lot of pink in my skin which sometimes means my foundations are cool or neutral. Love your videos - keep up the great work!
I truly love your channel! Trends are just that - trends! If people could just learn to live and let live regardless of age or genre, life would be so much softer xx
I'm really so glad that at the age of 47, I do what I think looks best on me and care nothing about trends anymore. I wish I would not have plucked my thick brows so thin in the 90s and early 2000's because now they are pretty much gone and I have to spend at least 20 minutes drawing them on every day.
i'm so lucky to be a gen Z who was a kid/tween during the time where i wasn't using apps like tiktok to make me self conscious about the way i looked. i was allowed to be weird or plain looking without people on my phone judging me and putting me down. now as an 18 year old i feel so much more happy with the way i look than most people my age who spent all their time on tiktok, it's so sad that these people will probably become even more self conscious about themselves as they age and become "old" according to what the next generation deems that to be
A lot of times the filters on tiktok modify not only the one thing that you wanted but also for example your eyes as well as your brows so I wouldn't trust them 100%
When you showed the picture of you in the yellow shirt, I was thinking, "That's a picture from 2016," and two seconds later you said it was from 2016! You look amazing!❤

hahah exactly what I was thinking as I was literally just reading more about how to better conceal them because they are so bad nowadays hahaha
I love your perspective on beauty trends. Thank you for saying out loud that there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to our makeup choices.
Teens are not obsessed with looking good, but with not being singled out and bullied. You've watched too many "teen" movies, it seems.
Wow, thank you! I think that picture is super embarrassing but that’s very sweet of you to say
@@annabelle69 yes love that picture! Those bangs!! So cute
I immediately thought, teen magazine photo shoot. Absolutely stunning.
I THOUGHT THE SAME! It stopped me in my tracks. So fab.
You have such a healthy mindset, and I love it!
I hope it‘s not wrong of me to say that those thinner brows look absolutely gorgeous on you
Really do!😊
you look so good with thinner brows
She really does. Makes you look so much Sexier I think.😊
Totally agree on the color analysis. It should be a tool or guideline not the law!
I am talking you out of the thin brows Kait, I love your brows and I think you are naturally so beautiful.
Thanks, Joanne! That’s so kind of you to say
You look beautiful in all of your makeup choices. You are lovely.
15:10 I would LOVE a whole video about pretty privilege. Ik there are a ton already, but ur takes r always so respectful and well thought out so I would love to hear u talk about that
I don’t follow trends as much . I style myself with my own preferences . I don’t have tik tok .This really helps to stay out of the endless trends
And none of them cater for olive skinned people! I don't think we're such a minority 🫤
Go your own way -- you spend this video talking about individualism and not listening to social media critics-- and Color Me Beautiful is yet another "do this don't do that.."
Time to find your own self respect and sense of self- and not relying on the trends in videos.
Your real self is what's there when the phone is off and so is your make up.
This! I feel like it's enough to try on different coloured clothes and wear what you like the most or what suits you the most.
I just shave my brows if I want to change them, they grow back superfast of course but I like that, I like to change them whenever I feel like it and they just grow back.
Nina Dobrev definitely looks so lovely with thin brows! It just works so beautifully for her face!
As a 60-year old who has never been heavily into makeup or fashion, I am loving your channel. Your topics are fascinating and I love your delivery.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely! But pillow face is not synonymous with puffiness or weight gain, it only refers to the over-injected effect.😊
Really appreciate the intelligent commentary.
Dude, facial symmetry is just eugenics, like let’s talk about which ethnicities are best based on nose shape, this isn’t new, not calling it what it is is dangerous
I want to talk you out of the thin brows… but they just suit your face so well 😍
Thank you for this video. I hope tons of people see it and take it to heart.
I find your videos really refreshing and addicting. Thanks for the hard work! I appreciate it
The lighthearted ending with thumper immediately put a smile on my face after such serious topics that make me question humanity and I thank you immensely for that 🥰
I think you could do a thinner brow without plucking, all you need to do is comb them horizontally and maybe use a razor to make the ends a litte sltraighter, that’s all I do 💁🏻
I hadn't considered that, thanks!
1:45 I didn’t even know we had a BROW industry. There’s an industry for everything now! lol
Loved your fun and interesting video, Kait! But I gotta admit, Thumper's nap was the BEST part!! Take good care.
It was his 12th birthday yesterday so I had to throw that in :)
@StateofKait Aww! Happy 12th Birthday to your precious Thumper! May he celebrate many more. 💙
Great, my naturally thin brows are in fashion 😂
A very thoughtful and considered video - thank you
As a 52 year old woman I have lived through so many beauty trends. I can look at a photo & know immediately when it was taken based on my hair & makeup. It’s your personal time capsule, embrace it. Also, your eyebrows are beautiful.
I'm from the disco era. We wore thin arched brows and did the hustle and roller skated everywhere. I'm happy the brows grew back 🎉!❤
22:27 that’s so weird cause every time I see that Timothee Chalamet guy, I always think about how he looks like he belong in some much older era, something before the 1900s
Your commentary on color analysis is so real, I’ve been stressing about wearing colors outside my palette when I shouldn’t give a fuck
Exactly, it literally doesn't matter. Wear what you like.
I think that people are right to warn that overplucking eyebrows are permanent, because a person could regret that decision in the future- I definitely recommend putting concealer onto eyebrows and drawing thin eyebrows on top first, so they can test drive the look first
love how your brows are now , i think they’d look dope with some messy slightly darkening gel/patrick ta type brow stuff
the thin brows would be such a slay on you!
those thin brows ate, that pam anderson makeup filter looks amazing on you!
Haha thank you, I was kinda into it 😂
I absolutely love that look.😊
I really love that you reflect on trends in the context of culture and history!
I’m a person that never left my emo phase. The bold/dark undereye makeup has always been a part of my look. 😅
Your videos are always so articulated and informative. Great job
Happy birthday thumper!!! I hope you get all the belly rubs and treats!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you!! We’re giving him a brisket dinner tonight 😊🐶
you look so pretty even in those past photos of you!
Just popping in to say YOU'RE A VAMPIRE annnnddd you look great with the thin brows!! 😍😊
I do agree with your color analysis. I do also sometimes ignore mine - because ART 🎨👩🏻🎤
You can wear your “least best shades” away from your face. Intense Navy, Black, and brights are not right for me. I can get away wearing those colors just as pants & coordinating my top & jewelry with shades that better suit me. I’ll wear black yoga pants with a top suited to my color scheme; I’m a soft summer.
i really like the trend about the sabrina carpenter look and hope to see more of it. btw incredibly facial harmony on that napping dog
Hahahhhhhhah
The photo you showed from the past, like, you look fabulous on all of them
Such a fascinating video. Love the history!
Anyone who hates on your brows is just jealous. I overplucked mine when I was younger and they never fully came back. I'd kill to have bigger brows like you do 😩
Every time I do my brows really thin I get so many compliments on them especially when I wear glasses
Your hair looks so good like this! Feel like it fits really well with your features
OMG AAAALLLLLL of your pictures from the past are SO stunning!!!
Thank you for all the work you put into these videos! The included quotes from a variety of sources is wonderful.
Glad you like them!
I love thinner brows on myself! I have a high forehead so it actually helps it look smaller and I feel like they’re more feminine on myself
color analysis has helped a lot when it comes to makeup, because I exclusively wear black, navy blue and dark plum for most of a decade now (funny enough, I’m a dark winter) so improving my closet wasn’t really a priority
I’ve always felt weird with lipstick or trendy blushes.
Thumper! Living his best life ❤️
He really is! He turned 12 yesterday 😭
Yes do it. Thin them just a bit. Do a subtle arch!
Style changes. It’s supposed. It’s why it’s fun. There’s always a next new design thing. I
Don’t think we need to regret our past trends or styles.
As a fellow millennial, all of your makeup looks over the years were fire. Beautiful no matter what
For what it is worth re: color analysis… everyone’s skin has certain OVERtones that might determine their foundation color, but for personal color analysis everyone has a certain UNDERtone. Love your videos - keep up the great work!
oh god now I have to consider my OVER tones?! Jeez, I need to do more research! Thanks for the help.
I do find it really weird she was told she is high contrast. I don’t think she is at all…
I truly love your channel! Trends are just that - trends! If people could just learn to live and let live regardless of age or genre, life would be so much softer xx
Thank you!!
I'm really so glad that at the age of 47, I do what I think looks best on me and care nothing about trends anymore. I wish I would not have plucked my thick brows so thin in the 90s and early 2000's because now they are pretty much gone and I have to spend at least 20 minutes drawing them on every day.
I have blush blindness, always have because I love blush 😂 am I going to stop, nope.
i'm so lucky to be a gen Z who was a kid/tween during the time where i wasn't using apps like tiktok to make me self conscious about the way i looked. i was allowed to be weird or plain looking without people on my phone judging me and putting me down. now as an 18 year old i feel so much more happy with the way i look than most people my age who spent all their time on tiktok, it's so sad that these people will probably become even more self conscious about themselves as they age and become "old" according to what the next generation deems that to be
Your brows look amazing but the slightly thinner ones in the filter look good too!
Hate to tell you ladies but if you pluck them thin you’re stuck with that look for life
