Noteworthy is that loot is generated inside ruins/dungeons as soon as you come near it for the first time that it loads into the game. If you create a save while far away from a ruin you've never been near to ( quite a big range, similar range to the range towns start loading) and then explore it and reload save, ruin will have different loot in containers all the time
I've been in that scraphouse. Didn't even know it had an upstairs section :-((... Never even thought to look. I just assumed it was a dead end shed with nothing inside it. DOH*
i'll share another tip i figured, those spider robots have some sort of an area/perimeter bound at which point they will not go any further, and it seems to be the same range/radius that is the building range limit (when it's blue when trying to place), so all u need is 5 building materials to build a small shack a couple meters away from that limit and shoot at them from there (close the door if it, somehow, u know pathfinding in this game, gets too close) with some crossbows.. easy win.. also doing it from below a tent (1 animal skin or 1 fabric) in the acid rain areas helps and is lighter and cheaper but more dangerous talking about crossbows, if you want a good protection for your base, just put some crossbowmen (not turret, like that u can train them at it) on a section of a wall, and then just dismantle the ramp to prevent access.. do that on two wall sections facing each other with a food storage box on each , and ur good for days ; )
Yeah I've noticed that as well about the guardians of locations. I think it also applies to city gate guards, making you able to kite them out into the open.
Sweet dude thankyou for this video! I thought kenshi was just cities I had no idea that there were ruins/treasure troves littered around the map. I thougth maybe you just bought everything from a shop and that's how you progressed your research. Also thanks for the handy tip of carrying crossbows for kiting slow enemies I kinda thought crossbows were kinda worthless.
only 50 hours in, day 99. got a 6 man squad with beep, infinite wingwang, rane, kang, dr chungus. got some vital stats up to the 50 - 60 range for most but still feel weak as hell. I'm another 25 hours away from advanced science anything. top video
Get more squad members at this point. You got a solder squad. Now get farmers and crafters(you may need some mercnaires to build your first base, or just get some place in a city). You want masterwork gear for everyone which isnt that hard if you get someone early game constantly training the smithing skills.
Hello again ;) The hunt continues, been in some rather scary locations with a 7 man team. Usually had to camp multiple times to heal lol.... The grid...... running into a beak nest. Killed them all, 20 eggs. And just kept getting raided on the way back home lol. Engineering research is the goal, bigger walls :) The hunt continues 😎
Get someone set up close to Black Desert City to get regulars restocks of masterwork cybernetics. Craft your masterwork armor and watch as damage does nothing to you lol.
Thank you man, fior this turorial and for your other vids! I am so hooked to this game, I've been playing it for about a monht already and I just got into the more advanced stuff in it. Your videos are well made,I like your voice, your editind is just enough, it's not too much, and it's informative,, and gives you all the info you need. In other vids - in more details, in this, in just enough. And I see you have only 201 subs, so I'm the 202nd I guess, but your content is 10.10, obv work of love & passion! That's why I enjoy yo7r things so much, and I had to sub like a week ago, after the 1st vid of yours I watched, to show you my appreciation to what you do, in a way I can (without having to write long comments, which, i gues, is the 3rd way to do it, besides watching you & sub.. Oh, right, I'll start leaving 'a like" too, from now on!;) Thanbks for these vids mate, again! Be happy and live long!XD
You can also get some easy ancient science books at the "Suspicious lab" (4:22)... they dont always spawn but its basically no real risk involved if you just get the loot on the bottom floor... also when you are in the building check every floor before you proceed and dont just walk up the stairs like my dumbass XD I would say you need atleast level 21 to be able to unlock everything... 5% for level 65 locks iirc The ancient lab you showed was the first one I explored and I got mauled by spiderbots because the water slowed my squad down... and I just had Nodachi and some crossbows lol Sneaking at night is probably easier than fighting If you want to compare how my equipment was: I had a 12 man squad (1x lvl 60, 2x lvl 50, 5x 40 to 30) and 4 crossbow man (all lvl 30) + an Elder Pack Bull... all have Specialist or High quality Drifters Armor and Catun 1 or 2 weapons (mostly Nodachi/Katana and 3 Planks) and a few Mk and Masterwork equipment I found
Tbh if your athletics skill is high you can just run around the lab and loot every unlocked crate, spiders won't be able to hit you because their movement speed is 11 mph (I think 30 athletics will do) but you won't be able to unlock locked crates either.
