U2 is one of those bands that understands that rock shows should always be about spectacle. Saw them on the Zoo Tv Tour in the 90s. They were incredible.
I was right in the middle of that sea, red hot chilli peppers played just before them man that was a hard act to follow but boy they did. Nearly 100k people that year🤯
for me U2 are in the top 3 Live band ever. Perfection, soul, sound and scene. U2 concert is not only a music event, it's an experience that you will never forget
I was at this show with my late husband. The energy in that arena was incredible… my ears are still ringing. One of the best memories I have of my husband is being at this show with him.

Was only three when this concert took place. My stepdad was there. He passed away in 2019 but always talked how this was the best concert he had ever been to.

After all the excess and theatrics of the 90s tours, they brought it back to basics with the Elevation and Vertigo tours. And Bono's dad had died not long before this show so you can tell he was working some things out on this performance. They just gave it. Only band recently that came close to this was Stars when they played the Phoenix in Toronto after 18 months of sitting in park because of the pandemic. Torq and Amy gave it. Reminded me of this.

I was there. What a beautiful day it was indeed. Great line up, Nelly Fertado got pulled off the stage to put the second half of the Ireland match on. The whole fucking place erupted when Ireland scored. Moby was brilliant too. What a day. Just before 9/11 too. Things were never the same again.
