Just put it on cold water and change out the water every 30-40 minutes took my 14 pound turkey about 9 hours to completely defrost but make sure the water isn’t too cold that turkey won’t defrost within a day

Nawary J you don't need to wash something thats gonna get cooked far past the point where any bacteria can survive. unless it's like, covered in something inedible. also, blood is in literally ALL meatfoods. its very flavorful, in fact. blood has been used in gravies & such since forever.

***** what about the rancidness of the chicken or the turkey !!! specially if it was an organic one , they have a really strong smell .. And also there is some bacteria in the turkey and the chicken that never goes unless you wash them with vinegar or lemon with water , Or even boil it with hot water .. And the gravy can be done with chicken soap , not the blood of uncooked chicken .. Even the steakes , the steak sauce is done by mixing the extra juice that cames out from the steak while you are cooking it with some flour .. They never use the blood of uncooked steak as a gravy

Just made this for Friendsgiving!! This helped me out a lot. This was my first time making a turkey and it came out delicious!! The turkey was the first thing gone! The thighs didn’t cook all the way through so we didn’t eat those, but everything else was incredible and perfectly cooked, thanks tasty!
I made this recipe for my family on Christmas day and they loved it! As someone who has never cooked an important meal like Christmas dinner - let alone turkey - this was an easy and delicious recipe. This shit works!!
