Is "tucking in" part of the dress code, though? I have _sons_ wearing school uniform (so this doesn't apply); but i remember our previous school would not want the girls tweak their uniforms to make the tops fit more tightly and such. Current school has _A-line_ skirts for the girls... Other than that, yes it should work the same with pencil skirts. 😊

I think the tugging would be too much for wool/alpaca sweaters. I’d try this on cotton/polyester though
