    We have audio coming in via RCA from our sound board. Its coming into our Roland V-1HD. When audio comes out of the Roland V-1HD, does it come out of HMDI? Or when you come in with RCA, is the only audio out option RCA (and not HMDI). We really want HDMI out for audio because the our is going into our YOLOLIV YoloBox.

      I don't think you can get HDMI to input into a computer in all honesty. you can buy streaming boxes though with HDMI through to stream to mainstream streaming platforms. as far as I am concerned you cannot stream the HDMI output on a computer.

    Movie making, we're trying to bring our three or four Nikon cameras that are recording a person/s with a green screen that would be keyed out. What I need is my monitor watching 2 people 50/50 on the screen or 3/4 people 25/25/25/25 on screen. key out the green. Now I need to bring the two or four screens of camera recording from the switcher together and have it recorded into one output. Will it do all these things and record it without extra buys other than HDMI Cable? Also what format is in the output. I hope this makes sense. . thanks

    Good review, couple of quick questions for you, Can you "reverse" the color coding [set red for preset and green for program]? Also the BIGGER question I have is this; I've a Win10 PC running software for services, and want to be able to input the PC's HDMI output into the switcher along with a camera feed and be able to do transitions, and capture [record] all of this for uploading to OR streaming live to a website. Is that possible?

    • @nickmandleberg
      @nickmandleberg 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have this unit, if I understand you correctly and you are only using one camera, you can do what you want without a V1HD. You will need a capture card for the V1HD anyway (to input via usb into your PC for streaming/recording) so I would use a capture card for the camera directly into the PC then use OBS (free software) to record or stream (which you can do simultaneously) OBS will allow you to also display whatever you wanted the PC to send to the V1HD but internally via window capture and you can transition between the camera/PC screen professionally. If you need further explanation I can point you in the right direction!

For example, say I have 2 computers hooked up. 1 has power points, the other has videos.. rather than having to plug in a third computer as a source just to have the client logo show, can I show it once, save it in memory temporarily, and then hit the saved key to recall it? this way I can use only 2 sources and use that as a virtual 3rd. HDMI connections will work, make sure your cameras are outputting the same resolution as you will want on the output of the switcher. This switcher does not scale or convert. All input resolutions must match what you want for the output. So you may have to modify your camera settings ahead of plugging into the switcher.
