Thank you, Bob and Brad. I'd had sciatica for nearly 3 months. Sore back (I think my sacro-iliac joint) and pain right down to the top of my foot. I had it before about 2 years ago. The exercises my physio gave me didn't help - made it worse if anything. Anyhow, I tried your nerve flossing. I was cautious and sat on my big dining table and just did 10 reps to see how it would be. Didn't particularly feel good, didn't particularly feel bad when I did it. However, next day, what a difference - significantly better! I did it two or three times a day and after 3 or 4 days, it feels like I'm cured!
A few years ago my arms were in almost constant growing pain and my physical therapist (after some diagnostic visits) had me do nerve flossing with my arms and neck. The relief after even one day was amazing.
my physical therapist recommended tons of exercise and none worked except this one. this one legit helped my back pain and numbness within days! 😍 def recommend this one for sciatica
I did some a recently at my PT session and his exercises worked while there. It made the numbness in my bottom-half and foot go away, but when I went home to try them later, it came back again and my foot bones were sore. I may have done too many exercises in a day and/or used too strong a resistance band (he gave me a level 5 band prior and a level 4 band for the foot exercises.) In summary, you need to find out which exercises work and which don't. I recommend writing down notes. My PT prints the exercises on take-home sheets as reference guides.
@@giggityeffyou Overall, it's a lot better. The tingling/numbness comes and goes, but it's really mild now and I can sleep without problems. The IT band still catches if I put weight on only my right leg and bend slightly from a straight position. Hopefully the catching will go away within 6 months or so. It's been just over 7 months since the injury.
this exercise worked for me the very first time o tried it. the relief was instant. i have tried many exercises for 9 months and nothing worked like this. thank you so so much.
Me too. I can't NOT discuss them without singing they're theme song and ending it with "in our opinion of course". They're very smart in that i think they did this on purpose because the more the viewer watches their channel the more the song and ending is imprinted in the brain. Plus it's a catchy and humble jingle.
Please make a video on how to fix Lateral pelvic tilt. I've been following this channel for a long time and I don't think I've seen a video that addresses this issue with practical excercises. My condition is slightly severe and it has affected my whole body.
Resent back surgeries, yes two the second one was unexpected and have a new issue after surgery that is this. The issue is trouble walking and setting, I am flat 98% of the day. My pt guy has me doing a laying down version of this, so far no improvement. Able to walk or stay on my feet just a few, like less than five minutes before I am back in the bed.
Hi guys! I have issues with my left shoulder and my neck (a bit of a twisted vertebrae in upper back... and not scoliosis), from years of architecture degree hunching followed by years of guitar playing & schlepping guitar amps and other gear about & not stretching/exercising (tsk tsk tsk). Anyhoo I was shown some exercises to “floss the nerves” in my arms / shoulders a while back and I’ve forgotten how to do them!! Do you happen to have a video on flossing the nerves in that area?? Thanks so much. You guys are SUUUUCH FAMOUS physical therapists, wow! ;) Seriously, really appreciate your channel & the sense o humour. All the bestest, -Maddy
Madeline Tasquin they do. Search in TH-cam for shoulder arm pain. I remember some from a while back and I think they’re still uploaded on their channel.
@@smilesmile7330 Thanks so much! Wow you're right they have a BUNCH. Will be starting with this one first... testing first what's going on: th-cam.com/video/hPlmEFOeK0s/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much for this video. Last week I pinpointed my leg and foot pain to being sciatica. I have never seen this exercise before, I love it. Had some relief the first time. Next day more in addition to using stacked pillows while sleeping. This series is so helpful, thank you for your clear and helpful exercises. Keep up the good work.
I really appreciate you focusing on sciatica. I'm in week 6 of extreme pain, I have meds that sort of help, but I can't get real help because of the pandemic. :(
Thanks for another great video! I've been having pain in my forearms for about 8 weeks now (presumably RSI from using a laptop and playing guitar). It causes pain even with small tasks like holding a phone or reading a newspaper. I've followed the RICE method as best I can, but I'd appreciate any advice you have in how to recover from such an injury. Thanks!
hi..thnks for the videos..how often shoulf therapy and exercise be done..once or twice a day..before or after a shower...i hve my sister who has had a stroke nd has paralysis on left side...the hand was tight nd hand was fixed in a fist...after sum therapy massaging nd exercise..the arm is now on the side..but is lame..
It might be a scratch that has to heal up. Swallow some Neosporin. Just kidding about the Neosporin. But... there are some ways to get pain killer in the area. Chloraseptic or Orajel.
Thanks for reply doctor givs me ambroxol for mucus by the throat but after 5 days i got dirrhea 2 times a day on the 2nd day i take suave oral and fortasec and stop ambroxol, for how many days i take this forta sec because now i have just bloating
Hi! Can we continue to run and do strength exercises while doing Nerve Flossing every day? Or better stop everything else? My left hamstring is hurting for the last 2 years now (I'm still able to run everyday but it's always start to feel uncomfortable after 45 minutes of running). From the video i saw on youtube, I think I have nerve tension. I have also some small lower back issues for the last 5 months also. Thanks.
So is this one of the rare stretches that you only do on one side? Non-sympathetic nerves? Sciatica is a beast but i generally at least give a nod to the non-afflicted side when handling it. Must be a humdinger of a stretch!! Are you out of the basement?? Hope so!!!💜💜💜

Oh my gosh this feels so good and I don’t have any back issues. Learned something great today
I just caught myself saying " In our opinion of course, Bob! Not even realizing I was saying it. My friend is still laughing at me.

I had PT using the MacKenzie method, and it was VERY effective. And I also slept on my stomach! I have Sciatica, Stenosis, arthritis a herniated disk.

Would you only do this with your left leg?
Hi Bob
Can you suggest something about chiropractic treatment.
Thanks if you suggest on the same...

Can’t wait to try this. Nerve pain from Spondylolisthesis and post surgery...this is just what I’ve needed. I will be very careful!

I want a gif of you two just sitting there and flossing ever so slowly. 😆
What if my hamstrings are sore?
Yes my legs are messed up too
it hurts me making these exercises is it normal the fact that it hurts?
Yeah. They said if you can't do the full range of motion, just do what you can.
They said to wait 3-4 days or even a week until you do it again.

Judy Carter nerve flossing can be painful if u do it on the non affected side.
