Your videos perfectly represent what fishing is to me. Careful planning, perseverance, love of nature. And...silence. No need to communicate the sensations that we fishermen feel, those who need to understand will understand on their own. A technical question: don't you think that in similar conditions, maggots in a block end would give better results? Thank you, and compliments.

The river at the moment is brimming with young small fish which would devour maggots, it is however a very effective method in the latter part of the winter and one which I will be using to speak out the big chub. Hi Kinsley, The rod was the Drennan twintip with the 4oz carbon tip, its just about sufficient with a 2oz feeder. Thank you for both watching and taking the time to comment, not only is it good for helping the videos thrive it's good form my soul
