I find Life’s design to be pretty interesting. Instead of being a lady being made of plants (that design is overused), her design is a stark contrast to Death’s design, white and black, bludgeoning and slashing, energy and stillness, life and death.
i just remembered grim reaper is always a bad guy in fiction even though he's just a funny skeleton in a cloak that helps you enter heaven because of that dialogue

@QazIsGone We did a tournament a couple months ago. People voted on head to head matchups of the best Roguelike/lite games. Hades beat Isaac for the top spot.

The third piece of the medallion contains some interesting lore... Turns out the medallion was created by Jacob on Life's request... She gave it to Death as a symbol of their partnership/friendship... She even hugged him and called him her BFF (Business Friends Forever) So you could say that they may have been in some kind of relationship long time ago...
@@DUN48 Definitely knew each other, and from what you said about the medallion the relationship was probably platonic. Being in a platonic relationship still won’t stop her from acting like a crazy sitcom ex, wow.
That's odd because the cutscene right before fighting life even shows the medallions. My understanding is that the something special is the Life fight 😅 I'll do another run without them and see if it ends at the Time fight
It should work. Once you beat Time for the first time. It should unlock the Life storyline. Collect the 3 medallions from lockers and that should get you the Life fight at the end 🤷♂️

It's a pretty cool character. Funny I still think Imamura is the hardest boss for me.

Game is bonkers difficult and runs terribly on Switch.
