I'm still trying to understand how this man took 3 business days to kill some early bosses but literally rolled over the final one
There are curses in the game that are able to permanently increase your attack power, health, or mana every time you take damage. Combine that with curses that reduce the damage taken or heal you over time, along with a considerable amount of patience and… that happens.
I think it was because he was only using the spells and not the scythe for NO REASON.

The thing I love about this game is that Death doesn't actually wanna retire, he just wants a break or atleast get some zone in his bones. He literally says in his brawl with Brad that he doesnt wanna leave the industry. I also like how all of Death's creations rightfully fear his power and or being fired.
Death really does feel like one of the primordial bosses, which makes him feel so cool.
Being fired is probably death just killing them
Fun fact: Every second, 2 people die, and 4 people are born, so Death has a pretty busy job

Will hung: hanging (duh)
Leon clean: probably drank bleach
Pump: alternate version of herself after she ate the fruit
Brad: filters living and dead souls
Pierce Görske: died from a toothpick puncturing his stomach
Candice: sugar rush/overdose
Waldo: fast food obesity
Slyma: literal mutant organism that’s bloodthirsty
X4-H: mutant version of a blobby that can’t sustain itself enough
RJ Barron: air pollutant encourager
Gordon grimes: all pollution
King Dengue: animal transmitted diseases (malaria)
Hector Krank: all diseases but an emphasis on cancer
Dr Heisenberg: did inhumane drug experiments on people in the 60s
Maxxx: unknown addiction anomaly, not even the game knows what he truly is
Camille Flage: war mechanic who died of starvation and became a zombie
Major Pliskhan: all wars
Sinistrocirrus: dude got stuck be lightning and became a cloud, he can predict the future climate
Imamura: literal demigod of nature, could end the world if she chose to.
The bridgets: this games version of the three sisters from Macbeth. Can cut through time itself.

maxxx is not an entity, hes just facing mental illnesses

Each ones job revolves around a different way you can die
Maxxx could be the stress and pressure of work and how it causes people to commit suicide due to their work environment or incapability of finding work
Y’know a way Life and Death could’ve both benefited?
If life created less souls and death took less souls
Then theoretically, they would both have less work

I love the fact that every boss embodies a specific type of death, Maxxx is overdose, Candice is sugar, Will Hung is obviously hanging, and Major Warren Pliskhan is war(probably a bomb or the like)

Lets all be honest though
Both Life and Death here are to blame for the state of the "Have a Nice Death" World
Death brought the Managers into the picture cause he got lazy
And Life wanted to take over Death's Company out of a spiteful goal
They both pretty much screwed up the world due to their spats and the people they let run around
To be also fair; Death wasnt lazy - moreso starting to actually overexert himself to the point of a cricked back and misaligned arm - so he created the sorrows to alleviate the issue.
Only problem is the Sorrows are a bit TOO good at their job - and Life being the way she is only increased production in turn which fed into a vicious cycle - and it didnt help that Life saw Death trying to just recuperate so he COULD do his job as lazy enough to justify a coup to take control of Death Inc: all to avoid overpopulation.
Death was even willing to talk about it peacefully. Life just isn't a nice person in this universe.
Life is unfair, literally.

I cannot be the only one that thinks the end when Death's looking around that he almost reminds me of a bird?? Just looking around in utter confusion until it spots something amazing
I see it as more him making sure that nothing else will ruin his chance for a good vacation this time.
wow i feel bad for death i mean he tired doing his old fashion and the fast route is to create the sorrows to make eazy job. but the sorrows focusing what they doing forget they own boss and make death job more a lot than just stamp
Pretty unique game. I would like to see a version of it where you play as Life and deal with her company and employees.

Some Corrections:
Brad isn't a form of death. His actual job is to manage and regulate reaped souls. It's his incompetence and laziness that's partially responsible for why Death has to do it himself now.
Pump-quinn also doesn't represent anything, except maybe Halloween? She's not a Thanager, just a employee who suddenly mutated into a monster briefly.
X4-H is Genetic Mutation. The stuff that's associated with radioactivity and whatnot.
Richard Baron is Corporate Greed. He funded anti-environmental campaigns, boosted Cryptocurrency, and is funded numerous non-renewable energy projects.
Denzel is insect transmitted diseases. Malaria and whatnot
Hector Krank is just straight up Disease. He is also responsible for Cancer, his proudest creation.
Waldo is obesity/overeating
The cupcake is Diabetes
The Burger is Heart Attacks.
Camille Flage is Starvation
Heisenburg is Pill Overdose
Maxx is illegal drugs. Heroin and whatnot.
Horace is storms
Imamura is natural disasters, and one of her first 'projects' may or may not have been wiping out the dinosaurs.
The Bridget's are Fate, aka 'unfortunate deaths'
Time is Old Age.

I personally think the water lady should have been the final boss. She took the longest to beat. Wait...correction, she is ONE of the bosses that took the longest to beat.
Damn thosse cutscenes are great.
A lot of these bosses feel like characters Danny Phantom would fight.

No puedo evitar compararlo con hollow knight, muchas de sus mecánicas y powe ups son casi las mismas. No pretendo decir que uno es mejor que el otro, pero para aquello que han jugado hollow knight no podrán evitar ver las similitudes
Oh yeah when I first saw it I thought it was from team cherry, hell even the cloak dash is the same as in hollow knight they share a ton in common.

One thing to do is well use long ranged attacks all I can say
I am very late and you might of moved on / learned, but Candice is a Thanager revolving around proper dashes and reaction times.
Tldr: Get used to her patterns - she always teleports two to three times, and a good idea is to dash away, then close the distance to get a few hits in. Treat it more as a waltz than a race, as Candice can easily bait you into moves.

Moreso: death isnt the end at Death Inc - souls that arent processed into soulary just regenerate - Death is giving everyone a royal asswhooping to smack sense into people actively overproducing and rebelling against company rules - especially as Death is especially feeling the strain of the workload.
Hell even Death isnt immune to his own rules, and he isnt the Reaper he used to be.
why are the final bosses the easiest ones?
