I would like to let the photos have a lower resolution, like 1280x720, which can save me a lot of disk space, but I haven't seen any place to adjust this. Is there a way to adjust the resolution?

i really wish there was a way to set photo mode as the default shooting mode. i hate having to switch every time i power on, and t he battery is so bad it doesn't really warrant leaving the camera on.
Helo friend, i am in a trouble. I bought hero 8 on march and let me know your camera is geting heat after 15 min of continouse working. Is it normal or some issues. Please reply me . Akhila
You mean 15min continuous shooting in 4K? I personally never had heat issues, but I live in the mountains and normally shoot only short clips (of 1min max).

These are artifacts created by high ISO values. Try to set the ISO to 6400 - make a photo or video and you will see it.
