A good dad for teaching your son how to do his own work.

Good video…good seeing you teaching him…learning how to fix cars will help him a lifetime…

Thank you! You know most kids these days don't want to learn how things work or how to fix them. I'm always grateful when he does take the time to learn something new.

can you please tell me the size of socket you used? was it a 17mm or 19? Also, I have a son your son's age and I loved the dynamic there going on, great dad teaching a young man to that type of labor, two thumbs up to both there. great work, also liked very much the camera work, steady, good focusing etc, congrats!

Thanks for the huge compliments!! As far as the socket size I don't remember off the top of my head but I will check ASAP and get back to you.

I need to do a follow-up video. I was having really bad cupping on the inside of both rear tires and thats the main reason I changed the shocks. I have put about 15k on the car since and no more cupping so far. Hopefully this solved the issue. Here is the link for the ones I used. Is This the same process for a 2012 basic Veloster?

I think so. And FYI this did fix the tire cupping issue. I have put 20,000 miles on those tires since and they are still going strong.

I replaced struts few weeks ago, and today I just replaced the shocks. There was serious tire wire on all 4 tires, because shocks and struts were bad. Everything seems to be going very smooth now. The process was the same for my vehicle as well. Also good to know your car is still going strong!
