First, congratulations on your first long distance solo hike while wild camping. I'm really impressed with how well you handled it, especially coming off food poisoning. Second, you did a tremendous job in capturing the wild Spirit of the Scottish landscape. I had visited Scotland about a decade ago, and it brought back great memories, including that sense of awe and wonder that arises from within us while deep within the majestic mountains of the Highlands. I could FEEL the Joy arising again within me as I watched that beautiful smile on your face. This was the first vid of yours that I caught, and I will be subscribing. Truly inspiring! I’m from Scotland and have never walked the WHW. One of those things I’ve thought about but never got around to. Just returned from a trip home, saw the hikers on the route, and started thinking I’d love to plan a solo trip. I have watched a couple of dozen WHW videos but yours is easily the best. The drone and tripod shots were excellent and doing the voice-over in the edit is a vast improvement over the usual aimless babble into a GoPro on the trail. Looking forward to more from you.
