It's the 918 of course , because I love Porsche and their way of making good cars without exaggeration in the engine components and they're more simple than other car manufacturers and they do deliver their work and compete with much bigger engines ,that's for me the best car manufacturing philosophy

I loved that first episode with the 3 hybrids and Hammond just saying, "This could get expensive." as they were jetting around the track.

The Vulcan brakes were squeaky as it is a track only car so they were not up to temperature
Also, new carbon ceramic brakes will make a lot of squeaky noise while they're being broken in.

Never mind the cost of the Chiron, I can't even afford the tires. Ha! But still, a part of me is happy that such a magnificent machine exists even though I'll probably never even see one IRL.
Tires are worth more than what I earn a year
Not much to see, just a car that stands out.
I've seen both a Koenigsegg and a Bugatti Chiron side by side.
Only difference is that they stand out no matter what other vehicles around it.
I have sat in both.
All i say is holy mother of god. Engineering at it's top.

Probably couldn’t afford the tires for any of them lad and thats including most of the population in that statement.
To be fair they more than likely charge that much for tires and oil change because of the huge loss it costs to make them, they gotta at least get something back I suppose lol it's not nearly as much for cars that can hit the same speed or faster

James drove a Ferrari P3 and a Ford GT 40 Mark 1 in the same episode those cars are worth 25 to 30 million dollars together

well, most people would be dead after like 3 seconds (with vodka as example, a fairly strong and common beverage)
Assuming that you can drink 0.35 liters a second, of course, which is another superhuman ability not sure anyone is capable of
absolutely phenomenal, the f1,eb110,diablo and the enzo will always be one of the greatest cars ever, they're cars thrice as old as me, even more, but still is able to keep up with modern supercars, after almost 40 years, the f1 still remains the 3rd fastest mclaren, and all these cars still in the top 50

saw a Chiron in Naperville IL with an LFA and mp4-12c right behind it. was riding my cbr1000 motorcycle and it gave me chills to think that with how fast my bike is, that chiron would outrun me. there are only a handful of production cars that can do that and im used to being the fastest on the road... well.. not that day.
I live in naperville area yet probs won’t see a chiron in my lifesm.
One of the best things about being from Chicago is that every once in a while, you do see the odd über-rich lunatic who can afford cars like this.

I knew I smelled BS when James said 1250kg for the LaFerrari. I can't believe Ferrari outright lies to journalists to this degree. It weighs 1585kg so for Ferrari to suggest they have nearly 700 pounds of fluid in the car is insulting.
Nothing better than watching people who have more money than you will ever see in your life driving a car you will never get to even get close enough to touch

The CCX was brought onto Top Gear where the stig crashed it. But this is the Grand Tour so I suppose your statement still stands.
The reason is that (apart from the twice-yearly specials) this show ended just before the Jesko was announced in 2019.
Koenigseggs are dangerous too much power and not enough downforce that’s why they’re never mentioned
I think this has something to do with Koenigsegg themselves. Almost no major car show has featured any new Koenigsegg. Not Grand Tour, not Top Gear (new one), not Fifth Gear and there are very few reviews too. And this can't be a budget problem because every show I mentioned here has tested Bugattis, Paganis, McLarens etc... so budget definitely isn't the issue.

My favorite car I’ve ever had was the 2019 Ford fiesta ST call costing $18,500 out the door.
My favorite motorcycle was the 2021 Yamaha R1 costing $20,500 out the door and would go 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds but you gotta have two balls to ride that.
I like the idea of owning a bike but I really don't feel like risking my life because some mental midget in their Hellcat feels they need to do 120mph while starting at their mobile phone.

The 1st gen vulcan is the second most beautiful car ever built in my opinion, following only the 300sl.

I saw a Chiron when I was working in Knightsbridge in London. I was a traffic marshal at the time and blocked the road from one of the hotels where it had just departed. It genuinely looked quite fragile in a way. I don't know if the guy driving it at the time was actually the owner but he looked absolutely terrified 😂

0:39 continuity editing tricks are always clever considering much of their draw is how they are depicted as normal guys chatting it up k crew absolute in 7 figure sticker machinery haha no chance. No people off in the background in the POV turn shot by the run off exit area but then multiple people appear standing in the open directly near the run off exit mid turn in the overhead shot.

What about the GT40 driven by Ken Miles? That was estimated in the tens of millions
These are all production cars which can be bought new if you have a spare few million. The value of the GT40 is due to it's age and history.
