I haven't used the Campark one so I can't comment on that but this camera doesn't disappoint. It very good.
Excellent idea. I wonder if the solar panel has to be directly exposed to the sun or is daylight enough? Does it have rechargeable batteries or a one piece battery? Will the solar panel be the only power source or will it have an extra battery or something?
Hi, thanks for your questions.
1. if the solar panel has to be directly exposed to the sun or is daylight enough?
- Solar panels work best in direct sunlight, but can also work without direct sunlight.
However, there will be a drop in performance in the absence of direct sunlight. That’s because solar panels need 1000 W/m2 of sunlight to reach their peak output; that much sunlight can only be achieved when there is direct sunlight shining.
Solar panels produce electricity using a combination of direct and indirect sunlight as inputs. Both forms of sunlight carry photons, which is what the solar panels convert into electric current. If there is no direct sunlight available, solar panels will produce electricity using indirect sunlight alone.
2. Does it have rechargeable batteries or a one piece battery?
- CY95 has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery which is non-removable.
3. Will the solar panel be the only power source or will it have an extra battery or something?
- Besides the solar panel with built-in battery, CY95 also supports to install 4 AA battery as a backup power source. The power is supplied from the built-in battery by default.

@@LaNaturalezaEscondida I have tested it for 48 hours during a bright but overcast period and the solar panel did very well. The backup batteries were still showing 100% at the end of it. I honestly think it is an excellent camera and well worth the purchase price. I'm testing it in a new location at the moment. It's been there a week so far and I'm interested to see how it has held up and what footage I've got on it.
The camera is very interesting and I'm curious if it keeps what it promises. 😉
It is very good. The shots I have from it are all very clear and the video quality is excellent. I'll be adding to the video I have shortly as the camera has been somewhere else for the last week.
better off investing in a browning trail cam
@@striderwhiston9897 are good cameras, but also have their price. not everyone wants to afford this.
