    Another 2 new trail cam operators from Fox Aid Prince Edward Island, Canada, being sent your way as you assist with your perfect visual on setting up the menu. I complement your video by sending them the settings I have on all 24 trail cams that I purchased for Fox Aid PEI, Canada. To have you explain what each setting does and quickly with to the point is a game changer. You set up "chapters" as well so I can narrow down for the fox saver sections of the menu setup, another game changer. Fantastic work. I do believe I sent a donation to you a while back. Sent another donation again minutes ago. I see your subscription numbers are rising. So pleased to see your success evolve. :) Meg, field biologist, operator of Fox Aid PEI, Canada. You are very welcome. Thank you for commenting and letting me know the video helped you. I catch a lot of flack for being long winded in my videos, so it is great to hear when viewers appreciate that I took the time to try to fully explain things. Ever since TikTok hit the video scene it has gotten a lot harder for long form creators like myself to survive. The whole online video market demands things to be done in 30 seconds or less. This is why you find so many videos that just don't cover things in detail.

    Hello Again, well, Fox Aid Prince Edward Island, Canada, chiming in again. A new trail cam operator, so yes, again and again, forwarded this vid to help him along. This is an act of kindness that you prepared this vid and did it step by step concisely. You are part of the team of saving suffering foxes! Who would have figure that all the way out here in Atlantic Canada, Eastern Maritime provinces. Thank you Sir! :) Meg, trail cam operator, fox Aid PEI, Canada

    Had to listen to your very informative, detailed review of menu functions in sections taking a break from time to time and returning. A lot to process for the first time with a trail cam. I appreciated that you explained why each button choice you decided to to chose what you did. Clarity appreciated, Eastern Canada thanks you. :)

    Once again, your video I share as my team here at Fox Aid Prince Edward Island, Canada, purchase more ceyomur 95s. Your exact precise no nonsense description and visual explanation is helping me so much to help them get it set up. I now have 9 of these trail cams and expanding the Trail cam team to help save more foxes and coyotes from mange. Thank you so so much! I also found some extra tips . To delete vids on the screen cam, press for a few seconds the top button. It brings the screen to the delete process. @@nothingbutgadgets You presented yourself so well. So clear. Easy to follow. The encouragement to new ceyomur 95 purchasers is to wait to have their trail cam in their hands and then click your vid and follow along, pausing when needed. You explain just enough on the unfamiliar so that it makes sense, like PIR...if we want more google it and poof, all the details emerges on the "university of TH-cam." LOL Canada, Prince Edward Island chiming in to say thank you again. More trail cams in the hands of any community person means they can sight a sick fox and reach out to Fox Aid PEI for me to start the coaching on how to save their fox and then connect them to any of the 23 bravecto hosts all over PEI that have in stock the medication for them to purchase. You are helping save more mange foxes and wildlife here. Imagine that! Amazing what your ingenuity and presentation skills can evolve into producing and helping ! Whoop! Whoop! 🍁

I review your video each time I purchase an additional ceyomur 95 solar powered TC. 5th ceyomur arrived yesterday so back to review your vid. Working at saving mange foxes here so trail cam work at night is occurring more frequently, thus more trail cams needed to save the fox with medication. Thank for walking us through in sequence, no fussing about, a slight explanation on some of the options unfamiliar. 🍁

    Thank you for the instructions! SO much easier to understand than just looking at the user manual. Question. I have it all set up, I turn it on. Then... crickets. It doesn't seem to take videos or photos automatically. It only does them manually. What did I miss??

    • @nothingbutgadgets
      @nothingbutgadgets  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmmm... It sounds to me that it might have a defect and the motion sensors is disconnected. If you just bought it from Amazon, you have 30 days to return it or exchange it. If it has been more than 30 days, the camera has a one year warranty and you should contact Ceyomur for a replacement.

    An interesting note about "three sensor" detectors. I have opened some cameras and found only one sensor. The three sensors were for sales. I often turn off the side sensors as it is helpful in specific circumstances. Also, some companies massage the trigger speeds as much better with the three sensors which is rarely the case.

    • @nothingbutgadgets
      @nothingbutgadgets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. I have not seen any difference in testing between a three sensor and a one sensor camera.

    Thanks for the video. I am new to trail cams, can you please explain the PIR interval? Does it mean that once the motion detector is triggered, it will not be triggered again for another X amount of time? Is this from the trigger or the end of the video? And what decides how long a video lasts... until the motion stops?

    • @nothingbutgadgets
      @nothingbutgadgets  ปีที่แล้ว

      PIR interval means the time that the camera will not detect motion. If set to 10 minutes, then after the camera is triggered, it will not be triggered again for 10 minutes, even if something is moving in front of the camera. The 10 minutes is measured from the time of the triggering.

    • @nothingbutgadgets
      @nothingbutgadgets  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can set the video record duration in the setting as I demonstrated in the video. It does continue recording if there is motion. It only records as long as it is set to record.

      Listen, partner, I am not sure what your deal is here. This video is a helpful video to teach people how to use the menu system on this camera. It is not even a review video. I made it to help people. No one asked me to make it or paid me any money to make it. I made it to help people who may struggle to use these complex menu systems. At no point in the video did I ever say the camera was 40 megapixels. The only reference I made to the camera was to say the brand and model "Ceyomur CY95". I made no claims about the camera at all.
      You are blaming me for not telling you something in a video that was not intended to cover the subject you wanted it to cover. You are not complaining about what I said; you are complaining about what I didn't say. Well, buddy, there was a ton I didn't say in this video because this video was about one thing: the menu system and nothing else. Do you go to Taco Bell and complain that they don't serve hamburgers? Do you go to KFC and complain that they don't serve Pizza? Why are you complaining about what is not in a video that was not intended to cover what you want? You are being unreasonable and just plain petty.
      FYI: I lost money on the making of this video. I make Settings and Menu walkthrough videos to help people. That is it.

      Hi friend, I am not clear on what you are asking. Are having trouble playing the videos back on your iPhone? Is that the issue you are having?

  • @leokolev
    @leokolev 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    10 minutes PIR inteval .. why??? Your camera will be off for 10 minutes.... PIR need to be 10 to 30 seconds...

    • @nothingbutgadgets
      @nothingbutgadgets  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on what you are using your camera for. If you are using it for security, shorter interval times are more important. However, using short intervals of 5 or 10 seconds for a wildlife feeder situation would only result in hundreds of photos or videos of the same exact animal. Most wild animals will stay at a feeder around five to eight minutes before moving on. Setting the interval to ten minutes reduces the possibility of getting multiple unnecessary captures of the same animal.
      Additionally, if you are shooting video at night, this consumes a lot of battery power, because the IR lights have to stay on for the duration of the video. If you have short PIR intervals and are shooting hundreds of videos each night, this could result in the battery being drained faster than the solar panel can recharge it, thus resulting in the camera becoming inactive. Not to mention that it would result in your SD card filling up much faster.

    • @leokolev
      @leokolev 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@nothingbutgadgets yes, you are right 👍 I'm using shortest interval because I need long video of each animal.

      You should not have to everytime. Only the first time. This is a function of your phone, not the camera. Your phone show remember the network automatically. It seems your phone is forgetting the network for some reason.
