This cover is SO amazing! Violet's voice has such beautiful operatic high's and low's. I have listened to this repeatedly for the past 3 days, it's such a beautiful, dark song. I had my 3yo listen to it and he said, "This song gives me good feelings". He obviously has no idea what she's singing about, but he can hear the dynamic, powerful and melodic notes she hits and it's just stupendous.

Great, now I've just completely reimagined the entire story behind this song to fit the concept of a "devout" nun struggling with her sexuality and love for a woman for the first time and being so terrified of the threat of damnation that she spends half the time trying to beg god to "save" her from her feelings and from Esmeralda for "tempting" her but in the end she just says fuck it essentially decides that if she's going to hell anyways, Esmeralda will go with her. Thanks a lot.

I love this even more from a woman's voice. Because I always felt like the first part of the song is what is feels like to grow up gay in a very religious household and having your first girl crush. The second part is what can happen when you are taught to hate yourself and go dark like the Pulse shooting. If he couldn't be himself and have love no one could..
