unfortunately he is not really making music anymore. The accusations not only destroyed his career, but they also destroyed him personally in his creativity. I literally cry everytime i think about this. There is NO composer in the whole world, even though there are quite some awesome ones (Hans Zimmer, Christopher Tin etc.) who was able to make me feel like Jeremy Soul was able to do with his music. For me personally, he will always be remembered as the best ambience music composer of all time. Whenever you wander through the forests of skyrim or enter another abandoned mine, youll hear Jeremy Soul in the backround with his masterpieces. I really hope with all my hearth that one day he reads all the lovely comments he is getting in all the skyrim music videos and starts making music again...
That's very good. I probably spent a lot more than 1000 hours on Minecraft, even though Skyrim is my favourite game and Minecraft is my 3rd. But I guess it makes sense since Minecraft is more of a platform for mini-games along with the survival and creative side of it, and you can find tonnes of mini-games by just hopping on popular mini games servers. However, Skyrim left a much bigger impact on me than Minecraft, even if I've spent less time on it.
I cried. No joke. It's been 10 years since I traveled through Skyrim... Two decades since Morrowind! Man... This music feels like home. It's my lullaby, it's my motivation music, it's my anthem. Thanks to everybody involved. If you're a Dragonborn, you're my friend.

The fact that this comes from a game. a form of media that many consider being childish and stupid. one that many don't consider to bring anything to the world. Seeing a full orchestra playing this with a wonderful singer at that. it means so much more to us gamers. because while it may have died down to a certain degree many were ostracized and degraded just because of playing a game. and have it rise to this level, it's amazing just as it is beautiful.

Imma be honest, part of the reason I play Destiny is for the music. Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim all have amazing themes, and it always make me wanna jump in when I hear them.
I always found it interesting that Skyrim has such amazing and inspiring score, while being quite shallow and uninspired game itself (in my opinion, obviously).
Not only does she sound hauntingly beautiful, as one should with skyrim, she also sings the dovahzul part, and the choir part, and makes me want to replay the game. Again, kudos, man

@@Rayzorrel From my experience of working in companies, constant excellence is acheived through repeating good methods and improving on them. In other words, as soon as they had finished Skyrim, the same team should have been hired to make the next Elder Scrolls game - using the same methods and improving on them. This would have provided job stability and in-house training. I think Bethesda rested on their laurels and allowed their excellent team to get jobs with other companies. Skyrim was released 7 years ago! That's far too long - it's as long as a child takes to go through secondary school from start to finish!

Imma be honest, part of the reason I play Destiny is for the music. Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim all have amazing themes, and it always make me wanna jump in when I hear them.

@@Rayzorrel From my experience of working in companies, constant excellence is acheived through repeating good methods and improving on them. In other words, as soon as they had finished Skyrim, the same team should have been hired to make the next Elder Scrolls game - using the same methods and improving on them. This would have provided job stability and in-house training. I think Bethesda rested on their laurels and allowed their excellent team to get jobs with other companies. Skyrim was released 7 years ago! That's far too long - it's as long as a child takes to go through secondary school from start to finish!
Because it's 2018 and both of these games are on the same engine XD They do nothing since skyrim, in 2011 it's been cool but now standards grows up :/
