48 HOURS IN GUERNSEY | Staycation on the Channel Islands

- Chasing the last of the summer sun, we spent our time pretending to be tourists in Guernsey, soaking up the sights and testing our the best 48 hours in Guernsey itinerary we could think of. All prices included in this complete itinerary.

Kicking off the trip with breakfast in St Peter Port, we take a quick tour of the cobbled streets and cute souvenir shops of the town. We then head out of the town centre to get a bite to eat at Candie Gardens, a peaceful and secluded gem not far from the busy harbour town.
After checking into our hotel and feasting at the local restaurant, we head west to Vazon Bay for one of Guernsey's famous sunsets. What a cracker!
The next day we start it all of with a Mexican breakfast before heading to a nearby hidden cove to try our hand at some Stand Up Paddleboarding. Next, we try Guernsey's best coffee (as a local, this is is where I go 100% of the time), and explore the historic Vale Castle.
To round the trip off we head off on an adrenaline-filled boat trip to the Island of Sark, where we tour the hidden caves and see Sark from an angle that few ever do. Definitely a recommended activity for your weekend break to Guernsey!

Fermain valley, our favourite hotel in Guernsey...... years ago we stayed at Le Chalet just down the lane from Fermain Valley, sadly it’s almost derelict now.....such a shame

Wow, you guys really have some incredible drone flying skills, I always look forward to your drone shots :) Aaaah and that stand up paddle board is so cool! I had no idea you could get inflatable boards. I did one of those speed boats a few years ago in NZ and it was awesome, I'd love to do it again one day. Sunset ... if you go to the middle of Vazon Bay by La Grande Mare Hotel you can get some great sunset photos using the groynes to frame the sunset but I do think the sunsets on the west coast of Scotland are just awesome ..
Sunset there is magical! Can highly recommend 😁 aww we are LOVING the sunsets around Scotland at the moment, the clouds are looking VERY fiery!

Congratulations on getting the pronunciation of Bordeaux right 👌. As a local (Guernsey) it is great watching your videos and your view of the Island and bailiwick.
Haha we got that right at least.. The rest of our pronunciations in Guernsey are not great!!
