  • We share with you how to adjust the Tein Flex Z and Endura pro plus shocks on the Model 3 or Y vehicles for the DIY person.
    Endura Pro Plus
    1. Need 2 jacks
    2. Jack up car
    3. Remove wheel
    4. Support spring arm or knuckle with the second jack
    5. Use 15mm socket to loosen the 2 bolts holding the uppermount to the chassis
    6. Compress shock and pivot towards you to reveal the adjuster knob
    7. Adjust the knob to your liking
    8. Reverse steps, jack up spring arm/knuckle to allow for proper engagement/threading of the bolts
    9. Torque everything to factory spec

    Hi,
    For model Y performance 2024, do you recommand endura pro plus?
    Thanks sir

      Didn't like them at all. Tested on 3 different chassis, 3's and Y's, with results that were not as promising as the Teins when it came to comfort.

    Tein makes adjustment extenders, 100, 200 & 300mm. I have 200's on the rear shocks. Easy adjustment in the hatch of my Mazda 3.

      They didnt work on the tesla model 3 for a few reasons. We tried.

      How did you install this? Have m3 hb as well. There is a window in the coilover but we need 90 angle adapter for that. Or have you cut the car body to adjust it from the trunk?

      @@bohdanmazurenko I am not sure I understand, but do you own a Tesla? There is no cutting required of anything.

    When installing the endura pro, how do you tighten the lock nut on the top hat without the rod spinning with it?

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its a very light torque spec. Just use blue loctite also. You can grab the shaft through the spring coils.

    Sir watched ur videos. Can the pro plus fit the new model 3 highland long range?

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes it can but your shocks are already very soft.

    • @ahchuanz
      @ahchuanz 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@zevcentric it's too soft for my liking. Too floaty
      Was looking at the proplus to increase the hardness. And probably mix it with a lowering spring

      To access the adjustment knob it needs to drop down from the chassis.

    You stated 41 or 42 ftlbs. Is that correct, or should it be 30 ftlbs?

      I'm sorry it's 41Nm, which is 30 lbs-ft. Thanks for catching my error in units.
