    6:40 My personal experience
Today we’re going to talk about referred pain.
    What is referred pain?
Basically, referred pain is pain that is coming from a different location than where you hurt.
    Referred pain examples:
    1. Pancreas
May have referred pain to the left shoulder or the back. It may also not be referred pain and hurt right over the pancreas.
    2. Spleen
May refer pain to the left shoulder.
    3. Heart
May refer pain to the left arm, shoulder, or jaw.
    4. Gallbladder
May refer pain to the shoulder area.
    5. Liver
May refer pain to the right shoulder.
    6. Ovary
May refer pain to the lower back.
    7. Prostate
May refer pain to the lower back.
    8. Kidney
May refer pain anywhere underneath the last rib to the spine. A kidney stone can cause pain in the groin area, but the problem is not in the groin.
    What causes referred pain?
They don’t really know what causes referred pain.
A very large percentage of people have referred pain versus pain from the actual pain source. If you haven’t had an injury to a certain area, but it starts hurting for no reason, it’s likely referred pain.
What to do for referred pain:
    • Healthy keto
    • Intermittent fasting

Yes, I was turned off to good and healthy alternatives by medical doctors. I finally tried after 13years of suffering and though it took time, dedication and $$, I improved my health a great deal through acupuncture and diet. And now with Dr Berg videos I am learning next level! If I would stick w it the autoimmune disease would probably not relapse at all! I could have saved a world of hurt had I not followed doctors orders for 13 years.😖

What did you do? I have a right shoulder pain all the way to my elbow and it's been a month now going back and forth to physio and massage therapist. But massage its helping me but not physio. And honestly my diet is pretty good. I juice a lot with vegetables and fruits. I don't eat junk food. I monitor what I eat. But to know avail I still have this pain. The only think I know every time I'm in the vehicle I'm always tense and I hold on to the side of the door, really tight. So I don;t think this related to my gallbladder. I could be wrong. Any in put what you did in your part would be appreciated if you share your knowledge.

Me too. My dad came down with T2D in his 40's. All the BAD, BAD, BAD health advice he received from traditional medicine put him in a nursing home in his early 70's. Had my dad gone keto to full carni I'm 100% positive he'd not be paralyzed and living a hellish life in a nursing home right now. I also would like to add my mom would also not be in a nursing home suffering from Alzheimers

Excellent video, thank you Dr. Burg. As a massage therapist, I stress diet quite a bit. Something else that can also lead to a lot of neck and shoulder pain is food sensitivities. Many years ago I had a client who had chronic neck and shoulder problems, we worked on the issues for quite some time, and I encouraged her to look at her diet. Being that she was the wife of a doctor, this wasn't something that she really wanted to do, however, she finally went to a doctor who specialized in treatment of food sensitivities. Low and behold, she found that her neck and shoulder issues were related to yeast, one side was brewer's yeast, the others was baker's yeast. It was quite an eye-opening experience for her husband as well.

It’s so much when our bodies have been through injuries, having challenges with auto immune, & one like me, just coup w/ pain daily. I’m in a mess for sure! I absolutely know what I can do, that will help me through a lot , is bring awareness, & reach out to ones that have been through. I take a lot on myself for a lot, systems over the years, lost a lot of trust in doctors. If that one doctor, if they don’t make you feel comfortable, even laugh at you, please just continue... don’t give in, or up, and it’s really tough when you’re not feeling well, it truly is. I feel like me and my body have this love/hate relationship going on now! The lessons I’ve been learning, & meeting ones that went through similar issues. It’s a lot to grasp at first, however, knowledge is the greatest strength and very empowering. They tell ones their odds, be that odd, and bring awareness. Much love, wishing all the best, & keep that head up high.

Thank you for teaching us! I've been wanting to know what was hurting on my left side underneath rib cage for years! Seems I needed to pay attention to my pancreas and gallbladder. Pancreas makes sense since Diabetes 2. But since doing Intermittent fasting I have not needed insulin injections for two months! Come to think of it, the pain is gone too!
