Thank you mate, I really appreciate you sending it over and tbh I’m just really focused on improving my content and hopefully you’ll see more and more of that in the coming weeks. This watch is a stunner and I can see why you love it 👍👍
Love the colours they've gone for that rich burgundy is fantastic. I'm on the fence a little bit with the leather strap but tbats an easy fix, definitely agree with you on the crown guards I had a watch with those "pointy" crown guards & found that they really did interfere with using the crown. Still a good watch & well worth the ££ 👍👍
It’s a beauty and I’d agree, although the leather strap is really nice it’s not very dive style really. Definitely one that gets a lot of love and it’s very much deserved. Thanks for watching bro 👍👍
I think Orient have become Seiko’s value range, you could build a decent three watch collection with a bambino, a defender and of course, the Kamasu. I have the original cherry dial version with the s/s bracelet and it’s my daily. In house movement, sapphire and very decent lume. The only weak point is the bracelet with its pressed clasp and hollow end links, but for less than 200 this is a bargain. Just noticed the special edition has round markers whereas mine has batons, I prefer the batons as they look like teeth… great vid my friend.
Excellent review Simon. Orient watches are often ignored by reviewers or at least get very little coverage compared to Seiko for example. I have 3 Orient watches, a Mako XL, a dress watch, bit small for me but my wife wears it and loves it, and a Japan Domestic Market Panda Chronograph. The Kamasu is a beautiful watch. I have similar so won't go for this, still, it's one of the best value watches , excellent quality and a proper in-house movement, not some 3rd party as you find with so many microbrands. These watches hold their value to for those interested in that.
Thank you Brian and I couldn’t agree more, Orient definitely seems like an under appreciated brand that has some beautiful pieces. Appreciate you watch mate 👍👍
I used to own a red MK1. It is arguably the best value for money non micro brand diver. Unfortunately the bracelet and clasp are a bit pants though. Enjoyed the video mate
Thankfully this one comes on a really nice leather strap, not very dive ready but nice none the less and I know what you mean about some of their bracelets. Thanks for watching mate and I hope you’re well 👍👍
Very nice watch! I only have one orient and I love it! This one is very sharp! What was the model number again, lmao, what a mouthful. Interesting choice of band for a diver, I prefer steel or fkm rubber for my dive watches for sure but I love the colours on that bezel, and the dial is very nice as well, solid watch!!!
How much is this watch? I have a citizen (NY 2300 dive watch)similar watch but the dial is bad now. so I am searching for a minute track to replace which is diffcult to find.
These are available for around £300 but please do shop around and also bare in mind they are limited edition so you may need to act fast. Thanks for watching Ananda 👍👍
Am sorry you feel that way Jose as I think it’s a beautiful watch. I guess that’s what makes life interesting, the fact we all like different things. Thanks for watching my friend 👍👍
Top review 👌 yours are so on point now, especially with the close up shots you were really able to show the dial beauty.

I agree Chris and that would make a fine 3 watch collection for sure. Am glad you like yours and appreciate you watching 👍👍

That's an attractive piece. Great review brother! The matte finishing of the bezel insert is pukka²!
Am glad you like it bro and appreciate you watching. Will check out your podcast later as well, just never seem to have time for anything anymore 😞
@@WatchtheTime no problem brother! Good thing my pod's average 22 minutes. 🤣 I hope things slow down for you soon. 👊🏾
Never owned an orient, this one seems great....🏴⌚🏴⌚

The model numbers on Orient watches are like a few paragraphs long 😂😂
It is a beauty though mate - thanks for watching 👍👍
Lovely stuff. Nice dial 👍
Thanks mate, this watch really took me by surprise and is a real beauty 👍👍
Got one of these... love it :-)
Nice one mate, am glad you like it 👍👍

I bet you have even not seen this watch. It is one of the best watches for its price.
I regret buying this. This watch is tiny. Wish they did this colorway for the triton.
Sorry to hear that Terry but I wouldn’t of thought that a diameter of almost 42mm was tiny, each to their own though. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime yea I bought a super engineer for it and gave it away.
Truly a case diameter of 42mm not tiny. Maybe you have a large wrist - good on you.
Rolex Design. Never would buy this Watch.
Sorry you feel that way Ludwig but appreciate you watching anyway. Have a good day 👍👍
